Great food, great prices and great service... what else could you ask for. Over been going here for over 6 years and Ive never got a bad meal.
FANTASTIC customer service! They were a little short-staffed but the owner made up for it with her incredible speed, friendly service, and positive attitude. Food was excellent, staff was amazing. You will not be disappointed!!
I should have known better than to order the avocado salad, but bc it was so expensive I thought...well, maybe. Wrong, wrong, wrong. For the price,dont think Ill go back. But the waitress and cooks operated so smoothly. Definite pros.

I had a good meal. Nice location, great service. The food is slightly more than what some coney island type places out there, but it is downtown and they do give you some pretty generous portions (at least for the meal I had so far). Wasnt the biggest fan of the chili (Mexican omelet) but the meal as a whole was good enough (even the omelet itself was still pretty good) to make me want to come back, whether for breakfast or one of their burgers or something else. Glad I found it, it was worth it.
Ordered a grilled chicken Greek salad and boy was it delicious and plentiful! The pita bread was lightly grilled and so delicious as well. The pancake were extra large and looked good (served with log cabin syrup). The wings and fries also looked delicious. Nothing that came to our table let any of us down. Would definitely return.
I was very insulted after stopping in this place. I had a taste for a cheeseburger so I decided to stop in.there to get one. Now I understand that I was downtown and prices are slightly higher, but I didnt expect to be charged nearly $14 for a regular cheeseburger and a pop. And even though I was dining in the bill was brought to me before my food!! Where do they do that?!!! Then when I opted not to eat there at all the waitress said thats what I thought!! Now how was I supposed to take that? Was she insinuating I looked like I couldnt afford $14. Im black, but im.not going to assume race played a part because Im sure they have plenty of black customers. But I definitely left there feeling very insulted. I Wil NEVER go back, and not because of the prices, but because of her nasty attitud.And if she happens to stumble across this review I had nearly $1000 in my pocket when I was there and I make $24 an hour, so trust me, I can afford to pay $14 for a meal.
Decent enough diner. Omelet was tasty and large but hash browns were very bland. Pleasant service helped the visit.

My friend and I went there for a breakfast in the Saturday morning. Food and service were good.
The restaurant was clean. The parking is in the street or there is a parking close to the building where you can park for $10. At the time there was only one server. She was friendly and professional and took are orders and returned our food in reasonable time. The food was ok. Not all of the food that came out was hot and had to be sent back.

Nice place for lunch and clean
I dont wanna go back. The owners style of running a business is to hire as few people as possible to run the restaurant and make this small number of workers take on as many tasks as possible. These kinda business owners dont pay their workers much by the way. Every time I go there I see only one waitress working, she has to take customers to tables, give them food, take orders, and process payments. Owner needs to have more than one waitress working at a time. Orders take long to get delivered, payments take long to process, because owner wants to hire as few workers as possible. This diner is downtown, theyre always busy, they need to hire more people, expect your visit here to take longer than you intended.

Stopped here for lunch today before heading bank to Canada. Service was quick and friendly. Very attentive and quick to check that we had everything we needed. Food was excellent. Exactly what we wanted, and didn’t take too long to come out. All of the staff were friendly and smiling. If I ever hear back to Detroit, I will go there again!

Nothing fancy about this place but you get great food and service, old school atmosphere, a true diner. We had breakfast here and the food was good, place was clean and the servers were super friendly. Great cup of coffee too. Huge, tasty omelet. Could have easily been split between two people. Good prices. Clean looking restaurant with decent service. Definitely recommend.

Overlooked. This diner is an overlooked gem in downtown Detroit. Easy to miss on the very popular Cadillac Square with all the new places to distract you. Get your comfort food fix here without the popular and trendy high prices at some of the neighboring places. Service is efficient, friendly and genuine. Beware though, the portions are extremely generous here. I was only able to eat half of my dinner but gladly took it home in a doggy bag.

They treat customers like family. There is a wide variety of choices on the menu and the food is delicious and served on a timely basis.

Food was DELISH. I selected this place on a whim. It is within walking distance from some grand hotels on the lake. Service was fast, especially considering we arrived just before the lunch rush. Comfort food. Amazing salads. Good prices. Plentiful portions. I will be back for more.
The food was very good and the staff very friendly. The wait for food was excessively long though that may have been due to pickup orders. Ill be back for sure, but probably not so close to noon.
Great lunch at this downtown diner. I enjoyed a Gyro with salad. Others in my group had breakfast and burgers. All prepared fast and great service. Will definitely return when in town next time.

If I could rate zero stars for this restaurant I would. Our service began good...our actual waitress was very nice. But there was an incident with the OWNER of the diner. One of my companions dining with me was full and didnt want his waffle. He asked the waitress to take it away. Thats it! He didnt ask for it to be taken off his check or anything...just taken off the table. Next thing we know a woman we assumed was the manager came over WITH AN ATTITUDE asking, whats wrong with the waffle, in a nasty tone. My companion politely said, nothing, Im just not going to eat it. You can still charge me for it. She snapped back with, oh, yeah cuz its still going to be on your check. He said, I never asked you to take it off. As she turned to walk off with she said, you WILL be charged for it. We were so offended by her approach and attitude over a waffle! We asked our waitress if that was the manager and she informed us the lady owns the diner with her husband. I couldnt believe an OWNER treated their patrons this way. Not to mention we WERE going to order a few caramel cakes to go for our crew. But why would we give them anymore of our business. This ladys attitude was disgusting!! And...the food wasnt even that good. I would never recommend anyone in the Detroit area eat there. Were on tour with a play and would have told everyone to go and try them, but the OWNER ruined that!!! Never again!
Good breakfast cafe. A better omelette than I had at iHop. Opens at 7am, earlier than the other regular breakfast cafe in the area.

Finally I made it to the diner for lunch. Looked like I arrived just in time because this place became very busy very quickly - always a good sign. The lady that helped me was pleasant and friendly and the food was delicious. I couldnt finish it was a large helping. Overall very good!

They have a great catering service and are super nice. I love their Greek salad with meat and the mozzarella cheese sticks. They have a great breakfast as well and plenty of seating.

Theres a Greek salad and then theres a *Cadillac Diner* Greek salad. The customer service is incredible AND fast for carryout and for dining in. Its obvious this restaurant takes pride in using quality ingredients. I have eaten at least 50 Greek salads at this place and never once have I had a bad tomato! This is a wonderful place to go for lunch at under $15 (including tip).
I was underwhelmed by the food options in Detroit. When we searched for restaurants, this one did not show up in yelp/maps etc. Found this while walking and enjoyed great food and great service. Also, there was a snow storm and all the other diners were closed while this one was open. The lady allowed us in even though it was almost closing time and she was very courteous.
I had a smaller corned beef sandwich with navy bean soup and fries. Pretty reasonable for a downtown location and the food was very good. I would eat here again without question.

We went for breakfast at about 9 am, and it was great. They give you plenty of food for the price (some of us ended up sharing a plate) and the food tasted great. Stafd was friendly and the service was relatively quick. It did start getting pretty busy when we were leaving so Id recommend going early for breakfast to beat the crowd. Lunch menu looked good.

Normally you guys are awesome. But after waiting 35 minutes for a salad after calling in, then receiving spoiled ranch dressing and a funky soft hard boiled egg on my salad, i dont think I will be returning. Truly disgusted.
