I had no idea how bad my other knives were until I got a Warther Cutlery Knife. A beautiful piece of quality American craftsmanship. If you are driving by on 77, they have a cool shop with products made on site.

Beautiful, long time local knife and wood product manufacturer. Great customer service. Clean store with lots of other kitchen products. These are great knives with free sharpening for life. I have used these knives for over 30 years and they are still in wonderful shape. The wood handles stay beautiful if you keep them out of the dishwasher.

Awesome place, amazing knives. Really cool people. I really enjoyed the big knife In the middle of the display room, i had to resist the urge to try and pick it up. Maybe if you pull it out of the cutting board they name you king of knives? That would be cool!

Great knives for sure. Its really nice that they have a display of all their knives where you can get a feel for them.The store is very nice as well, lots of nice accessories and very little kitschy junk. Their offering of cutting boards is quite extensive and they look as well made as their knives.

Excellent source of high quality cutlery. We had 2 of ours sharped for free, had a pairing knife that broke that they replaced for free and bought a second tomato slicing knife.

My Great Grandmother gave or left us a Pairing knife that hasnt been sharpened since She had it back in the the 1920s so for almost 100 years havent sharpened it ever & it still cuts as if it was brand new.... 😎😎 I am very happy with this knife & would like to get my hans on a set of knives hoping to pass them down to my great grandchildren along with the knife I have had since the 1920s I am including 4 pictures of my knife hope you like it... I mean looks so different from all the other knives that are on this site...

I would give 5 stars for the quality of the cutlery but this 1 star rating is for service. I thought I bought and paid for a particular knife after talking extensively to the sales clerk about the knife. However after arriving back home and opening up the box it was the wrong knife. I understand mistakes can happen. But there were few customers in the store and the clerk was well aware of the knife I was purchasing. Maybe more training is required of their staff, like opening up the box to confirm to the customer EXACTLY what they are purchasing. I should not be expected to verify that the salesclerk did her job correctly. And when I call to point out their mistake I dont expect to hear accidents happen. Now I have to drive 1 1/2 hours back to the store to get the CORRECT knife and now know that its MY responsibility to make sure they got it right!

This place is a gem, I grew up near here and Mooney would make us pliers when we were kids, we would break them and he would make us another set. I wish I had all those pliers now.His artistry and attention to detail are amazing. The knife shop on premises are also a plus. I still use the knives my parents/grandparents used along with my newer pieces.This is a must see if you are in the area.

If you want high quality cutlery and related products this is the place to go. I would highly recommend taking the Warther Museum tour while youre there.

Warther Cutlery is the finest kitchen cutlery I have ever owned. All the knives are hand-crafted from the best quality steel and the finest hardwoods the family-owned company can buy. The knives are expensive, but they are worth far more than they cost. I absolutely love my serrated knives and my 9 large kitchen knife. If you dont have Warther knives in your kitchen, you should get some immediately. If possible, go to the factory in Dover and tour the excellent museum while you are there.

Awesome place for knives. I have had them for years. Expensive but with the free sharpening you will have them forever. They hold the edge too. In 20 yes only had them sharpend three times.

I cut meat at the local Texas Roadhouse. I use Warthers to get my knives sharpened. Very friendly place, a lot of neat stuff and I love the selection of knives they have. I have a few of the Warthers knives I use at work. Very durable.

Beautiful little place! A little pricey and they dont offer a military discount but if your interested in woodworking or this families history youll enjoy it
