This is actually my 1st time coming to the furrier and the experience was A-1! Clay took very great care of me and customized the mink vest I want since I’m a small framed guy. Afterwards I browsed at the other furs and let me say you have a new lifelong customer! Wolverine fur co is an amazing company with great people running the place. They run a hassle free company where you ship your fur to them or drop it off conveniently downtown Detroit in eastern market and they will clean, condition, repair and cold store it for the warm months for you and beautifully return ship it to you back for the brutal cold months here in Michigan when you just have to have your coats for the brutally cold winter!! On top of their great service they also have a HUGE selection of fur coats and accessories! I wouldn’t highly recommend this company for all your fur needs

We could not have asked for a better experience! We went in to inquire about a fur that I had gotten for a gift, and Paul was completely honest with us. He couldve just taken our money, but, instead, he took the time to explain everything about the coat to us. We were also there to see if we could find my husband a coat. He had something specific in mind, and Paul, again, took the time to talk to us, show us many coats, explain the furs, and, in the end, say that he could make a custom coat that my husband would love. Our visit was so amazing that we decided to purchase a matching coat for me! I would never go to a chain store when you can get this kind of excellent personal service!!!

I first went to Dittrich Furs on Third Ave. Had a horrible experience!!! Went back the next day. The manager said he trained the employee who offended me. Then he went on to try to hustle me (try to act like he understood but wanted to charge me full price). Went to another fur place. So, so. They had something else going on. Would drive by Wolverine Fur Co on my way to and from work. Today, I decided to see what they had inside. Dont let the outside fool you. They have some amazing furs!!! The styles and the cut. They also gave me what Dittrich did not. Answers to my questions. For any ladies wavering on purchasing a fur and are concerned with the maintenance costs. At Wolverine they are very reasonable. Really friendly atmosphere. And for anyone who knows me, an accountant, they know it is all about the numbers. BUT my experience (what my millennial children value) was wonderful. I have 4 other pieces in mind. Wolverine Fur Co is a multi-generational family company, rooted in Detroit, that gives Detroiters a bang for their buck, and leaves us feeling good to have supported a Detroit business.
