I bring my 87 year old father every other week for groceries and load up on fresh cut meats, cheeses and fruit. We come on Tuesdays and have delicious tacos at the deli for lunch midway through shopping. The staff is so pleasant and professional, very helpful and understanding (my Dad moves pretty slowly) and its always a great experience.

It is such a shame to hear of your closing, but before then let me just say I will miss your produce and meat counter the most. Everything is fresh. The team you have the store is always attentive and helpful.

I was visiting town - the people here are nice - friendly - I felt welcomed and the store is fully stocked - with a hot food department - good fruit and desserts.Wonderful community grocery store.I felt at home.

Great produce and meats. The customer service is good but the prices on some items are high - $3 for example for 8oz of sour cream or $8 for a qt of whipping cream. Additionally, it does not pay to order your groceries online due to the $4.99 fee they add in addition to tax. Otherwise, Food City is a wonderful place to shop for your groceries - it is clean, the produce is inexpensive (and fresh - same thing with the meats) and yes, there are long lines but the cashiers here from my experience are/seem polite just a slow.

I have never had an issue with this store staff is very friendly and helpful. I was there on Saturday December 5th and I wasnt to the office to be told that it was closed but to return around 3:30 - 4:00, I went back at 4:30 and the office was still closed the man in the office was back there and ignored me. He could of had the courtesy to at least acknowledge me or tell me he wasnt going to open back up.

Produce is sometimes worth shopping around for. Check grain cuts on meats. Makes the difference.. Bakery, is great..

I hate the long waits. I usually drive the extra 10inutes rather than wait in one of the two lines they usually have open. Why have express line when you allow 50 items anyway? No wonder they are closing

Wonderful workers there. Fast and friendly and find their produce pretty good. Ive never had to return my fruit there like I do in Walmart.

Food city has one of the best deli services. Mainly for the authintec Mexican American food that is hot and ready to go. Try the carnitas (fried pork) you will not be let down. If your not into burritos ask for a carnitas or asada taco like I said you will not be let down.

Went there looking for something particular that is difficult to find and they had it for much less than any of the other 3 stores that carry it

They have very good specials and prices. Specially in the meat department.

The store seems clean the employees seem friendly however they are not aware of how to use coupons so if youre a couponer this may not be the store for you.

Its a good store. The lines are long but being white I feel comfortable there except in the deli when its open. Food City brand of product is not bad but the price is set according to the economy and for the area its prices are better than is expected especially since there is a Walmart in the town drinking up business resources.

Produce prices are fantastic! Theres an abundance of local and imported fruits as well as an Organic section. Very down-home and most employees are bi-lingual. Their deli foods are cooked fresh. The selection of authentic Mexican foods are delicious..and so are the cakes and pan dulce! Above the shelves are figurines for the house or as gifts, and Pinatas for party fun.

Our experience at Food City was excellent because of Gilbert. He helped is located what we were looking for as well as welving is to the store and introducd himself and said if we ever need anything ask for him. Great customer service 👍

I was very happy with my visit. The cashier saw me pick up a candy bar and advised me of a sale on a bag of candy bars. I know I dont need it but appreciate her going above and beyond.

Found what I needed at this Food City which I could not find over in the Sierra Vista Az store.

If you like dirty fruit and vegetables this is your place. The deli where they sell hot and ready food is infested with flies. DISGUSTING!!!Always only one register open with long lines. This store is in desperate need of a renovation, update, or a couple of swings with a wrecking ball.I have been to cleaner grocery stores across the border in Agua Prieta.

Its a decent place to shop with a nice deli/bakery. The service at the registers is what keeps me from shopping here more often. They never have enough registers so it takes forever to get out of there no matter what your purchasing.

Vegetable and fruit prices are the best in town, watch the weekly sales. Pastry & Deli sections provide a wide assortment. Pork chops, hamburger, and chicken can be bought for under a dollar if you watch the sales.

Place where you can buy products in offer, its clean, they ha e many products, many of them mexican products either, the only problem is that I cant find baby diapers, so I dont know if they sale baby products, they also have cashier of wester union and accept money orders, they have a little options of craft beer and alcoholic drinks, for some stuffs is cheaper tham wal mart but not everithing, nevertheless its a good place to know.

Much better meat prices than Walmart. Vegetables are of better quality also.

One of the most reasonably priced markets in the area. Excellent selection of domestic and exotic produce; only disparity is that the produce only lasts a couple of days, but the roasted green chilies are without peer.

Great Mexican groceries, produce, and meats.

Store has very poor way to enter and leave store when done. Handicap people like me or worse are victims of the one entrance and one exit from store when you pay. If there is an emergency 2 exit doors with lights on top with doors locked 3/4 of he time. To buy a hot meal you have to go all the way to the right side of store and kitchen on left side of store with closes exit door from kitchen locked 1/2 the time. Not a handicap caring place to help the needy to go in and out. Great well filled store and clean. But lets think why is it this way when big stores done provide for entrence and exit they can use in an emergency. I have hit my head numerous time trying to exit Dr with light on top. They said it was going to.stay this way, butwhat happens if somebody gets hurt.

This is the only other place to shop for groceries in Douglas other than Walmart and while it cant compare in inventory, it definitely defeats Walmart hands down in customer service. Ive never had a problem asking someone for help at food city.

It was clean and friendly. Theres even a van to take you home so you dont have to walk with your loot.
