I believe speedway is watering down the gas. There’s no way in hell that I can drive for 5 minutes and already use 10 miles worth of gas. This is crazy. It took me some time to realize that it only happens when I come to this specific gas station, but after today I won’t be coming back. The service is rude anyway.

The speed way at 711 east Jefferson in Detroit mi was VERY RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS!! I asked them what time they open for gas and the lobby area and the male/ female staff ALMOST took my head off verbally. It was 0400am May 23td but that was no excuse for that type of treatment!! I’ll NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!! I’m telling everyone I know not to patronize that location!!

That gas station is completely disgusting and needs to be cleaned up,bums hanging around everywhere begging for money..I actually seen a lady peeing on the side of the gas station,the store is dirty inside and out..the parking lot is known for drug use..this location has completely went down

Aside from obvious acceptable Speedway expectations, lady/man working tonight was extremely ghetto and disrespectful.Try treating customers with decency so they’ll return, not like half wits before conversation has even started. Disgusting behavior. Will not return and will tell everyone I know to go elsewhere.Too bad since this was my go-to gas and convenience stop.

I don’t like to complain about places unless it is 100% warranted. I have been going to this speedway the entire five years I’ve worked downtown and it used to be great but now I absolutely dread going there. They have allowed the homeless to take over their entire parking lot and I can’t pump gas or even walk into the building without them demanding to hold the door for me and expecting money in return or begging to pump my gas. I have empathy and compassion but I also don’t have a lot of money and would like to not be harassed the entire time I’m just trying to purchase a drink or pump some gas. Also, every time I’ve gone in in the last two months, the frozen coke has been down. Disappointing.

This place at night terrifies me, the only reason Ive given it 2 stars is because as f lately when I pass by Ive noticed the police are always stationed there. Im not sure if its only because it be around midnight or so but its a bit comforting. Ive only had one interaction with the staff and they were really friendly...

Its a very decent gas station with fair prices for being downtown. However, the surrounding one-way streets and freeway make it a little more tricky to get into and out of the station. I have been caught in a checkout line here as well.

Convenient location, great place to stop for snacks, drinks, and gas!

Customers can never ever use the restroom as supposedly the key is either lost or an employee took it home so management says. This has been the case 3 times in the past 2 weeks yet it is always available for the employees. Then they argue with you.

I would not recommend this location. The way the parking lot is and the streets are confusing a bit.

They routinely close the inside of the store before the hours indicate. Ive been turned away multiple times.

They are the only store in the the downtown area I know that sells General Snus. Great!

01/24 every night this female clerk works (2:00am) she leaves to rear of store and banging on the windows for 15 min can not wake here up. Lots of lost customers as doors are locked.

Someone stole my card and bought $80 worth of gas or something at this location. I called abd spoke with the manager who was there at the time and he could of cared less. Maybe you idiots should start asking for ID before someone makes a purchase!

Used to go there. They were really busy one day and while I was waiting I had someone stand in front of my car so I couldnt pull up to the pump. He stood there so his trucker coworker could pull up in front of me.

A ghetto Speedway. Ghetto residents pull up to the pumps, overcrowd them and just sit there with no intention to buy gas. And then crudely look at you who wants to buy gas like; Yo,Ssup?....Just smile and wave, Skipper, just smile and wave

This is my favorite gas station!!! They have every snack you could possibly want, and the service is always friendly and fast!!!

DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION. Within a few hours of my gas purchase, my credit card information was stolen and used twice in Detroit. Luckily I was contacted by my credit card company and they created a fraud investigation.
