Small coffee shop but lots to offer. Espresso is great and scone is probably the best Ive had so far. Prices are reasonable as Ive paid a little over $6 for the scone and espresso. Coffee shop is a little tight on space but is comfortable to have a quick bite.

Partner got hazelnut frappe and raved endlessly about it on the drive home. Easily one of the best coffee shop experiences for them. What I got was less exciting, only because I didnt understand how bitter it was going to be. I consider this to be user error, especially since staff gave sugar to be added after. The white chocolate isnt sweet!Seriously though, the goodness of this coffee prompted the sharing of multiple childhood memories and at least 40 minutes of conversation. We will be back and I highly recommend.

The breakfast sandwiches are awesome. Coffee is great. My wife loves the blueberry tea. One of our favorite breakfast stops.

Every time I walk into Mud & Char and see my homies behind the bar,they put a smile on my face. This is most definitely my favorite place.The two men I see there the most, never fail to make the perfect morning roast.With a selection of tea so immaculate, the Starbucks down the street aint adequate.Flinging ingredients on bagels faster than menopausal women doing kegels,slapping patties on the grill, so quick, they give Spongebob shoes to fill.Yet they always get my order right, so now this poem I must recite,about the best café around, a place where no employee has ever clowned,and all of the PTA moms flock, knowing theyve got the best coffee on the block.

Its great to finally have a local coffee shop relatively close to where I live! I didnt get a chance to try any of their food, but my latte and my wifes roasted latte were very good. My son lives hours bagel and cream cheese. Definitely going to go back sometime.

The $6 cold brew didnt impress me too much. I wouldnt come to this place to study since the music is loud, the espresso machine is screeching, and there isnt much space between you and the other patreons. I had to put ear plugs in and then head phones over my ears and blast study music. Also, when youre at the tables against the wall, you can feel vibrations from the other tables. There are some outlet plugs scattered across the walls. Its a cute, cozy cafe, but not to study and not for cold brew - so it doesnt suit my needs, but maybe yours!Update: Lowered my rating by 1 star - I had to leave because the music was blaring. I couldnt even talk to someone halfway across the room.

The suburbs are lacking in places like this. While a bit pricy for the meals, the food is delicious.I had the lox bagel with my fiancé and I loved every bite of it. The only downside to this place is that it closes early. I’d love for this to be a place to come in in the evening and have a good work hour with a cup of coffee. I hope this place gets more traction and they can extend the hours!

Favorite place for third-wave coffee. Good selection of whole beans for home brew, and great in house brew choices and specialty drinks. Always worth stopping by when I need a fix.

Moving back to neighborhood and found this gem. Recently Ive been dairy free and do they have options. They also have this pudding with chia seeds and coconut milk thats so 😋. I wish the place was little bigger but it is so cute.

Mud and Char is a wonderful place to grab a quick cup of coffee or hang out for a nice breakfast/lunch with a friend. Staff are friendly! Menu steers towards the healthy brunch options. They also have some nice sweet loaves and scones for purchase. Kombucha on tap.

I ordered an Americano and their classic breakfast wrap. The food was so good and the ingredients tasted Super Fresh. Here on opening day and it seems like it will be my regular spot. Great atmosphere makes you relaxed well your heart rate goes to blast with the great coffee!

Tried the Lavender Latte, it had a very nice flavor. It wasnt too sweet and had a wonderful aroma. Also, had the Elvis toast of the week. It was so delicious! It had the perfect blend of sweet and salty. I would definitely recommend stopping to check out Mud and Char. Very welcoming staff and relaxing atmosphere!

Just moved to the area and are trying to find a new coffee spot and this might be it! Very modern aesthetic and great coffee. I liked that they had a variety of sugar free syrups and a variety of milk options for their drinks. I also tried their veggie egg cup/quiche and coffee cake an both were enjoyable. This place is sort of a hidden gem since it is located in a strip mall but dont pass it up. They also had an electronic oregon trial game that kept the 90s kid in me very entertained.

Kinda expensive as could be expected but its a refreshing, clean and just a nice place to grab some breakfast. Kinda like Starbucks but has a greater focus on the food aspect. The people working there are really nice and its a really interesting and cool place to go to. The bagels are lil baby bagels and you get just one and that was really my only complaint

Delicious ginger chai kombucha, cozy and welcoming space

This is one of the best food and coffee places Ive been in the suburbs. I ordered their loaded lox and was able to sample two of their power bowls and they are seriously amazing. Theyve only been open this week at this point and I am shocked because they are organized and delicious and had more than I could imagine!! Their lattes are also BOMB

Had a friend meet me here instead of our usual coffee shop, it was great! I ordered a Chai latte and a slice of their homemade quiche. Its tiny, but there are plenty of places to sit and relax. (and yes there are highchairs!) definitely accessible for everyone (large very clean bathroom is a definite +)

I dont drink coffee but the wife does and seemed to like it and they had self serve cold water which was fine for me. nice place to sit and relax in the morning with a bite to eat. saw people coming in and looks like they ordered and paid online, not sure but this was our first trip so we went in and sat. like it better than a sit down breakfast place. limited menu but good options and reasonable prices.

This place is amazing. Blows every coffee place out of the water. They also have some of the best quick breakfast options I’ve ever had. Try the chocolate but butter bowl! The bagels are sooo good too. I wish I could give this place 10 stars. And the family who runs is so kind also. MUST TRY.

The espresso macchiato was delicious. The caramel cafe latte was really good as well. I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and sipping my coffee in this modern decor setting.

I get black iced tea everywhere I go and theirs was brewed just right, strong flavor but not over steeped. All the food we tried was great and the staff were very friendly. I will be going back.

Mud and Char has a good system for social distancing. Order inside then step outside and they will bring your order to you, or call ahead and have it brought out curbside.

Probably the only place within miles that serves decent espresso. All the chains use burnt dark roast which I hate. These guys have drinkable espresso that is full of actual coffee flavors and does not taste like charred and carbonized coffee beans. I dont know about their fluff drinks but espresso or macchiato is good.

You know when you go to Starbucks and you order a vanilla latte and it tastes like syrup with a hint of coffee? This place puts the coffee first. Really pleased with this place its very comfortable and the staff was very nice.

Very good coffee! I only have one complaint - please change the type of ice you use. I love iced coffee and your shop uses crushed ice. By the time I got back to my car - the ice was all melted and my iced coffee was also luke warm/watered down. However, the person I was with got a hot vanilla latte, and that was excellent.

Its legit, I come for the nut butter bowl. Argonated cold brew is awesome, think nitro but with argon gas - smooth. I keep coming but the place is expensive though.

Their coffees are really good and they have a good selection of lattes. Im having a nutella latte today. Great tea selection too. The sho itself is cozy and welcoming. Staff is always so friendly! Barely awake, didnt have at least 3 things I tried to order. Ordered Bagel with cream cheese and salmon, got only cream cheese. Too bad was too far, would of given it to sleepy staff for breakfast that barely know how to take care of a costumer. Very disappointed.Will not come back!
