I have been going to just the thing for 20 years at least and it’s my all time favorite store for my self and buying gifts for friends and family. Susan and her staff are super sweet and wonderful at helping anyone find a special gift or help them with ideas for items that would work in the spaces at home. Very few stores now a days have that kind of service and caring for their customers, and I will keep going in on a regular basis to see what new items have been brought out to the floor. Bored, as I walked the house, I decided to take in some shopping online, until I saw the Facebook post on Just the Thing! These gorgeous chairs will complete my dining room table, and when our lives return to the new normal, we will be ready for a long-awaited gathering with our family. Susan was so gracious and displayed the chairs in the window for us to take a closer look through the glass. SOLD! Dont shop online, shop in town, and get the best customer service around! ~Cindy & Chris

I had purchased an item at anantique sale and discovereda piece missing when opening at home . Calling the sellerbrought no response. I went toJust the Thing having purchased similar items from them. They were able to finda replacement piece and refused to charge me. Whilethere I found two lovely gifts.

I visit from California every year and stop in here to pick up gifts for my friends. I have purchased a couple water color paintings and some interesting folk art. I think for an inexpensive place to pick up a little something for family and friends this is a good place. Additionally they do have some one of a kind furniture items. Cabinets, tables, and chairs. Its worth a look.

Just the Thing is a wonderful store in downtown Dover. Filled with antique items as well as handmade arts and crafts, Just the Thing might actually have that special something youve been looking for. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Im always amazed at the size and variety of inventory. Its a small storefront but dont let looks deceive you. The store is on two floors and has multiple rooms of goods. Always happy to visit as things are always coming in.

I love to come here and browser. Always something new and different. Prices ranger high and low, so something for everyone. Always unique.

The best vintage shop around. Amazing prices, great staff... let’s not forget Maggie, the most wonderful shop dog. I am a customer for life. A reason to go to Dover any time. The store changes weekly. Displays are magical. I have found many gift wares here and have furnished my home with many unique pieces.

Thumbs up. Alot of home cozy stuff that seems to be all the days for hominess, but some other nice finds and really goo eclectic furniture and furnishings that are not in the modern marketplace, and a bit of local craftsmanship.

Didnt really get to look around completely but from what I did see, such a nice mix of handmade and antique items... Cant wait to go back and slowly explore it more.

Truly a Dover destination anchor store.The store hosts a variety of sellers displaying a wide range of vintage and found objects, and furniture with an eclectic nostalgia, vintage, refurnished, and worth a browse weekly because the things change regularly and are displayed in variety of ways.Has the feel of a great vintage fair but with air conditioning and no dirt under your feet.

I could go here daily and find new things that I love and want. I have so many unique things in my home that I found here. The store could not be more accurately named. You actually do find Just the Thing you are looking for.

First time in this gem of a place....bought a beautiful red corner cabinet....and got to meet THE sweetest dogs ever!! We will definitely be back!!

This is a great store if you like antiques and unusual stuff this is the place to go and the staff were very good.
