Definitely would not recommend anyone waisting their time or money here. I spent 3,500 dollar last week here for them to fix what was wrong with my truck. Turn around and drive it less than 75 miles and multiple other issues arise that we’re not there before they fixed it and now they want 4,000 more. No one could explain to me why these issues arose after it just left their shop. Used to think highly of this place, but they won’t get my money again.

Went in for my usual oil change. They came out and said that someone put washer fluid in my radiator. They denied it of course. Ever since I started letting Techway do my oil changes I have not gone anywhere else because I liked their services. I barely even know how to pop my hood let alone put washer fluid in the radiator. If it was done by accident, ok, but don’t put it off on someone else that know 0 about cars.

Made an online appointment, approx 1 week before I wanted to come in, stating that I needed the brakes regreased and sensors replaced and a 5000 maintenance performed. I received a confirmation email as well as a text message confirmation. I figured all was great, I was wrong. After sitting there for 2.5 hours my car was finally done, except they didnt do anything with the brakes because they had to order the parts, at no time did anyone speak with me about not having the parts. The girl who was helping me, wouldnt or couldnt answer any of my questions, all she said was we will call you when the parts come in, Im still waiting on that call. I normally receive excellent service, but I have always dealt with John. Really rethinking all of the referrals I have given.

My power train control went out and they were able to replace it and provide me with a warranty that covers labor in a timely manor and at a really good cost. Fantastic customer service I was called and notified of all little details and asked for permission for certain things. 10/10 recommend!!!!

I had my car towed in to find out why it wasnt running. They said that it was a vacuum leakCharged me $1,000 and then said it was my fuel injectors. Had to have my car towed back to my house because they wanted to charge me a lot more. Will never go there again

Took my car here yesterday for slipping transmission. Drove it myself. That afternoon all the sudden they say wouldn’t crank. Now, they say they need to charge $1000 in repairs to crank it when that was perfectly fine when we left it. Will NEVER use this scam of a business!

Being a manual transmission vehicle the clutch became inoperative. After diagnosis it was determined that it needed a new clutch and pressure plate I approved the repair they did it in a timely fashion and Im happy with the service that I received from them. This is the third time Ive had my vehicles worked on at Techway automotive. And I recommend them for any type of service work.

I was looking for a place to have my mother-in-laws 2005 Jaguar oil pan gasket replaced and no one in the area was able to do it but Techway Automotive. Techway Automotive has superior customer service, reasonable rates and a excellent team of technicians to get the job done right the first time. I would highly recommend anyone in the area looking to have their vehicle repaired or serviced to go to Techway Automotive in Dothan, AL. I tried calling several different automotive repair shops in the area to get this job done and no one but Techway Automotive was able to do it and do it on time. I was able to successfully coordinate this repair from Atlanta with the assistance of Techway Automotive customer service representative Vanessa. She displayed excellent customer service skills and kept me updated on the repair every step of the way.

Something is not right.I have had multiple vehicles in for various reasons. I must have terrible luck. Nothing seems to stay repaired and this process is expensive!I admit that I posted a review a while back that was positive. I was wrong. Please forgive me.I have had two trucks in recently and both have needed to go back for the same issues 2+ times. Oil leaks and AC went wonky last year in one. I brought it in and it was fixed. Same, truck, same issues about a month ago. They fixed it. Twelve hours later, it was another part of the AC that was needing fixing. $2k more. I spent close to $8k on this truck within three days. Oil leaks, AC, bed lights, under body bushing and tire rotation and balance + service. AC has been fixed now three times in about a year. Again, must be my luck, right?Another truck last year left their shop with the tail lights not working. I brought it in for other reasons to include the charging system. I had to bring it back to have the tail lights connected. Now, the tail lights dont work and the vehicle wont keep a charge. It has been driven less than 10k miles since.Thousands upon thousands spent.The one truck with the AC was there a month. A MONTH. Took it home and back twelve hours later. Was told it would be a few days. I showed up when I was told the repairs would be complete. Wrong part or something. No call and no concern. I paid for the repairs and I have not picked up the truck. Why? Well I guess it is because I am doing my part. I will not return with any more vehicles needing repair.Something isnt right. I have spent a heck of a lot of money for an individual to be ignored when things dont get fixed repeatedly. It SEEMS as if they believe, well, he is dumb enough to keep paying and keep coming back...I challenge Techway to challenge the accuracy of my statements.

Got there right when they opened and a simple oil change took an hour and a half. So, not the fastest place if youre in a hurry. But seemingly quality work otherwise. Very nice waiting room as well.

They did great work but did NOT save the parts replaced as instructed for proof for the insurance claim and have cost me many dollars thus far that I could’ve recovered.

If your looking for a shop that will fix your vehicle right the first time, this is the place. Greatest nicely and made me feel welcome. I explained what work I needed. I was told what was wrong and I had it fixed. Great service with a smile in a timely manner.

So far so good, $70 service fee to start off. I dont know if that is normal/Average or good. I am old school, where we just paid the mechanic to do the work and didnt have all these fees. Checking on wiper motor to see why it is not working on a 1999 Licoln Town Car. So far, I arrived for my appt. And the car was taken back within 15 minutes of me walking in the door. The young lady that greated me was very nice and professional. The front area is clean and free from clutter.1 hour after my appt/check in time, and i have a complete diagnosis and bill. $486.65. I think it is a little more than expected. But what ya gonna do if you are not mechanically inclined.Now it is the wait for the part and the repair. All in all, so far service is great. Priceis...well the price is the price you pay in 2021 for auto repairs. And they garauntee parts and labor.

This was my 2nd visit here. The staff, from the desk to the technicians, are extremely nice and accommodating. I had a problem with my vehicle while loaded down after a grocery run, and they didnt hesitate to quickly get me back in my way. They even offered to put my cold items in their refrigerator. I am extremely grateful for their help!

I took my sons car in to have the brakes checked. They identified that it was in need of new brakes. The brakes were repaired and we were on our way. My son started to noticed a loud squeal while driving. We took the car back and Techway identified the problem and fixed it. They took the time to explain to us what had happened, gave us some parting gifts, and had us back on the road in no time.

I went in to have my car inspected for Uber. And I did have a good service experience there at Techway.

I cannot respond. They have told me that they fixed it, but after taking control of it. I found more systems that didnt work. I returned it the next day. That was two working days ago. They have not returned any calls to inform me of the problem. They couldnt show me where they rewired a burnt spot

Stopped in fo a simple oil change and was told it would only be a few minutes. After 45 minutes I got my keys back and left

Do not take your car to this place to get any serious work done! I promise you will end up not having a car for at least a month. They do not honor their so called warranty and they overcharge. My advice is take your vehicle in to a ac delco place. If I could have the option of giving this place no stars ⭐️ they would have 0!

Customer care was pleasant and courteous, however the Oil Change Required indicator was not effectively reset. They said they tried, but it wasn’t reset.

My 18 year old son used them to have over $2500 worth of work done on his truck. The ones that did the work are not there anymore. He had run off into a ditch pulling into a job today and didn’t see it because the grass was waist high. So he called and ask them if they would mind checking it and just making sure everything is ok and if it might need a alignment. They told him yes. We live about 30-45 minutes from this place. He gets there and the guy tells him they can’t get to it today. 🤬🤬

On a girlfriends trip to Florida my fuel line broke. It was late on a Friday afternoon. Lloyd loaned us the garage car so we could make it to the beach while they worked on my Tahoe. They were professional and the pricing was very reasonable. Thank you for making our car issue as easy as possible!

The guy that was at the desk when I tried explaining about my car warranty he was to busy trying to argue with me who the warranty was under. After I told him multiple times it was through CarMax and gave him the number to call, couldn’t really tell him what was going on because he was to busy still trying to argue with me. They also left empty coke cans in my car and I know it wasn’t me because I don’t drink sodas.

When I first contacted Techway, the Salesman that I talked to was very knowledgeable about their services. He helped me chose great tires and set up an appointment time. I took my car there to have a alternator replaced my car is all manual car manual windows manual locks five speed four cylinder they quoted me a price of $573 plus $75 Diagnostics when I took the car in and dropped it off it was running when I refused their service and went and picked the car up that afternoon I paid for the Diagnostics but my car has not started since without a jump start today I spoke to another shop they put an alternator on and a new battery my invoice total $342

My moms car been tjere for six weeks still not fix.call around 5 on a Friday put me on hold til 530 and the call got cut off.never go there they fixed a part that had already been fixed earlier this year..i highly dont recommend anyone going there.

I was having problems with my diesel truck leaking diesel fuel & a small water leak so I took it to them & they changed the fuel pressure regulator & that took care of the diesel fluid leak. I asked them about the water leak & they said they didnt see one but they would do a pressure check on it & they said they found a small crack in my water reservoir so they put a new one on there (which if I had known the reservoir cost as much it did & the labor to put it on was almost as much as the part) I would have bought one & put it on myself or got my guy at the shop to do it because I priced it & you tubed it & there was nothing to changing it out. I also had my oil & filters changed. Overall they are great folks, very friendly, & professional & get the job done fast. The only thing is I thought they were a little pricey but it made me realize I am doing alot of work way to cheap so I gotta go up on my prices.

In the past couple months we had Techway work on our car twice. They were polite and courteous at all times and did a good job fixing an electric issue. They also fixed a power steering problem but immediately had to re-do the work (total time took about 4 days). The main issue we needed then to address was diagnosed as an engine mount and CV axle problem. The total cost for this was about $1700 (on par with other mechanics). About 3 days later the original noises worsened and when we took it back they said it was another problem that would cost $8,000. We took it to another mechanic who had to re-do their work on the CV axles which took care of the problem. All-in-all we questioned their ability to do quality work in a timely manner.

Our experience with techway automotive was amazing. One of their mechanics, Chris Tanner, worked at another establishment and we had done all of our mechanic work for about 10 years. We did not realize he had moved to tech way. When we heard that he had, we had no problem choosing tech way as our automotive repair company. The very fact that they hired Chris Tanner speaks volumes for take away. He is conscientious, professional, courteous, and personable. Take away completed our work within one day (and it was a lot of work!). We will be using tech way from now on! Also, the person who helped us in the office, his first name was Lloyd, cant remember his last name, was amazing as well. He too was courteous, professional, and personable. Just cant say enough about this great company.

Our camper broke down in Dothan on the way to Frank Jackson State Park. We explained we were on vacation and they helped us out right away. The tech working on our camper was excellent very knowledgeable. The service tech went above and beyond to help us get our camper fixed. We had many problems but they took the time to explain and show us each issue . They are the most honest automotive place we have ever dealt with and wished we lived in the area but hope to come back to Alabama next year and would schedule service with them because we trust them so much. Great people and superior service.

They were 5 stars but....I originally brought my car there to get new tires 2.5 years ago. After getting the new tires we had some issues but they fixed them so no biggie. After about a week we noticed a noise coming from one of the tires. We brought it back in and they couldnt find the issue. I even reported to them that I thought there was something in the tire. Well now I just got new tires and I asked them to look out for anything in there. Low and behold it was the tire stem cap that they claimed wasnt on the car when I brought it in.

Gone there a few times for an oil change was very happy with my service however this time was not impressed. They returned my car with the oil light still on said they turned it off an soon as I left it was back on again.

I saw that Techway was offering free oil changes for 1st responders and medical personnel during the Pandemic and since I was due I decided to call. The staff was so friendly and helpful and even sent someone to pick my car up from my job. The service was fast and once the oil change was completed they delivered my car to me and wouldnt even take a tip!! This is my 1st experience with Techway but it definitely wont be my last. Top notch service, I highly recommend!!!

Recently, (05/23/2020) I had the misfortune of having to replace an engine due to catastrophic failure. I provided a replacement engine and some necessary replacement parts--and Techway provided the rest. If any of you have ever turned a wrench, you know that removing the components from the original engine (Starter, alternator, power steering assembly, A/C, transmission) and replacing pertinent sensors, seals and gaskets--In the motor-head world, this exercise is the quintessential example of a mechanical marathon; and it requires focused, long term attention to detail to accomplish. So, how did the mechanics (Techs) of Techway do? They nailed it! First time out of the blocks--no runs, no drips, no errors. Excellent, top of the line expertise. Thanks, Techway!Visited to have two tires replaced and a four wheel alignment. Scott and Hunter found hidden damage on the remaining tires. Inside sidewalls had deteriorated due to dry rot—great safety catch, as the integrity of the tires had been severely compromised. No pressure to replace—I was just shown the facts. Good tread, but ancient tires (15 years) on a very low mileage luxury vehicle. Great service, safety conscious, fair pricing! I’ll be back!

I was charged 300 $ to have my car towed there and back 10 miles, plus tech diagnostic. They wanted another 1700 $ for oil change intake gadget said I had a bad starter.What was really wrong Techway. I needed a new key. Which cost me 185 $ thats programmed .That was it. Good luck people.I was told after the fact from a car dealership whos used them and a couple other people that they are definitely a rip off. I knew it when everything would have cost me 2000 $. When it only cost 185 $Beware. Response to Service !Check engine light lol its went off since I got a new key. Thank you service person.

The people are great and super friendly.. Went in for an alignment and oil change. I had to take my daughter with me and wait but that is okay cause they had things for her to play with and a tv that I could put on cartoons. At the end they even gave her a treat bag.. They even had an awesome coffe set up which is a win for me.. This is the place to go if you want something done right..

We picked up my daughters Jeep last week and paid these people $10,000.00. I now have to take it back because it is making the most awful noise. We are scared for her to drive it. I honestly don’t think they even drove the vehicle when they finished the job. If I can get this repaired correctly without having to hire an attorney I’ll never take anything here again and I suggest others don’t either!!! To top off a bad situation and make it worse they were so very rude. $10,000.00 is a lot of money to put into something. When you pick it up you shouldn’t have to take it back. Horrible experience!!!

I had a console glitch. After running diagnostic test, they told me it was something that the manufacturer warranty should cover. There is something to be said for honesty. Outside of warranty issues, I will not go anywhere else.

When I arrived at the shop later he greeted me and asked further questions about my vehicle. Dustin was up front on what he thought may be the issue and also told me other possibilities to be aware of. He called me when they had diagnosed the issue and explained the steps needed to fix my vehicle. Misdiagnosed my car as having a bad intake gasket. Quoted me 1200 to fix it. Took to another shop and it was the water pump. Cost only 400 to fix. Tech way is way too expensive.

Last year was our first trip to Techway for work on our motorhome. Everything was flawless and we were thrilled with the service. We took our motorhome back last week for oil change and wiper blade replacement. We were in and out in a timely manner. Everyone was very friendly. However, our coach requires 32 inch blades and they put on 22 inch blades. Had it not been storming it would not have been an issue. The one thing Techway needs to do is put paper mats in the floor of vehicles. We had just had our cockpit carpet steam cleaned and it was spotless. When we stepped in the coach all I saw was black greasy shoe prints left on the carpet. Made me sick!

I have been taking my company vehicles to them for several months now. Hunter Glenn has been very professional, and keeps me informed on the status of the work being performed. The work is always done in a Timely manner and done correctly the first time around. I have even had a phone call from the Manager, Keith Alford to ensure I was aware of what was going on and to make sure we were happy with our repair. If you need anything worked on, from big service trucks to your family sedan, bring it here to get it done quickly, efficiently, and in a timely manner!!

The work performed priming the fuel system on my 2002 F250 Diesel, was satisfactory. As this procedure is typically simple and of short duration. I was surprised that it took three working days to complete. I was told that it should be ready after one day. My total disappointment is due to a number of things. On the day that the work was performed, I was informed that the front drivers seat was wet and that this was probably due to a leaking window seal. I informed Dustin that my truck had never had a leak. He remained insistent in his position. After picking up my truck and returning home I discovered that the entire drivers side of the cab of my truck was soaking wet. This could only be as a result of the drivers side window being left open. It has taken considerable work and time for me to remedy a situation not of my making. I am considerably displeased with this entire situation.

My air conditioner was repaired very quickly, it took a couple of hours. The staff was polite and attentive. Can’t say anything about the quality. The air conditioner keeps working. But time will show . Will have to update this message in a while because the problem was fixed a week ago.

Quick and thorough troubleshoot. Repair took 4 hours to fix a/c system. Very knowledgeable staff.

Had my 01 dakota towed to techway. The truck would not stay running. Later that day they called and said my catalytic converters were TOTALLY plugged.$1200 and they could not check anything else until that was fixed. TECHWAY you did NOT check the P0 118 engine code!!! I replaced the coolant temp sensor ($30) and now it runs fine! What about that PROFESSIONAL DIAGNOSTIC FEE that would have cost me $1200+??? What criteria did you use to diagnose my catalytic converters ??? Maybe you should stick with tire and oil changes !!! And by the way whoever was grinding or welding next to my truck you RUINED my drivers side window!!!

Took the 02 Dodge truck(B.A.R.T) in on a Monday to Techway, for a weird rattle on acceleration. Got word back fairly quickly that it was the U joint. Called for a appointment for a oil change and tire rotation and went in that Monday morning and it took about a hour, which was not to bad. When I get ready to pay for my service the cashier tells me $140... I said that is not what I was told the price would be when I made the appointment. That was way more then what the dealership charges me. But when all said in done the cashier fixed the price that I was originally quoted. I would of gave five stars if the staff was a little nicer and got my name right on my receipt, the cashier typed Tracy Perry and not Teresa Pierre...

I saw their billboard that says we fix everything, so I called them about fixing a leaking pinion seal on my vehicle, the guy was nice but his exact words were we dont do pinion seals. Ok, your billboard says we fix everything but you dont do pinion seals, how is that right?
