Great sporting store for everything you need for hunting and fishing. Just got me a great 415 crossbow and camouflage hunting gear with extra arrows.

We have loved shopping at Gable for years for hunting and sporting equipment. Wish we would have gone somewhere else for a letterman jacket, though. Their process is mostly verbal - someone talks you through your order and fills out a form for you. You review the form and sign off on it and are given a copy. During our verbal order, we were told it would take 6-8 weeks, so that it would be done in time for our daughters birthday. Turns out, their process takes 10-12 weeks and is even printed on the form (that someone else filled out for us). Had we been told that initially, we would have looked for somewhere else to place the order.

This was an excellent store. They had a great selection and it seemed that everything on the shelf was useful. Its not a huge big box type sporting goods store so they ensured if its on the shelf its a sought after item, no wasted space.

I live in Texas and after calling over 30 gun stores in my state I decided to look online at anyone that has the gun. Gables was literally the only store that had the gun in stock out of 10+ google search pages and literal hours of calling around. I am now a proud customer of Gables and can say that I own a firearm from Gable Sporting Goods. The customer service was exceptional, Blaine Gable helped me and she was amazing. Blaine contacted my local FFL almost immediately and set up everything for me. I will make it a point in my life to someday come down to Georgia just so I can shop here in person. Thank you and I will recommend this place to everyone I know.

The archery department at this store is phenomenal!Especially ANTHONY and CORY.They MUST be commended.Not only are they extremely knowledgable and professional but they are hospitable and hilarious. Their passion for all things archery are an inspiration. Excellent customer service. I cant remember the mans name that fixed my daughters bow but he did an amazing job and was very friendly.

The archery section is not the best I went to get my bow tubes and I got home and shot it one time and the arrow rest just dropped and I had to take it to another bow shop to get fixed. Not the best

A young man by the name of Andrew is a great employee. I usually see him in there everyday I come in. Great guy and takes care of your fire arms and gives a very honest and helpful opinion. An hour ago I didnt even know this place existed. Stopped by just to take a look ended up finding what I was looking for for months. The process was very smooth and prices were fair when everybody else is price gouging because of the shortage. The first salesman was very polite and helpful then Rome helped with technical advices. Will definitely come back if I need anything gun or fishing related.

This place is incredible! The friendliest, most knowledgeable, kindest staff of any similar store Ive ever been in. I mean truly intelligent people work here. They are patient and understanding. Literally stood there and answered every question I had on every gun/item I wanted to see until I was finished. Showed me anything I even asked a question on. Took it out of the case or out from behind the counter immediately without the slightest hint of annoyance even after MANY times. I LOVE THIS STORE AND THEIR STAFF!!

My first visit to this store was a great one. The customer service is awesome and the prices are good. The friendly man in the fishing department got me everything I needed to replenish my tackle box for a new season, including a rod and bait. This will be my go-to in the future. How wonderful to have this store in my community!

Great archery shop with a nice selection of high end quality bows from manufacturers such as Bowtech, Matthews, etc.I purchased my Bowtech RealmX from here and absolutely loved the bow. The pro shop spent quality time with setting up the bow to me specifically. Because of the expertise and customer service I also purchased the Bowtech Reckoning from Gable. The Reckoning is a world class bow worth every penny. With the turn of an allen wrench (No Bow press required) You can adjust string alignment and tune cam lean which I havent had any at all after a year of shooting because of the dead lock system. It really does lock it down. The bow draws back like butter and shoots bullets. I highly recommend it. I also Robin hooded an arrow.

I had been shopping around to find someone who would install my Trijicon HD sights on my Glock 43 and wasn’t having any luck finding anyone with good reviews. I usually do my own mods, but Trijicon recommends professional installation, so I decided to send them an email after getting NO help from Glock in Smyrna. Trijicon sent me a list that included Gables, which I have driven by before, but never thought about stopping in, for whatever reason.I called ahead to make sure they could do the job, which they confirmed, and I stopped by a couple weeks later.First of all, Gables is a nice store. I like the way that it’s laid out and they have a nice selection of all the things that we, as gun enthusiasts, like so much. Their staff was very friendly and helpful. They had my sights installed quickly and for a very reasonable price. I’ll definitely be stopping by more often.

Bought a M&P 15. Everybody was friendly and happily answered all my questions. Store is layed out pretty good. Seemed nice and clean.

Overall the stores inventory is great but as far as the staff a few of them in there need better people skills. I’ve been in there a few times and I’ve felt unwanted or like I’m bothering them if I asked a question. I went in today to ask about a service and had to walk out because I refuse to spend my money there anymore.

They walked my wife through looking for something that fits her small hands and is comfortable twice now without rushing her or making her feel like she was a burden of their time.I know that every penny I spend here goes to good folks, which to me is important....reminds me that I need to bring my bows in for a tune up.

Nice folks, one of the only places near Atlanta that has a legitimate selection of guns and ammo. Ammo shortages are real these days but this place seems to have a lot of popular calibers in stock most times I visit.

I really like small town sporting good places like Gables. The prices are a bit high but thats understandable for the quality of customer service you get. There is a huge selection of uniforms, guns, bows, and hunting supplies. Im very happy to be a customer.

Honest and awesome place where everyone is open and friendly to the customers. I went in for a shotgun pick up that was shipped to store. Rome was a really chill and cool guy and knowledgable about firearms and ammo. I didnt even know they made mini shells until he told me. My second time here I was able to get a modification for my Mossberg 88 just so it could fire mini shells. If I ever have to make any ammo purchases or anything else, Gables will have my money.

I order some shirts and sweatshirts for my son team Langston Hughes High, my order was placed about 3 or 4 months ago. I have yet to receive my order, ihave literallybeen chasing the rep on this account. Spoke with him last Wednesdayhe told me theymisplace my order, but he would have me a shirt to wear for out first game LAST Friday I have yet to hear from him. Hes ignoring my calls, Poor customer, poor communication. I will be asking for a refund today and passing this information to the the Langston Hughes sports department.

Old fashioned sporting goods store. the kind where you find people who really actually understand the stuff theyre selling and can give you the correct information on what you need for all sports including shooting. Bought my first firearm here glad I did, they may not have the bargain-basement prices but what youre paying for is their experience and knowledge in what they sell.

I never review places because I’m never blown away enough and don’t expect much these days.. But 5 stars isn’t enough for Gables. The staff here is as knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful as they come. The stores selection is crazy, it’s hard to walk out without something and for the best price. I drive from cartersville just to come here and buy. I was looking for a new bow and was sold over the phone when I have never even been before. They talk to you as if they are talking to a friend, but always keep it professional. I ended up buying way more than I came for with zero pressure into buying! A hunters dream store. Check it out.

This place has the worst customer service. I ordered products from Gables around two months ago and the products were supposed to arrive 2-3 weeks after my purchase. After the three week mark with still no sign of the products that I ordered, I called gables and explained the situation to them and they said that they would get back to me. A week past and I still haven’t heard from them so I called them again and they told me the same thing. After another month of waiting for these products that were supposed to arrive a month earlier, I called again and they said that they would try and get in contact with the person in charge of my order. Finally, I got a call back the same day and they said that they never placed the order and that I will be getting a full refund because they “don’t know what happened.” I usually don’t write reviews but I am so furious with this company. It took them two months to tell me that they never placed the order which I payed over $100 for. If i never called them so many times about this, i’m pretty sure they would have cheated me out of my money. I know a lot of people who will not be using their services again because this has also happened to them.

These folks know there guns and ammunition. They even have layaway which works out great.I put a shotgun on layaway and went and picked it up on my next payday. They gentleman at the gun counter was very helpful and was able to help me pick my firearm out at a pretty good price. They even did my background check there to which was free and it didnt take very long at all. The only reason I didnt rate 5 stars is because I wish they were closer to my location, lol.Good job guys, yall are awesome.
