Great store.The Deli guys are cool. Kordell deserves some recognition for his hard work back there.The front staff are friendly too. One of the courtesy clerks, Robert, also deserves recognition for being one of the friendliest workers Ive ever met in my life. I actually get happy when I see him working and I get to have a chat at checkout.This place manages to not have that depressing grocery store feeling too.Good staff and good vibes in this Safeway.

This Safeway is in a small older building. The staff is friendly and hard working and they keep the store reasonably clean, tidy, safe. Store is generally well stocked, but, because they are a smaller store they dont always stock all the products that the newer big stores do. The prices are ok (the standard Safeway prices). The produce and meat section folks are helpful and they keep stuff well maintained. *NOTE: The Pharmacy here is a great place to get your Covid and/or Flue shots - no waiting & private delivery space.

Safeway is clean and most people taking precautions to stay safe. Store was well stocked. This Dixon location is near the 80 freeway.

I love the customer service at the deli and sushi counters. I dont like that a lot of specials and promotions dont apply accurately. I feel like I always have to double check my receipt. Often, Ill need to wait at customer service for a correction to be made afterwards. I also dont like that the meat department is frequently out of stock in whatever specials are advertised for the week.

This store have great supply of merchandise. Make you feel you are on a shopping trip instead of making your weekly groceries.

Absolutely do not eat anything that they make themselves, I dont know why but I try eating their chicken multiple times each experience I had would equal that is a horror story. Everytime I go to the bathroom now I get War flashbacks. Only giving two stars because the cashiers have been pretty chill but maybe dont let kids cook the meals eh??

Safeway is a good place to shop. I hope that they return to 24/7 mode soon. For now they are open from 5 a.m. to Midnight.

First time here hopefully my last time. About 90 percent of the customers were not in masks. One lady showed a healed or healing staph infection on her leg contagious and then she had on no mask besides these issues the place was cleaned and stocked staff 2as friendly helpful and nice. I choose not to post the photos of the staph leg.

Could be a little more organized. Staff is very limited but I understand its a smaller store than most. A lot of areas are tight for high traffic areas. Great prices overall.

I shop here nearly daily. Its a good store. Clean and user friendly. I wish the check out lines were dealt with a little better. Not enough Employees helping get non self check outters out of the store quicker. Isnt the whole idea is to get your shoppers in and out in a. Ordely time. Because honestly i dont enjoy standing waiting to check out when theres other registers that can be used. Thats just my opinion though.

I always go to Safeway, there is plenty of parking, theyre abiding by Covid-19 regulations, the store is clean, staff is always friendly, helpful, accommodating and knowledgeable! The shelves are usually stocked well (and organized too), the bakery consistently has fresh baked bread (most of the time, Im lucky enough to get warm sourdough!) and other fresh and yummy baked goods! The deli department makes delicious sandwiches and freshly prepared sushi, both are my favorites! I will absolutely be a repeat customer!!!

Went for gas...great prices. Long hoses so you can pull up to any pumping. People were wearing mask while pumping their gas.

Safeway is one of the best grocery stores to shop from they have some of the freshest produce and a great selection and variety of products to choose from the only thing that sets them apart from other grocery stores is there a bit over priced compared to other local stores but I think your paying for the freshness of the produce and products.

Worked for Safeway years ago, never would have seen this, one checker. Other than that, store is clean and well stocked, but if we wanted to wait in a line we would have gone to Walmart

Expansive choices that cater to all. Excellent sale prices and justforu deals. The hot deli items make tasty meals in a pinch. Love me some pot pies!

Great place between the Bay Area and Sacramento to stop for a bathroom break! Haha Clean bathrooms for the most part. Could have been cleaner though. They did have someone at the front to verify everyone wore a mask inside which I appreciated.

Safeway is just Safeway expensive and buy shrimp that I got for $6 and a container the very next day was like spoiled

Stopped in on my way home. Was hungry so thought Id get a sandwich from the deli. It was so hot that I didnt want to cook. Got a pastrami sandwich. The sign stated any sandwich $6.99. I was never asked what size just what type of bread. She fixed the sandwich and rang it up. The sandwich came to $11.99. I ask her why was it $11.99. She stated well its a large I stated no the sign say $6.99. She says oh thats for the small size and I figured that you would like the large😳

Traveling through and stopped at Safeway. Good service and definitely friendly service too. However, bought the low sodium cottage cheese and was out date. The 2nd I bought had two days left. My bad, I should have checked, but was in a hurry. I live in Sacramento. Not worth returning for refund, dang.

Masks are not enforced. Id say 3 out of 4 people werent wearing one. I was waiting on a Starbucks and watched customer after customer check out and not a single employee said something. Glad I was only there for a coffee.

I have been getting my groceries from Vacaville Safeway during the pandemic because they do all the shopping and bring them out to my car and load them. I love this option!

I was screamed at by a person in your store for going the wrong way down an aisle. I reported it to my checker Bea! Ive been shopping there since we bought our property in 1996 and know everyone by name. To manager Sophia: I wont be back til aisle traffic garbage is removed. I have lots of other options and do not need this stress!

Great deli, Fresh authentic sushi made every day, flowers and most produce is always fresh, great meat & seafood selections. Some imported things on shelves are expired. Some cashiers seem tired or worked hard & most of the time their attitudes are great even though they look pretty exhausted.

Great friendly staff always willing to help. I LOVE the staff at the meat department and they are always amazing. The store is always clean and the inventory is always kept up. 5 stars.

Dixons Safeway feels more like a locally family owned grocery store than the big business chain store it is.The employees who work there are local people who live in Solano county and are part of the community. Dixons Safeway has the small town feel of the mom & pop grocers of the past. It has more of a warm neighborhood store feel. You will experience friendly helpful people. People who are not impersonal with forced smiles like that of big chain stores. Makes me a regular customer because of their customer service.

Employees are amazing, but you can tell theyre overworked. Management is terrible. Its the only grocery store in town... But if I could avoid it I would. The customer bathrooms are absolutely awful.

My son needed to pee, so we had to brave the restroom. The second we opened the door the smell assaulted us. The floor didnt look bad, the toilet was empty, so I lifted the seat with my foot. The bottom of the toilet seat was covered in weeks of urine. Even a casual wipe would have broken the crust that had formed. The other side of the toilet had dried urine caked down the sides. If my son wasnt about to pee holders we would have walked out. Horrible.

This is the only grocery store on this side of town and the prices are high but the merchandise is good quality but the convenience is what makes it worth it for me personally.The only downside is this store now closes nightly at 12 AM instead of being open 24/7 due to liquor theft occurring in the night, however I still recommend this store for grocery shopping .
