Needed some help getting heads freshened up and needed them back quickly. Very happy with the team at Walden... Junior especially stepped up and helped me out and communication was top notch too.

Hugger Orange 1969 Camaro SS w/427 and Tremec 5 Speed.I took my SS for a long dreamed about Dyno Tune to the World Famous Lamar Walden Automotive; I had seen their participation in the Engine Masters Challenge with a 409 on Hot Rod Magazine and I saw many Utube videos of Lamar and Rob so I was very excited to come to this shop.Rob quickly solved a spark problem after the 1st Dyno pull; after several more pulls and adjustments, she has about 40 more HP and does not run rough anymore....in fact she has never run better! He also solved my vapor lock issues by re-routing my fuel lines away from some of the heat sources and installed a Holley Heat Shield under the carb.Rob also gave me 2 options for upgrades to get 100 more HP!I will return.Make your old car all it can be by taking it to the Wizard...Mr. Walden.Thanks Rob!

I took my 09 g8 gt to Rob to tune my transmission and motor. Rob took out the time to diagnose the problem and fix it the same day. Im please with Rob work, and going forward Rob will be the only certified technician who will be working on my 09 g8 gt. If you want the job done right the first time, then this is the place to get your car fix right. 👍

Brought them a 409 engine from Performace Automotive (Bethalto IL) that Gordan Shifflett built and hacked up. Had heavy vibration, water in the oil, and valve train geometry was way out of line, also many other issues. Rob and Jim had it straightened out in two weeks, ran it on dyno, it was awesome, big horsepower. Do it right the first time and bring your engines to the Walden Shop. Dont waste your time and money on wannabes.

Built a 496 BBC and it is incredibly strong! Works w power brakes and sounds absolutely amazing!

This place is great for the 348/409 engine, Duramax engines, LS and Later EFI engines plus so much more.
