Beautiful shop. Many kits, lovely fabrics, classes and knowledgeable staff. My next project will come from that store.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! For over 5 years now, Pinwheels & Posies or as us locals call it, P&P, has been my home away from home. Its the quilt shops of all quilt shops. From the fabric selection, to the kits, to the classes, and much more. If you cant find it, ask Peggy & the Girls and they will try their best to find it and order it for you. I seriously try to find excuses to just drop in and say HI!, because I love it so much. Even my husband knows when I say Im gonna run to P&P real quick, that really means I will be back before dark! HAHA :) Some of my best friends I have found there too!! If you are ever near Dickinson, TX you should stop by and if not the website is great! I cant say enough good things about it!!

I love the store and the material is beautiful, but they have quilts that are displayed with price tags, like they are for sale, but when we decided we wanted to buy one, we were told that price was for the kit. Very misleading and disappointing!

Quality Customer Service. I made a last minute run to grab some fabric I needed for a project. I called ahead and let them know what I was looking for. When I got there she had multiple fabrics pulled for me to see. AND I got there 10 minutes before closing. They were helpful and friendly and werent upset about me coming so late. They also have great fabric selection. Modern and traditional styles with current fabric designers.

This place would have definitely been a 4 or 5 for the available prints, organization, cleanliness and classes being taught at the store. But the customer service was horrid.I was very interested in a quilt that was hanging at the entrance. The colors were bright and it was stitched very well.Then as I looked I found some beautiful colors and pattered fabric. I started to take pics so that I would be able to remember my selections but a clerk came up very close behind me and stated that she didnt understand why I needed to take pics of the fabrics. I told her that these were some that I really liked and it helps me remember what I like and where I found them.A second time she came up and stated again that she didnt see the need for my taking pics and especially the end of the bolt. I explained to her that the pics help me remember what I like and matching the info with the fabric would help when I came back to locate the fabric that Ive picked.Then I was in the back of the store and found many fabrics that would go with a nautical or ocean theme. Im working on a master bath and kids bath for curtains, shades and drawer linings. She came back again! This time so close that I almost bumped into her. I explained to her again but also included that my memory isnt as good as it used to be because of a disability. Then I told her that I really liked some of the prints in the back of the store. She told me, The prints in the back are for adolescents.Ok, that was definitely a put down toward me!So then I asked to speak to the manager bc this lady is hounding me over nothing. The clerk behind the desk told me that the lady that Id been speaking to was the owner!I explained to the clerk that the owner had approached me three times seeming very upset that I was taking pics of the fabrics. I explained that I was disabled and take many pics bc it helps me remember when I need an item. I told her that I felt the owners behavior to be very rude especially since Id explained this disability and why I was taking pics. She just shook her head and said that she didnt know what to say as the other lady is the owner.Then I asked to speak to the owner again to clarify what I was doing and how I felt about her behavior but then they said that shed left the store!Is it illegal to take pics of things you like in a store for future reference? So I deleted my pics in front of the clerk and told her that Id never be back bc I clearly expressed that I have a disability and the owner didnt consider it at all. She didnt want me taking any pics in her store.I always try to support small business. Had the owner approached me in a professional and kind manner I would have purchased fabric and other items from her store, taken classes and I was looking forward to buying the beautiful quilt that I was admiring at the entrance to the store. She was very upset with me and I was bewildered! And upset when she basically referred to me as an adolescent! I pointed out to her that many of the fabrics in the back were used in quilts hanging in the store that were not adolescent themes.Enter at your own risk!

They have a lot of pretty things. This shop flooded and now is better than ever!
