Bought a NEW Forest River FR3 DS30 here in 2019. The RV spent the first 13 of 18 months in the repair shop. Christine was our original service representative who was very rude to us to the point that we had to meet with the owner Neal to be assigned a new service representative. The Finance Officer, Stacy did not complete all the appropriate paperwork, so we had to work through USPS for him to complete the trade-in. Personally I would not recommend RV Connections to purchase from.

Bought a new Heartland Cyclone 4006 from them in July. Drove from Missouri to pick up the unit, once we arrived they did a walk through with us. We were shocked at the condition the brand new unit was in, warranty paperwork ended up being a list of roughly 20 major issues. We do NOT hold that against the dealer, that is an issue with Heartland.Our issue with the dealer comes down to service and treatment while we were there and afterwards. We started out by doing a walk through, taking notes on those warranty items. Everyone to this point was very nice, the service people in particular. They told us multiple times, these issues would be taken care of. It was when we went inside to sign the papers, the conversation turned dramatically. We should of turned around and ran as soon as the general manager opened his mouth, because it was nothing but lies. Again we were told warranty issues would be taken care of BEFORE we would drive it off the lot. We were prepared to wait. However after signing the papers, they suddenly did not have adequate staffing and those issues would not be able to be fixed, as originally stated. To attempt to smooth things over, they stated we could get a write up of those warranty items for our records. Turns out they did not have adequate staffing for that either, a month went by before we even got that simple warranty list.The unit was missing the stairs to the rear patio and the ladder to the loft as well. Both the ladder and the steps were listed to be included. I feel giving them 2 months to ship us these items is very fair.Now when we call it is clearly not there problem, weve even offered to drive back down to pick up the items and have warranty work down there. I believe this is prime example of a dealership taking advantage of the market and lacking on customer service once a sale is complete. I partially blame ourselves as well, like I said we should of RAN when we felt pressured into signing. This businesss word means nothing.

Stopped by to explore the dealership as we had never been there before. Lots of nice rigs available for sale and sales people very helpful. BUT if you want anything serviced FORGET IT! Stopped by just to talk to service person inquiring about how we could schedule a future appointment to repair our furnace that wont light on our new rig. He put up so many barriers it was obvious he did not want to help us. Maybe because we didnt buy our rig from them? I dont know. One excuse was maybe it has spider webs in it and that wont be covered under warranty so it could be expensive. Another was wed have to leave the rig for 3 days before anyone could even look at it due to Covid! And after that it would take 2 to 3 weeks to get to. Covid? Come on! Not a single person working there was even wearing a mask except us. We had to ask if he had any other suggestions and he gave us some cards of possible options but even then was very discouraging. Attitude is everything and his was one of the worst we have ever dealt with so far. We were not pressuring him at all and even explained we expected it would take a while but it didnt seem to matter. I cannot recommend going there. I know well never even consider buying anything from them.UPDATED AFTER RESPONSE FROM OWNER: I DONT KNOW WHO YOU THINK WE WERE. WE WERE NOT PASSING THROUGH-WE LIVE LOCALLY! We made it very clear we could wait a month or more as we have a home in Ozark. We were the ones who told him what measures we had taken (cleaning out dust, etc) that were in our owners manual. We own a fifth wheel not a coach so obviously you have us confused with another customer. He did not offer other options until I asked. I appreciate the response but do not appreciate making it look like we were expecting to be serviced immediately. We came in our truck not with the rig and we understand there would have been a lengthy wait time- a month or more. The lady at the cashier station listened to this entire interaction. Why not ask her what actually happened.

We were not pushed to use their financing. We got exactly what we wanted. The staff was very knowledgeable and thorough. Their prices were competitive. They have a free lifetime warranty which only requires a $199./year inspection fee. We looked at a lot of other places and The RV Connection met all our requirements.

We had such a great experience with Stefan at Dothan RV Connections this past weekend! He was very down to earth, friendly and patient. He spent at least 4 hours with us and was knowledgeable or knew who to go to to find out an answer. We felt very welcomed the entire time. No pressure to buy today. We found one of a very few models equipped as we wanted, in the country. Contacted the dealership and Russell was quick to reply and answer all questions. Made all of the arrangements via phone and email on Monday, arranged pick up on Saturday. Arrived Saturday and everything was ready and waiting. Worked with Allen in the business office to complete paperwork and we were on the road in less than 2 hours. Great experience, would recommend this dealership.

When our RV’s tongue jack broke this morning we were worried that we’d be in for a miserable day, but thankfully RV Connections had the jack we needed and allowed us to change it in their parking lot. While my husband worked on the jack, my kids and I enjoyed the seating area with a TV, snacks, drinks, couches, magazines, and even coloring books! The staff were all very friendly and the store was very clean and tidy. If you find yourself in need of an RV, service, or RV supplies in Dothan- you should definitely give these folks a visit!

The folks at RV connection were a pleasure to deal with. None of the sales people were pushy or demanding. The service department went over the whole unit with me and explained any question I Had. I would defiantly buy another camper from them.

The building was nice. A few models on display inside. Easy to find brochures. Nice selection of products for camping, repairs, or upgrades.Sales team, all of them from sales people, cashier, help desk, finance were not welcoming at all. We were not acknowledged by anyone despite making eye contact with at least 1 person from every area. We had to ask a salesman to help us. All units outside were locked so we could not just browse. The salesman that did help us seemed very uninterested in our desire to buy. Never discussed features of any unit we looked at.Upon leaving, 2 salesman were sitting by the door discussing which one was up next. Almost like they didnt care about helping anyone.If you are a serious buyer I would skip visiting this place. They want easy money. Plus all their inventory is way overpriced. We have shopped across GA and FL and found way cheaper pricing.

Used them to (attempt) to sell my rv on consignment. After 6 months I picked it up, communication was non- existent. I had to call them multiple times over the course of over a month just to have pictures of the vehicle posted on their website.Some employees were great, others not so much. Not worth the gamble with other more consistent rv dealers around.

Nice big place with a lot of inventory laid out for folks to casually walk around and look. We came to look at a used diesel coach. They dont deal in this brand or diesels at all really so they didnt know much about it. Sales person (Tyler) was great and gave us all the time we needed. Unfortunately they must have given the person too much on trade since they have more in it than the market price for a similar coach. Wasnt pleased with the extreme low ball on our trade so we couldnt make a deal but everyone expects that from dealers....theyll get you on the trade or the purchase, one or the other. A closer to fair deal would have went a long way even if it was mostly in their favor. We would come back for the right coach and seriously haggle, but would likely not even try them if we still have a trade-in.

I bought my RV from CW aka Gander but I buy everything else from RV Connections. They order what they don’t have in stock and call me to come pick it up. They are very professional and friendly to me.

Unfortunately I have to write a review, that I take NO pleasure in doing! I bought a used “2017 Heartland Mallard”, from RV Connections in Dothan, Al. My credit is excellent & I was hoping to finance a new RV.However the Mangement said, since I don’t have established credit recently, just my credit card, that I only qualified for so much. So RV Connections said I had to basically finance a used RV, even with excellent credit, my trade in, and cash down. So after a couple weeks of looking at used RVs, I settled on a, 2017 Heartland Mallard. I really like it. They told me up front that the slide out in dining area had to be fixed. The salesman(Mr.Stephen), said”we make sure everything is fixed before it leaves”. That made me feel like I was in good hands & I would not have anything to worry about! I bought it on February 16th 2021, however it did not get delivered until February 27th, 11days later. The slide out was only suppose to to take a couple days to fix. I asked several times if the RV had any issues, I especially asked about the roof. The office manger(Mr. Curtis) said “the roof is good & if it had any leaks the trailer would be filled with water”. Yeah that’s what he said! I already knew about the couch being broke, and the salesman’s,Mr. Stephen said” I will make sure it’s fixed before it’s delivered”. That’s just one thing that was not fixed when it was delivered! Also I bought the “Solid Steps”on February 19th, when I did the walk through with Mr. Gary.When I purchased the steps in the sales department, I was only told they needed to order them & it takes only an hour to put them on, that’s it! That day on Friday February 19th, I asked several times if RV had any other issues. Especially I asked about the roof! Also through out the walk through, I asked Mr. Gary if the carpet had been shampooed, “he said yes”. No the carpet in bedroom & dining area and along the the couch, refrigerator, stove was not shampooed. So for 11 days I was told, that the reason for the delay in delivery was,” not enough techs, and other excuses. With in in that 11 days I was asking if the couch got fixed, if their was any other issues, and was the roof in good condition, was the carpet shampooed, are my stairs put on. When I bought the RV I also paid, 995.00 to have “paint protector” put on. I also bought “service contract” for 2,995. I also bought “gap coverage” for 900.00. I fell now I got conned into purchasing unnecessary so called protections. My first payment is due on March 20th 2021.Finally on February 27th, 11 days later it was delivery day. Brain showed up & said it would be hard to get the trailer where it needed to be. Anyways Brain went over curbs A few times, meanwhile trailer was rocking back & fourth, somewhat worried yes! Brain showed me where stairs where. They were inside standing up by door, he unlocked them & pulled them down. Brian wasn’t able to get the trailer in the right spot & he said he couldn’t level it right because of the ground. Since trailer had been delivered I have had to contact RV Connections several times. They didn’t put “paint protection”on, I got an excuse about that. The outside shower faucet was broke & water just kept coming out non stop. I texted the salesman, & was told by salesman Mr. Stephen, per Mr.Curtis, “ that they would not fix it until I payed for labor for steps being put on. I had to call office In Panama City,fl. The next day March 5th Mr. Curtis had Brian & another fellow come out. It took them 10 minutes to spray on the “paint protection”, that’s all over my windows. Faucet didn’t get fixed, just plugged up. On Monday March 8th, Travis whom works in service department, brought up the 172.00 again to me. Travis/Mr. Stephen are aware of front door being bent. Front door is bent, roof has a crack above the bedroom, wrong product was put around sky lights and the crack, by RV Connections! It don’t look like “paint protection” was put on! I have plenty of texts & pictures!

I drove 400 miles to take advantage of the deal RV Connections Dothan was offering. I had a trade in and was pleased with the turn in value. I also required the dealer to remove my Hensley Hitch from my trade in. They did so for a very reasonable cost. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant and very helpful. Love my RV Connections travel trailer.

If the management or mechanics have changed (or if my review had any effect) the following may not be an accurate reflection of the current performance of RV Connections.*******EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND A GARBAGE PRODUCT!I dropped off my RV asking for an apraisal of work to be done. They said they would call me back. They never called me. I called every week asking for the price, but was told they didnt know get. Then, after a month they say that my RV is done, except for a small trim piece. I still hadnt asked for them to work on it! The manager says the price should be low since they couldnt replicate the issue with the thermostat and no work was done. Three more weeks go by and the trim still hasnt shown up. They say there is no possible way for us to tell when it will show up. Finally, I get ahold of them one day this past week and they are rude on the phone and say that it is done and that we need to hurry and come pick it up. Then they tell me that it is going to cost $700! After asking to be transferred away from the rude employee, a manager gave me the breakdown of the price, explaining that they charged: $59 just to look at the thermostat and say that it seems to be working (and still doesnt work!) and $150 for a bathroom door that I didnt ask for them to buy and costed nearly $200 JUST TO HAVE SHIPPED! (and still doesnt close straight!)They swear that there is never any way for them to give any sort of estimate on shopping costs (as if they have never done a single transaction with that vendor or ever had a door shipped before).I never got a phone call update, any acknowledgment of fault or even a apology. Nothing.And to top it all off when my wife brought it home this is the absolutely garbage product that I found. All of the seams mismatched, the corner trim half ripped off, the door doesnt close straight etc...Please tell your friends that this is the worst maintenance decision you can make your your RV, your wallet and your sanity! Do not support this establishment.

We were visiting from Tucson, Az. During the night it was raining and we discovered a major leak in the front of our motorhome. They took us right in when we called them the next morning. We went for breakfast and when we got back they were all done. We were pleasantly surprised with the the charge for the work they did. Reasonably priced. Great customer service. We highly recommend them.

Dylan went above and beyond to get me into my dream RV. Kept in touch with me the entire time . My unit was spotless and walkthrough was exceptional. Great staff . Would definitely buy from them again uPDATE!!!! So 3 months later and living in my rv as a full time covid icu travel nurse, I have had nothing but problems out of this unit!!! I have had to replace the entire plumbing system due to leaks, at my own expense. Also, have had nothing but problems out of my awning. Getting stuck and refusing to roll in at times. This past week, had a spit of a rain shower, awning would not roll in. The entire steel arms broke off . RV connections refuses to warranty my awning stating an act of nature. Service department was rude and several members of the RV Connections company have stated that’s what I have insurance for. Side note, was even contacted through my private messenger over my post on their fb page! I just want my awning fixed! Better be careful of these people. And their products. They will treat like royalty until you purchase, then you are on your own! Buyer Beware! Jayco is a piece of junk!!! The home of the lifetime warranty is a joke!

Rarely do i give 5 stars, however after shopping for a few months, speaking to various companies and sales representative. From various camping worlds and private Dealerships, I have decided to make my purchase at Runway RV. % honesty and quality service. From. Bill. and James was a throw back of older days where customers were treated well. My hats off to you guys.

Absolute worst customer service. We called last week to ensure the camper we were looking at was still available and told them we would be in Saturday afternoon to look at it. We were absolutely ready to make the purchase. When we showed up everyone seemed very uninterested in even showing us the camper. Turns out it is broken. We were questioned why we wanted something this small which seemed rude. They would not give us a final price over the phone or when we were there in person. As we were leaving we were told we could get $500-750 off the price, when we inquired about the status of the camper today we were told the max discount was $100. Clearly not interested in selling this camper to us.

Weve dealt with Runaway RV since 2008 when they were a much smaller dealership and have always been very satisfied with both sales and service. Have purchased 2 trailers from them and due to tire blowouts and weather related damage had repairs done there 3 times. Have always been satisfied with results. Occasionally, due to delay getting parts it has taken somewhat longer than we wished but they have always gone the extra mile to get it done.

We took our RV here to have warranty work done on our refrigerator, and they fixed a whole different part the inverter had went out, after checking it out for 3-4 hours, replaced the part without even getting it authorized before fixing it. and then gave us a bill for 675.00... and on top of it the secretary was rude as heck to my husband... Let me tell you this is just great customer service!!!!!wont ever be back

We had a great experience with our purchase however with the purchase of a pre-owned unit you will have some repair issues and need service.The service part of a pre-owned should be a good source of income forthe dealership if it is performed properly but with RV Connections thathas not been our experience. The request we made were not completed on time we received information that was not correct it appeared thatparts and service was not in tune and nobody knew what was going to happen next. I am sure with the other dealerships available in Dothan wewill be able to get our unit repaired when needed. Enjoy the $6000.00 wespent we will not return.

Great people here, and we all know how the RV Industry has gone down hill. I needed some warranty work and was surprised to be told to go and see Eli at RV Connections in Dothan. UPDATE--- the work was not done properly, they put small piece of trim to PATCH JOB the needed repair. The awning was not fixed and I was told to bring it back on my way to Florida in October. I went back, they worked on the awning, now it WILL NOT WORK at all. They ordered the trim for the bathroom 2 times and got it wrong both times, still not fixed! Not interested in fixing the water heater switch. This has been going on OVER a YEAR, still not fixed!!!!!!!!!! They told me to contact Jayco and try to get them to help get it fixed.

RV Connections is the only place that Ill take my 5th wheel. Christine always makes sure that the work on my 5th wheel gets done in a timely manner and thst its done correctly.

Very friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable service. We visited to get started on outfitting our toad with a baseplate and accessories, and were happy to find the folks at the service department knew all about what we need and were eager to fulfill our desires. The bottom line turned out to be about twice what I expected, but I believe well drive our motorhome out onto our next adventure with our toad securely and safely in our wake. UPDATE: If only wed known... Turns out the tow-bar receiver on our Winnebago is about 5 miles high (OK, I exaggerate a little). So we require a drop of 12 inches to accommodate the Blue Ox tow bar for our Chevy Sonic, but no manufacturer offers anything that low. RV Connections to the rescue! They fabricated the drop connector, and we hit the road on schedule a few days later.

Runaway RV has a FIVE star rating in my book. I purchased a small Rockwood from them a few years ago, love the little camper. I purchased a larger RV from another dealer 200 miles away and had to have some warranty work performed on the unit. After contacting Camping World and Dixie RV, they both didnt have the time to look at it due to I didnt purchase it from them. Runaways service department did not hesitate to look at my unit and performed all the warrant work needed from Keystone. I recommend Runaway RV for all your RV needs and service, they have a lifetime customer with me.

Very friendly staff and helpful in finding what you need

Dont go here for an estimate. There idea of troubleshooting is to fix it and give you a bill. They justify it by saying well, we are already there so we fixed it. Heres your bill.Oh yeah, you are required by Alabama law to provide a written estimate prior to the work being done.The labor rate went up by $19 an hour in the 5 weeks it took them to troubleshoot as well to $139 an hour. If you like Mercedes shop rates, go-ahead and mosey on over.
