For the hardcore libation enthusiast this location is one of few in the city that is open to 2 a.m. 7 days a week. The helpful, courteous staff is definitely a plus. Just recently I requested a specific bottle of wine. The manager didnt forget and my request was there a little more than a week later. I found this to be commendable. Keep up the good work, Kenwood Liquor!

Always crowded

This is the best store in Detroit. The owner, Steve has been there for 30+ years. He treats everyone like family. The manager Marie been there since day 1 with Steve. She’s absolutely amazing as well. Not only do they hire employees from neighborhood but they give back as well. Newly remodeled store both inside and out. Best and largest selection in town. If they don’t have it they will order it.

I havent been there as often as in previous times. However, they renovated the store inside and outside, and it looks beautiful.What I like most is they give you change without purchase.Now, I dont like that they eliminated the awning above their windows. Thats where I always stood under when waiting for a bus, protected from the rainfall.Otherwise, the stores good.

Hostile environment

High crime area. One person had to sit in the car with it running in order to feel safe.
