Ive driven past this Woodward Avenue landmark fir the better part of my life and never had the occasion to visit until 2 weeks ago when i wanted to pick up a new vanity bag and another packing cube for an upcoming trip that did not afford enough time to order online. They have a large showroom that overshadowed the inventory but a good amount of their stock is in the massive back stock area. Pricing was tolerable and the sales clerk helpful i will give them more busy in hopes tussy they can keep their doors open and preserve their landmark status.

In world of online shopping where u think u can find anything... this store proves u wrong. They have unique items for any budget. I adore this place.

I wanted to get a nice luggage for my husband who travels for work, and wanted to support local business. (We live in Wisconsin but my husband is from the Detroit area.) Toni and Lee were both very helpful and friendly on the phone to help me select one. They neither rushed the conversations nor were pushy. I asked if they price matched and they said yes. I accidentally showed them an ad with a slightly different product so it did not qualify for a match, but they gave me their professional pricing discount instead which was much better and not insignificant. They shipped it quickly and for free. I look forward to when we are in town and can visit the store itself. Really happy to support this Detroit business.

Highly, highly recommend this cool old school shop, I have no idea how they are still in business after all these years but it must be because this place is a gem. They have killer prices with the commercial discount--they literally beat Amazon on the Briggs piece I bought. If youre looking for quality luggage you can compare the entire line of briggs & riley w/ victorinox, hartmann, tumi, etc. right on the spot. Great salespeople that arent pushy as well. Id go so far as to say the best luggage shop in the Midwest.
