On Memorial Day, our air was not cooling well. Chris was out to the house in shirt order. He found the system was freezing up due to it being low on freon. the system is 23 years old and had developed a small leak. Chris and I spoke at length about replacement units. He is very knowledgeable and did not try to sell me things I didnt need. Over the next couple of weeks they were great about answering questions. We scheduled a time for replacement of the unit including duct cleaning, an ionizer and new thermostat. Chris and Jeremy arrived on time. They were both professional and courteous answering my questions along the way and keeping the work area clean. As they were able to recover freon they just pit in two weeks prior it helped lower the installation cost as additional freon was not needed. Im very happy with the service and products and will likely have them do the twice per year maintenance on the system. Great job - Thank you!

I was kept informed of the time frame even when it changed a bit due to a customer ahead of me, but I was ok with it simply because time was taken to give me a call and let me know. He came by to blow out our dryer vent and was quick and friendly while here. Definitely recommend.

Excellent both times I have used them! Air conditioner went out on Saturday night had a tech there the next morning to diagnose the problem and only had to wait until Monday morning because the warehouse was closed and he couldn’t get the part he needed that day. By 10am on Monday my air conditioner was back in working order!

I have called relentlessly to get a receipt for a charge on my corporate card and cant get a return call at all. I will dispute the charge-maybe someone will call back then.I just received the email receipt. I did call repeatedly sir. Thanks for sending it-that ia ALL I was asking for.

ECO saved us thousands of dollars.We first used a different HVAC contractor to perform maintenance on our system. They literally waved a wand around our outside unit and told us we were leaking Freon and needed a new coil or a total system replacement. In the meantime they pumped four pounds of Freon into our system to replace what had leaked out.We called ECO to get a second opinion and Chris and Daniel came out and looked over our system and discovered all kinds of things the first contractor missed. They had overpressured our system and it wasnt running like it should. It turns out there was no leak. And there was a problem with the filter.These issues were fixed as a simple service call and we didnt need a new system at all. The guys from ECO are a small operation, but from watching them, its obvious that they take great pride in their work and how they treat their customers. Its refreshing to know that there are still contractors out there who care about the people who hire them.

We have been using Eco Heating and Cooling since we moved into our new home a few years ago. I needed another vent installed in a walk-in closet. Not only did they have a quick appointment, the installation was quick and professional. They have done our bi-annual inspections and have always explained what the condition of our system was and tips to ensure we would keep a smooth running A/C and Heating system. At one point we had a heating failure in the winter due to a faulty control card. They identified the fault, explained how to keep heat in the home while the replacement was ordered and installed. They even looked up where we were on our warranty for us. Extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and professional company. Highly recommend for any of your service needs!

I just wanted to come on here and share my experience with this company. My grandparents have been using a certain company for years. I wont list the name of the company because I dont bash people or companies. Anywho, it seems like everytime my grandparents had trouble with there unit, there was always something bad wrong...meaning there was always multiple things wrong and it just didnt seem right. So I called ECO heating and cooling and they came out pretty fast and they quoted us a different rate and they also stated other things that the previous company said needing to be fixed...after all didnt need to be done... so not only didnt they come out quick...saved us money but also gave us several options we could do for the time being for our budget at the current time. Lastly they were extremely nice and professional, we have had nothing but good experiences with them since. P.S. I normally dont leave reviews so I want have a picture by my review.

Nice selection of pet and fish supplies supplies. Needed some shrimp for my fishtank they had a large selection of glass shrimp and found some fiddler crabs to come home with us. Hopefully nice additions to our tank.

ECO Heating and Cooling are an amazing company. I initially called on July 3rd about 7:00 pm and Cris called me back promptly. He came out within the hour to look at our AC. It wasnt cooling. Chris said our coils were rusted out. Chris put us some Freon in and he gave us options on what we could do. We decided to replace the unit inside and out. Called Chris on Friday and he came out on Monday.We also got an Air Purifier, I have terrible allergies and Chris said that it kills 99% of contaminants. Chris and Adam worked quickly and proficiently, They kept their work space clean. We are up and running. Thank you Chris and Adam for a job well done!

When I contacted Eco, they provided me with a next day appointment. I forgot to get the technicians name, however he was extremely professional and explained what had caused my problem and how he was able to fix it. I will definitely be going with for all my future HVAC needs.

Well they were here about 8, and within 5 minutes they had my air working. They even gave me an estimate on a new system since mine was over 20 yrs old. It was very reasonable. Excellent job fixing what the home builders absolutely screwed up. The rain delayed the process but they always stayed in touch with me and coordinated times to het everything done.

I Wear A C-pap. My white disposable filters in the unit would come out black only after a couple of days. No reason why, either. The a/c fan wasnt on, so I figured there was some other source. It was only after the ductwork and main blower was cleaned out that we noticed a significant change:- The house didnt get as dusty,- my c-pap filter is still white after 2 weeks,- the family is breathing better now.The guys were very courteous and friendly as well as very professional. A bit pricey, but the service was well worth the money. The house is over 50 years old and never had the ductwork cleaned out before

My unit froze up and I called ECO and they were there in an hour. It was on a Sunday so I thought the price would be outrageous but it wasnt. They were very helpful and gone within the hour...Wonderful...will call them if needed again!!!

Because all the quotes from other companies were total upsales!!! We ended up getting an entire new unit just for the simple fact our old unit was just old & to small. But we still saved a lot more then we were ever quoted from any of the other 3 companies. Plus, they REFUSED to let me clean up any mess they made. (Its my house, I can sweep up a little mess, but they wouldnt have that). You cant go wrong with this company. I call myself going to install my own thermostat sense the man at the store said it was easy.....to my surprise me and my 7th month old were about to burn up in this hot house...called Eco Heating and Cooling they said they would be here by 6:00pm they pulled up about 5:45pm and I called for service at 5:00pm...they had us cool by 6:02pm...So one could say I got excellent service and they were very friendly...You better call Eco if that air goes out I know who Ill be calling...Highly recommend😀😎

They did come out within 36 hours of calling them, Told them Fan motor was burned up to be sure to bring a motor,, They asked me to text a pic of the data plate to be sure they had the correct motor. They got it installed about 6:30PM and charged us $450,00 for the repair. I can buy the motor anywhere I checked for $125.00 to $150.00. Thought that was really high. Within 2 hours the new motor burned up and they came back and got another installed by midnight...The new motor did not sound right to me the instant it came on and told the tech it did not sound good.. We left on vacation the next morning. When we returned in 2 weeks the unit was sounding awful. long story short within 5 days of our return the unit stopped cooling got so loud we turned it off. They came by within 3 or 4 hours and said the fan hub was bad, and it was.. the tech left around 4 or 5 PM and said he had one more repair before coming back. He looked for the DATA Plate which was now missing and nowhere to be found... I looked on my phone and still had the picture I had taken so the tech used my phone info .. There was plenty of glue left on the unit and why it was gone is a mystery to me.. It had been there for 12 years before they worked on it... About 9 AM the next morning I called and got a answering machine. Asked them to please up date me on my repair. NO RETURN CALL Called around Dothan to see if I could find a fan and found one for $59.95 .. About 11 AM I called again as Ive herd nothing since the day before. The man who answered said they were waiting on a fan form their supplier in PANAMA CITY, I told him where I found one in Dothan to which he replied We dont deal with them. Before we got off the phone he told me the tech was on his way and would be at my house very soon. Then I thought he said the total cost would be $145.00.. When the tech finished he said they had sent him a text saying I Owed $185.00.. I called the office and questioned this cost, asked what was the cost of a service call and he said $85.00 . Asked why was the fan blade, I could buy for $60.00 costing me $125.00 He replied the extra cost was due to his having to go back to Dothan and make another trip back to my house. I was upset and he got up set also. He told me to pay the tech $145.0 and to NEVER call his phone number again.... I ended up paying $595.00 for a fan motor and fan blade replacement on a unit that probably not worth that much. The parts I could buy for $185.00 total so I figure he made $410.00 + parts markup which I felt was steep enough but he wanted to charge another $40.00. My advice is steer clear or record a cost figure before letting him work on you air system..

We were given the run around by most of our local AC repair and outragous prices to then replace our business AC unit in the warehouse on our property. Eco brought in Chris who then explained the issues and gave us the best service and prices. Now we have a brand new cooled WORKING AC going for our business. We are very pleased! We are very impressed with the job performance of the service technician Chris. He came out at about nine last night and in the dark with only a small flashlight held in his mouth he dismantled and repaired our heat pump in about twenty minutes. that is about thirty minutes less than the estimate i found online of fifty minutes to complete the job. this man could have put us off and went home for the night instead on a saturday night on labor day weekend he did the job extremely competently and in less time than many would have taken in the daylight. we signed up for the annual service plan and we intend to use this company just because of the job performance of one of their professionals. Also i should mention the estimate i found online for the work Eco Heating and cooling did for us was between four and five hundred dollars. our bill for coming out on a saturday night for the job, was three eighty five.

These guys were just the best! I have an elderly family member living nearby Dothan who went to turn on her air conditioner for the first time this year to find it useless. ECO came out a few hours after I called to find out what was wrong with my a/c. They diagnosed the problem within about 30 min & told me they would rush the new fan motor.
