I stop here once in a while for breakfast with my dad! They have a beautiful outdoor patio for nice days and the waitresses are always friendly, quick, and helpful. Breakfast is delicious with lots of options. Fluffy eggs, huge omelettes, hot and yummy. I usually get two breakfasts out of the portions, well worth the price! Highly recommend the skillet potatoes, crispy not oily.
Terrible! This is the second chance I gave them with my salad, a few months ago the salad was wilty, this time, its iceburg lettuce, very little other vegetables and an inch of water under the salad! Same with my husbands salad and the chicken is so dry! Never going there or ordering from there again..
Nice clean little diner. Has an extensive menu but due to worker shortage not everything is available. I had a roast beef sandwich with fries and cream of chicken and rice soup. The soup was excellent. The sandwich was tasty and filling and I had a good helping of fries. My friend had a Greek salad with chicken and pita bread. He Thought the salad was good and the salad dressing tasted homemade. Our meal came with 4 slices of bread. Very good meal...highly recommend Downers Delight.
Good food and good service but nothing above and beyond. While in the suburbs it was a nice stop on our trip for a quick bite to eat and a place to sit and gather your thoughts on the coming day. Good location but interior is slightly outdated and the menu is too large. Downers Delight was a good stop and 3 stars should not be taken as an insult but unless passing by I won’t be making an effort to stop in again.
Conveniently located mid-size restaurant with an extensive menu. Full size portions that fill you up. Friendly staff. Clean dinning areas. Huge parking lot with easy access to the main road. Located near shopping options.
Amazing breakfast. I always recommend the saganaki or baked French onion soup and the skillets are GREAT. I come basically weekly.
Great food and great service. Been here several times, recently just visited with 15 people and they were very understanding with seating and ordering as well. Will continue to keep visiting. All of the food they serve there is really good and they even are accommodating for people with food allergies.
The food was absolutely amazing! Im sure if we ate it in the restaurant, the waffles wouldve been crispy, but unfortunately it got soggy once I got home! The rest of the food was so amazing and the omelet was delicious. Definitely going here next time and would recommend this place!!
The cappuccino is BETTER than Starbucks! AND they made a beautiful heart shape too. Waitress was nice n friendly, huge servings, lots of excellent choices and soup was great. My daughter and I Loved everything.
When we go out for breakfast this is abou t the only place we consider these days.Today we tried their mimosas for the first time. We now have another reason to come here. Their mimosas were VERY GOOD.
I rarely post reviews.It has probably been before Covid that I brought my grandson to breakfast here and remembered it to be a great place. Took my grandson back recently. The food was fine but no one we dealt with was minimally friendly or pleasant to deal with. From the gentleman up front (maybe the owner or manager), to the lady who seated us, to the waitress. I will not go back, there are plenty of restaurants to go to who act like they want and appreciate your business.

Downers Delight is a place with a comforting atmosphere to have a meal. I went for breakfast, and was served warm, good French Toast and bacon. The service is excellent too. Even when its busy one gets seated and served rather quickly. In short, this is a great place for a quick bite of comfort food.

Found this restaurant by chance Being an hour away from home.The food and service was so great We would drive the distance to go back!My eggs on my skillet were literally perfect! cooked exactly how I asked. Fresh oj is amazing... Mimosa even better 👍
Great food very good prices, great staff,they make you feel like family very clean dining area and handicap washrooms also kept very clean and handicapped parking spaces outside. My experience was wonderful dining there they have a large menu to pick from and breakfast, lunch, and dinner at anytime is great for me. I cant leave out the deserts here they are all wonderful. I am handicapped and in a wheelchair and this is my favorite place to go for anytime meal they always treat me like family.

I have to say one of THE BEST BREAKFASTS I have ever had! The eggs were so fluffy I had to say out loud after every bit how fluffy the eggs were... haha Full multi page menu so there is a little bit of everything and something for everyone!! I’ve been coming here for years and can honestly say I have never had a bad meal here at all, now the service sometimes can be scarce. I will still continue to support this place, but just wish they would hire better servers, excellent food though!

Decent service and food. Our server was great, but the other staff (cashier and hostess) weren’t very friendly. They were short and quick with us when we called to see if they were open for dine-in and when we arrived. Then they totally ignored us when we left. This was my husband and I’s first and last time eating here.

Well my Father ate here twice a week for many years and he never had a single bad meal. He always had the nicest thing to say about the food.. when Im in town I stop for lunch and have the chopped serlion and split pea soup..its awesome and worth every dollar.. they have outdoor patio thats pet friendly with leash

A very substantial menu with a few vegetarian options, which are very hard to find. The restaurant was clean and the food was very good. The waitress we had was very attentive and funny as well. Prices are reasonable. Will go back.

We really enjoyed ourselves at Downers Delight 10/25/20!! Kinga, our waitress made us feel so very welcome and the food good especially the french toast and skirt steak. Very flavorful 😋.I can not wait to come back!
The waitress I had was the best I didn’t know what I wanted and she asked how hungry we were and I told her starving she recommended the meatloaf or stuffed pepper so I ordered the stuffed peppers I was shocked by the size. This restaurant is well worth the time and money they are not cheap on servings like some other places I’ve been.

This was an excellent food experience but horrible service. After the waiter delivered food to me and my boyfriend she came back not upon request and threw ketchup packets straight into my food. My boyfriend got the take-out food boxes thrown into the food that he was currently eating at the time. She also gave us the check with our food being delivered at the same time. So we honestly felt that we were rushed out of the restaurant. Bad experience with service but great food.
I haven’t been to this restaurant in over 6 years, and I was lucky to come back today and the food was just as amazing and delicious. Family owned business with good respectful people and staff! Well worth it!!!! Keep going strong!
