Where to Begin,The website states the hours of operation From 10:00 am to 9:00pmMonday through Saturday, and 11:00am to 6:00pm Sunday. I arrived at the store on a Saturday to another waiting customer, and the Gates Closed. Mind you its approximately 10:10am. At approximately 10:30 a female employee (Kayla) arrives. When I inquired as to why the store is opening late, her demeanor was indignant, and abhorrent. She was flippant in her response stating that The stores hours of operation on the website are wrong and that its not her problem. She then went about the business of leaving the location, only to return about 15 minutes later to dawdle about the tiny store. She purposefully waited until Exactly 11:00 on her phone before allowing myself, and the other waiting customer into the store. When I asked her what her name was, she initially ignored me.Upon making a purchase she remained stone faced and bothered that I questioned the store opening late. Upon further inquiry she stated that she is in fact a Manager at This location. I contacted Corporate which, while pleasant offered a canned response as to their employees conduct. I would travel farther north to The Christiana location to avoid the seemingly disgruntled Hat seller in Dover. She has zero business operating as a manager in a retail outlet. Corporate did in fact acknowledge that the hours of operation on the website are wrong, and that it would be corrected.
I came to the Dover mall lids a few days ago, after running to so many different stores trying to find my son his hat for his birthday. I was lucky enough to have come when the store manager was there, Kayla, she was extremely helpful in helping me find the correct size for my sons head and we also got his name put on the sides of them and they came out fantastic. I live in Wilmington and I’ll only drive to Dover to get my sons hats just because of her customer service, great job Kayla, my son loved all 4 of them thank you!
Smallest lids Ive ever been to personally. Very few white hats with flat brims (5 total maybe). All had dirty brims except 1 (not a team I wanted). Went with a Heather Grey hat instead.
