Audio Lab of Georgia did a great job fixing my Vacuum Tube amplifier. They are very knowledgeable and gave me a fair price.

Dropped off a Sony semi auto turn table and they told me they were backed up At least 6 weeks.I was in no hurry as this 70s or 80s unit was high quality and mechanically complex. Left me malfunctioning in most areas as it has sat around for decades. Got it back working perfect and looking pristine.I didnt even recognize it. OUTSTANDING service!

I will keep this as succinct as possible in order for potential patrons of Audio Lab to make an informed decision. Worst customer experience ever in all of my 50 years. I acquired a vintage stereo console that had a malfunctioning turntable. The cabinet was almost in flawless condition. On October 13th Audio Lab of Georgia said they could take on the project but it may take “some time”. After the console had been in their hands for 6 weeks I called to inquire on the repair status. I was told that these things take time and I should check back in March. On March second I called and it was clear that nothing had been done. As a matter of fact I am fairly certain that they had completely forgotten that I or the console even existed. I was informed that they needed another 2-3 months. I picked the console up today because.... do I really have to explain why at this point?.... upon loading, it became clear that my console had been used to push, pile, and stack other items on with no regard to protecting my property. Gordon stood by silent as we loaded and drove away. So in summary... turntable is still broken, cabinet is marred up to the point I don’t want to look at it, and four and a half months have been wasted. There are a number businesses that I would not recommend. Very few I would actively make an effort to let others know to stay away from. Audio Lab of Georgia tops that list.

I’m not a person that write reviews on businesses but this is the worst experience. I should have followed the reviews/comments about Audio Lab before taking my equipment to them. Awful Awful business and service. Absolutely DO NOT take your equipment to this business. After paying $100 for down payment they held onto two of my pieces of equipment at least 1 calendar year. After two months I started making calls to check on my repair. Both the owner and his assistant gave me excuses after excuses ( “still on the rack” - “repairman not in yet”- “waiting on a couple piieces” )-Exactly the same excuses other customers told in their reviews. Finally, during month 13 they told me one of the pieces is ready for pickup- thirty five minutes later Audio Lab called saying it is no longer working. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED consumers!

I just picked up my Marantz 4400 from Audio Lab and I could not be happier with how it turned out. My receiver is so profound sonically, now, that I am considering selling my amps. Do not hesitate to take your gear to Audio Lab they do exquisite work and they are very helpful during the process.

Always enjoy dealing with Gordon and Rowe. The owner, however, wont even return my hello. If it wasnt for my wanting to contribute to helping keep Gordon and Rowe employed I would have taken my business elsewhere a long time ago. Dont not go there because the owner is a dick, go there because the repair guys are knowledgeable friendly and fun to talk to.

Highly Recommended. Did a great job on restoring my Sansui turntable made in 1971. It was a mess when I took it in to them. Now everything functions properly, and they upgraded the connection cables. Also, the price was extremely reasonable for all that was done. Thanks, Mike

I wasnt told it would take 2 months or more for my repair on my finder amp until AFTER I paid 50 dollars non-refundable deposit. Now, about 10 weeks later, and 3 phone calls to no avail, They call me to say it needs a tube for 80.00 and a labor charge of 100 or so to replace it. A 5 year old child can replace a tube in about 2 minutes. I have owned this for about 47 years and never been charged that much to do something like this. Needless to say, I am picking my amp up soon and at a great inconvenience. The BBB and many people I know will soon hear about this I can assure you I will not EVER recommend these criminals to anyone!

They guys change the price on me. They quoted me an amount and we agreed on the price. Then came back later with a higher price. They kept my $200.00 deposit. Also, I waited for a week for a call and the lady that works there never call me. I have to call them back. Horrible customer service.

I brought the Alón 1 speakers my wife inherited from her first husband in to AudioLab for repair & refurbishment about nine months ago or so and couldn’t be more pleased with AudioLab’s quality of workmanship and more than reasonable pricing for their efforts. Audiolab replaced the all the cones that had deteriorated (dry-rot). My wife swears they sound better than when they were new. We’re running them bi-wired off an Onkyo 7.2 A/V receiver and have pushed movie sound tracks, classical music, 70’s & 80’s rock (LedZeppelin, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, etc), Salsa, Cumbias, Merengues, all at almost full volume and they are fabulous!AudioLab is definitely the place to go for hi-fi, receiver & speaker repairs!

Dropped off my QFX radio and put down a $50 deposit and was told that it will take a couple weeks because of parts and they are backed up with a ton of work. After 3 months i totally forgot about my speaker because no one called or anything, so i decided to visit them to check the status and the guy at the counter was too busy having a irrelevant convo with another customer so i had to stand there and wait for them to finish talking about bullsh*t. The guy at the counter tells me that the tech looked at it and etc but they couldnt reach the manufacturer. I highly doubt they even touched it and refused to give me a refund

I dropped off a Behringer iNUKE NU3000DSP for a warranty repair around 10:45 AM on a Thursday. I got a call almost exactly an hour later on the same day saying that they had already diagnosed the issue and swapped out a bad board on my amp with a new one they had in stock, and my amp was fixed and ready to be picked up. Simply AMAZING. Im literally still in a little bit of shock at how fast they turned it around.

Paid the $50 diagnostic fee was told two weeks later that nothing was wrong with either of my studio monitors besides the fact that 1 delivers a slightly higher frequency than the other...fast forward a couple months later that one which was having problems before is now blown bottom line is these guys didnt really check them out thoroughly like they claimed to have done theyre overloaded with un-repaired inventory & understaffed I would def recommend going with another audio repair shop these guys take way to long and their work is questionable to say the least.

So I have been a customer of Audio Lab for over 10 years! They do an excellent job. The staff is not only knowledgeable on repairs, but causes of issues. They have helped me resolve many issues! If they say an item will be done next week, unless they are closed due to an emergency or weather, that product will be on time. I have NEVER had an issue with any products Ive had repaired there. I have taken speakers, amps, crossovers, dj controllers, cd players...etc. Keep up the good work!!

I brought a subwoofer in for repair to this shop on the recommendation of an AV person that works at the Magnolia Home Theater center at Best Buy. I was charged $50 to diagnose the problem and was told I would be contacted, that their normal turn-around time was two weeks. Two weeks later I called and was told there were AV techs out due to illness and it was taking a little longer than usual but it would be on the bench the next week. A week later I emailed and was told it was in the bench and being worked on. Two weeks later I called and was told it was still being worked on. A week after that I emailed and said I would pick the sub up a week later, finished or not.The upshot of this story is these so-called specialists had my subwoofer 51 days, charged me $50, never contacted me as I initiated all the contact, and did not fix my subwoofer. Not only that, when I asked what was wrong with it, they could tell me nothing. All I have to say is that you have been warned. Its not just that they charged me and didnt fix my subwoofer. Its their lack of communication and extremely communication with their clients.Never, never again!
