I legit love this place. They have been consistently good with their bagels, sandwiches, soups, treats and beverages. I have no complaints and have been coming since they opened.

I enjoy the decadence. (Need hotter coffee in the carafes). Staff is always cool and friendly. The desserts are just gorgeous and tasty.

Normally the food is great, today I ordered a toasted twice bagel with butter. When I got home it was cold and looked to only have been hot enough to melt the butter. The bread was not toasted.Toasted - the browning of bread to add additional tasteWe will be back, but it seems after their change in processes and moved cooking totally to the back it has not been the same.

Nice clean friendly establishment. Bagels are good for the area. They are not a New York bagel but good in a pinch. However. They also have some pastries that look delicious as do the sandwiches they make! Coffee is fresh and they do have indoor and outdoor seating. Its definitely a go try place if your in the mood for some good food.

Stopped in for the first time today. Place was clean, decent menu and prices, and the staff was friendly. Ordered a dozen and the two tub cream cheese deal. The bagels were fresh and care was used in making them. However, even with the two “tubs” of cream cheese is not enough to cover a dozen bagels. I toasted two bagels and just using merely adequate amount of cream cheese on both, the one tub is now less than half full. They whip their cream cheese, which makes it easier to spread, because it’s basically air whipped, making double the volume, but less actual cream cheese. If that’s your thing, you are set. I like my cream cheese heavy and thick, in it’s original form. You use less in it’s original form, even if you like it thick. Buy some Philly cream cheese from your grocery store if you prefer it to be original style and get more for your money. I also purchased veggie cream cheese, also whipped, and not impressed. Large slices of shredded carrots and very little anything else. The bagels themselves were that of an Einstein Bagel. They are soft and great for a sandwich. I’m a pinch, I would go again, and maybe buy a sandwich. I would go to Dunkin’ if I wanted to get another dozen. I personally think they are closer in texture, consistency, and flavor of original bagels.If you are looking for NY bagels, or anything close, this isn’t it.

I discovered The Bagel Meister on my first visit to Douglasville 5 years ago to see my parents. Great bagels and sandwiches! I moved to Douglasville 3 years ago and have visit the shop at least 2-3 times a month ordering a lot of sandwiches for my family or to get lunch. The reason for the less than stellar review is that, on my last two visits I noticed that the none of the staff are wearing masks and that you now have to do your entire order at the counter, where there is no cough shield protecting you or the employee. Is the shop under new management? When the pandemic first hit, the shop was taking a lot of precautions. Now it seems that they dont care. I have grandchildren who cant be vaccinated and I dont want to get exposed to this virus. I wish the shop the best of luck, but Im going elsewhere until the virus is under control.

I took a friend to pick up a Tuna Sandwich and Salad. The Bagel Meister is the Best place for Lunch last year in 2020. Today May 3, 2021 my youngest Son And I enjoyed our Bacon Egg & Cheese Bagels and Oj.

Great food, great staff. I went in not knowing what to order and the staff gave me great recommendations on what to order. I highly recommend the french dip, the roast beef is cooked perfect and the au jus is is super flavorful. Ill definitely come back and everyone should give this place a try at least once.

Just ordered a bacon egg and cheese via DoorDash The eggs weren’t even real eggs. They were circular and barely filled the bread. I could’ve just gotten Dunkin’ Donuts for much less and the same quality instead of paying 8.49 for a sandwich and almost $7 for delivery (taxes and fees)

I ordered a BE&C Garlic Bagel with double bacon. While getting 2 slices of bacon could be seen as an over sight (I know that two slices isnt double bacon. The egg you guys use is gross! Its frozen egg patties. That might have been ok, but the sandwich was cold. I know they were busy, but that would tell me everything will be fresh. Not so much. Thats why I gave the 3 stars. This experience was 🤷🏼‍♂️meh🤷🏼‍♂️.

Everytime I visit The Bagel Meister, the staff seems to be enjoying their shifts and in great moods. It might seem like an odd thing to point out but I personally prefer to give business to places where employees seem to be genuinely happy as opposed to faking it while on shift.As to their menu, Ive only ever get bagels but those never disappoint. Ive seen some of the sandwiches and they look like theyre just as high quality but Ive never had one myself to say one way or the other.

The bagel and cinnamon bun were 5 star but the coffee, for a store that should have good coffee, was pretty much on the bad to disgusting range.

I ordered the steak and egg and holy jalapeno.The bagels were good and your staff was friendly, but the rest of the sandwich was just.... lacking. When looking at the menu I was very excited to see how these were going to look and taste. The roast beef and turkey sausage was the same color and both had no flavor. All the flavor was in the spreads. The eggs were also off putting. For a $6 sandwich I wasnt expecting yellow McDonalds eggs. Good luck in the future and Ill most likely stop in if Im craving a bagel and cream cheese.

They also have wonderful daily specials that are very affordable. The staff is helpful and friendly and the restaurant is impeccably clean! Oh did I mention they are actual NEW YORK BAGELS AND HOMEMADE CREAM CHEESE! Dont miss out on the asiago bagels, with Ramano-garlic cream cheese and the very unique (and wonderful) tree hugger cream cheese! They have a diverse sandwich menu with all the standards but also fun options like a Miami Cuban, Jamaican Jerk, and an amazing French Dip! Basically, theyve got it all! If you havent tried it yet, what are you waiting for??? Dont forget they also do fantastic catering! Look at this tray of breakfast pastries and bagels they made for me! Yum yum!

Order a bacon, egg, and cheese on a plain bagel. Bagel was good;cheese, melted by microwave; egg, seemed artificial or from a carton; bacon, unimpressive and bland but not boiled so it could have been worse.I will return but will skip the proteins.

I just discovered this place this morning, what a great breakfast I had with my grand daughter. We had the toasted croissant with ham, egg and cheese! And toasted croissant with bacon and cheese!! Thumbs up!! Delicious! And the friendly fast service was awesome!

Bagels are good, the service was great today, and I picked up some rolls. A tad pricey but its worth it.Edited to add: Upon reviewing the owners response to my original review (see above), I feel it was a tad passive aggressive considering my review was 5 stars and almost completely positive and it has turned me off from returning to this store. P.S. sometimes the truth hurts.

These are the best bagels around. My daughter prefers Bagelicious in East Cobb, but those bagels are chewy (which she says is New York style) and I prefer a bit crunchier on the outside and a bit fluffier on the inside. I also think the flavors are great at Bagel Meister. Its worth the drive!

The bagels are good, but the staff is incompetent. How do I order an iced coffee and get told to put ice in the cup for the worker, who for the record, is half wearing their mask below the nose. I also had to repeat my name four times for the worker who still got it wrong. Im extremely annoyed. Anyways ... be back soon, since this is the only good bagel place in town.

Come to Douglasville, GA!I was astonished when I ordered a lox bagel at The Bagelmeister and found that the ingredients were super-generous. Most places use a thin layer of cream cheese, a bit of onion and capers, one tomato slice, and one small slice of lox. This one was different!A large bagelThick cream cheeseLots of capers and red onionAt least two tomato slices (I forgot to count)Two or 3 slices of loxDuplicated on each bagel half!Service was friendly and warm. The sandwich was delicious and filling, and gave me the nostalgic memory of my grandmother like no other had done since I had one at Katzs Deli in NYC.I just went there again and got the same wonderful setup. The bagels are great, and the staff is friendly. I’m deducting a star because of two reasons. First, I have never seen any staff members actually go clean a table. And I can tell from the pushed back chairs and crumbs that others have eaten there. If you’re gonna allow dine-in, it is your responsibility to clean the tables regularly. Especially this day and time. Another thing, there is a FedEx driver that comes in every day and he is the only customer who comes in the store and does all his business (take-out) without wearing a mask and making no effort to social distance. This actually has kept me from going there more often. This is on the staff, who must insist that customers wear masks except when seated at a table eating. And the response from the owner is also somewhat misleading. While its true you cannot force anyone to wear a mask, you can definitely ask them to refrain from patronizing your establishment if they refuse to comply with your posted mask policy and thus jeopardize the safety of other patrons. I also notice the owner did not bother to address my first issue, which is the non-cleaning of tables. Probably could not think of a good enough sounding excuse.

I frequently visit Bagel Meister but today will be the last. I ordered a Tuna Melt on a bagel. The cashier informed me that its too messy and really needs to be on bread. I have been ordering this same thing for years now. I told him that I still wanted it on a bagel. I mean your a bagel shop, I wanted my sandwich on a bagel. He then turned around to the cook apologized to him for my order saying he knows its going to suck and hes sorry! All while Im standing right there and can hear everything. If thats the case. Why not offer to ask me to serve it open faced or not pressed, I am a regular customer. I am pretty easy going. Dont talk about me. Very unprofessional. I am in customer service and food service.

The bagels here were OK, but not even close to being in the top 10 of amazing bagels Ive had in a life time. If you need a bagel fix, this is a great little stop. My biggest complaint is that the cream cheese has more of the flavor and consistency of a whipped butter than a cream cheese spread. The place seems clean. The staff was present, not the most customer focused, but they were not rude. Kind of a blah visit here. But, it satisfied the craving for a bagel.

I cant get over how much I love this place! They always get my very complicated order correct and Ive never had a bad experience here.

I cant believe that it took me so long to try this place! Ive past this place more than 100 times in the 15+ years that Ive lived in West Georgia and never stopped in. Then one day at the station one of the firefighters I work with mentioned it, so I have it a try. Now Im mad at myself! Everything I have tried has been so good; my personal favorite though, an Asiago bagel with garlic and Romano smear. The Meister iced coffee is the best iced coffee on the planet!

Ive been going here for a couple years now and the staff are always polite and hard working. The sweets are delicious and the coffee is AMAZING. By far the best coffee in Douglasville. Its a small business so you have to take in the shop and its collective atmosphere while your food is prepared. Enjoy the moment and refill your coffee before you go!

Went in today to order a plain bagel w/egg & turkey sausage. That was the driest, most unattractive sandwich I’ve ever gotten from them. I’ve ordered this several times in the past for my husband & he said “todays order was the worst”! BM is not good like they used to be. They have definitely fallen off with their presentation of food.

Ive lived in Douglasville for some time now and today was my first time visiting Bagel Meister, and Ive come to the conclusion, that Ive been missing a true Jewel, this place was great, the ambiance was nice and inviting, it was clean and customer service was great. The quality of the food is obvious, the freshness is top notch and rare, especially in todays food industry. Great bagels, spreadable cheese to go on them, outstanding coffee and awesome service.

OK bagels if you like the fluffy bread type and not the northeastern traditional firm boiled Jewish traditional type. Service is slow with a 40 foot serving area and 6 feet dedicated to prepping bagels (I have never seen anyone touch all the coffee stuff on the rest of the counter). 10 minutes for a bagel from the bin, not tosted, with cream cheese and lox. Tasty stuff and I have been back many times, but never swing by if I am in a hurry or want easy parking.

I love this place! The bagels are always fresh. The Kona and Island Sunrise are my favorite coffees that they serve. The prices are fair. I love that if you bring your own cup you only pay the price of a refill. The customer service is always fast and friendly. Theyre never out of anything and the store is always clean.

The owner is very nice. Her name is Mrs. Diane. They have a variety of bagels and cream cheese flavors. Different treats that sit at the front counter. Their sandwich selection is small but they make great sandwiches overall. I definitely recommend this place. I myself have gone many times and enjoy going.
