I visited this place recently. Wonderful and fresh ice creams. I loved the orange pineapple, blackberry flavor.

Every cute store. Plenty of ice cream flavors to pick from.Great milk selection. Also some very wonderful food items to pick from. Apple crisp, banana breads, pears and peach pastries. Service was very kind and attentive.

Awesome place to bring kids to see what a real dairy farm looks like. Big cows, smelly compost, the real deal 😂 Farm store has great selection, including ice cream made on site.

Warren and his crew do a great job and put out some very tasty products .we both a nice rich creamy ice cream cone and a very nice root beer float .ypu could tell from the first sip that the ice cream and root beer were of great quality. Unlike most places they give you a full size float and also the remainder of the rootbeer .the root beer and ice cream I believe are made in house and the taste it !!Rich and creamy like old fashion ice cream stand should taste .I would highly recommend this for a stop in .and also did I mention the retail store that had so many delicious looking offerings.

Actually closes at 9:00 PM in the summer. Absolutely fabulous ice cream. Many flavors to pick from; maybe too many (see photo of list). This is really a dairy farm selling their own dairy. Great variety of milk variations including organic. It s exactly what you want this kind of place to be.

This is a great place to take the kids for an ice cream. The ice cream is freshly made right at Shaws farm and is delicious. There are plenty of places to eat it too. There is a giant farmers porch with a bunch of rocking chairs and several picnic tables out back by the cow pen. The shop inside is great too. Its filled with a lot of local foods. Local meats, pies, bakery items, milk, pizza, you name it. Our favorite place for an ice cream for sure!

Awesome place to get Milk and Egg Nog.

The woman who spoke to me on the phone was very rude, if I was the manager I would honestly have her terminated. Homophobia apparently is part of this places employee handbook, do not recommend this place. They need to hire people who are not a rude and unkind to speak to. Fix this.

My first time going and it was an awesome, warm, and cozy place. The staff was super friendly. There are three tables inside to sit. Two of my friends and I shared a banana split that was very delicious and like 8.50 Also heads up on their amazing strawberry flavored ice cream it is not pink.

Drive a few short miles outside of the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution, and the smoke stacks are suddenly replaced by silos and the concrete by lush green fields. It is in the town of Dracut that one can discover the last operating dairy farm in the greater Lowell area. Shaw Farm has been producing milk for over a century, but only began to sell its ice cream from a seasonal stand in 1999. Ice cream cones are best eaten at one of the outdoor picnic tables, just a stones throw from the farms bovine residents.

Little farm store that has an ice cream window. They have pies and baked goods as well as fresh, local milk and local meats and products. Pot pies, too. Its a fun little stop.

Excellent, the milk is how I remembered getting it when our grandfather would take us to the dairy farm in Pennsylvania. My two and half year old grandson loved seeing the cow and drank half a quart of milk before his nap. Every staff member we came into contact with was polite and encouraged us to go see the animals. Social distancing was followed. We will visit again.

Honestly the best ice cream around! I love the farmers market store inside with all the local Faire. People rave about the milk and I also love that they carry Doms Steak Tips! The one downfall to ice cream is the it is cash only. ATM is provided and all debit and credit is accepted inside the store.

I have to say the milk from Shaw Farm is amazing! In comparison to the local grocery stores dairy products I easily notice the difference. I have been meaning to come write this review since my last visit because that young man in the front left a lasting impression he was so polite and enthusiastic! Amazing customer service, a lot of good products here definitely will be returning

Best ice cream Ive ever had. They sell it by the quart and half gallon. I make a special trip pretty much every week just to get some. And their chocolate milk is ridiculous and there pastries and baked goods are second to none. Highly recommend you pay this place a visit.

Shaws has lots of TASTY flavors, made fresh with milk from their own cows. Prices are fair for hand-scooped ice cream. The picnic tables out back/beside give a good view of the goat pen. When the wind is blowing the right way, you know youre on a farm.

Ive been going to Shaw Farm for 3 years now the milk is incredibly delicious,everyone is so nice and so polite especially a gentlemen Very tall..dark complexion and has a beard he is so nice and very helpful and so attentive in what i wanted and answered my questions that I had..Keep up the good work if i can give 10 stars i would but its only 5❤️

Ice cream year round! I went in quick for some milk and snacks and they have your typical whole milk and chocolate, but also strawberry and BANANA. I have never seen banana milk. it was delicious. They have some meats and pot pies too, but I didnt have time to look. Oreo ice cream was great. Kids thought so too. Oatmeal raisin cookies were good. I will be back.

The milk is extremely fresh and delicious, and the kids love the fact that they allow the public to go in to the barn where the cows live to view the animals up close. Very fun and cool place to check out, and they even deliver milk to local surrounding communities, which I love due to the old-school farm community feel it reminds me of.

Great food, ice cream

Shaw farm has come a long way from what it used to be. Many years ago I would come here to the old shop and grab a few quarts of non-homogonized milk and some ice cream. Now they are a full fledged country store and ice cream stand. They still have some of the freshest milk around, their milking barn is right across the street (right behind the old shop, their slogan was if you dont believe its fresh ask to see the cows). They have an ice cream stand outside, and a window inside with a few tables inside too for extra hot days. Walking up you would think its just any old Ive cream shop but the difference is their ice cream is made with milk from their cows. They have a very large selection of ice cream too. Inside the country shop you can buy their milk in the standard varieties (skim, whole, 2%) and even non-homogenized so the cream rises to the top. They also have chocolate, strawberry and banana. They sell their ice cream in prepacked quarts and half gallons in a wide variety of flavors, including frozen yogurts. There is a large selection of local goodies inside too from produce, to snacks, frozen pizza, chicken pies and many other goodies. Well worth the trip, and they are conveniently located in Dracut, so not far off in the boonies where you might expect a dairy farm to be. This is a local family owned business (the owners live right next to the milking barn) employing local people too, so you can feel good knowing when you do here you are helping sorry the community.

Im 50 years old and I have been coming here since I was a small child. I live hundreds of miles away and still get here 2 or 3 times a year. Quite possibly the best ice cream on the planet. Fresh milk sold across the street from the cows that produced it. The only egg nog that I like.I love Shaw Farm and Im so glad they are still around.

The best ice cream Ive ever had! I was in town for a hockey tournament. I went back three times for the ice cream, get your ice cream in a waffle cone!! They really good chocolate milk in glass bottles that you can return inside their little market. They also have amazing apple cider donuts! Across the street is their farm where you can see their cows and goats. Shaw farms is a wonderful place. I wish I had a place like this closer to home.

Great selection of flavors, nice, quiet setting with some animals across the street. I love that there are rocking chairs that you can sit in while you enjoy your ice cream. Also, theres a little shop here that sells prepacked ice cream to make it easier to stock up your freezer, as well as other food items to bring home. It was a cute little market, unexpected and very nice!
