Ive been super impressed with Dive Addicts training and shop. They offer an impressive array of classes and I was very impressed with the instruction I received. The instructor was very knowledgeable and patient. He ensured that not only could we execute good technique, but we understood why we did things in that way. Ive taken classes elsewhere, but Dive Addicts training seemed much more modern and up to date than training Ive received elsewhere. Ill definitely be returning for more classes.The shop is great too; they have impressive inventory and pricing with knowledgeable staff that helped me figure out what equipment will best meet my needs as a diver.

I did my scuba certification through dive addicts with my sister! Very pleased with my experience and my instructor! Dallas was patient and answered all and any questions I had! I have already recommended this shop to my friends! They went above and beyond!

I have mixed emotions about my certification experience. As someone who is quite afraid of water and not a strong swimmer, this was a big deal for me. On our first night I expressed my fear of water and my lack of strong swimming skills. I thought my instructor would’ve taken more note of that and helped me become comfortable in the water from the beginning. But I struggled and was left on my own to try to figure out my snorkel breathing. My dive buddy came to my rescue and calmed me down.The class was full with 8 people plus the instructor in the water. This seemed very tight for maneuvers and I was always bumping into someone or getting fins from someone else. The night one couple wasn’t there was much more comfortable in the water so I’d recommend six per class vs eight.Even in the shop purchasing my gear, the service wasn’t what I expected. The person who was helping us seemed a little put out to help (same person who was our dive master) while there was a second person who was great and really helped me select my gear. He helped in our pool sessions and I found him quite easy to work with. Thanks Ian.Also, some of the dive techniques seemed strange to me like using the longer air hose as my primary and having my backup around my neck with a loose bungee. The longer hose was also wrapped around my body and neck. When I shared this with a couple of very experienced divers (500-600 dives) they were both surprised at this technique. I guess it’s just a different way than they were trained. Who knows?I’m not disappointed with my experience but it wasn’t what I had imagined it would be. I’m super excited to go diving with fish and explore! I feel like I got basic skills and understanding from the course.

We love Dive Addicts! They have the best classes for scuba and a big selection of anything you need from snorkeling to scuba. Their diving/snorkeling trips are so much fun! We highly recommend Dive Addicts!

Great place to get your scuba lessons! My husband and I both did the accelerated course and are so happy that we went through Dive Addicts. Kelly Mower (our instructor) and Dallas (our dive master) were amazing! They were very informative and ready to answer any and all questions. I loved that they have their own pool to do the lessons in and finished the final dives at the Crater in Heber. I would recommend this place to everyone!

The guys at Dive Addicts are awesome. I did my Ice Diver certification with them and I loved it. Dallas recommended some great dry gloves and liners so that my fingers stayed a lot warmer and I enjoyed this years dive so much more. They have a great selection at their shop and offer quite a few trips that I hope to go on someday. They are very professional with training and are all about safety. Both ice dives I felt very cared for and safe as well. Thanks guys! I hope to dive with you again soon.

I have taken literally hundreds of scuba classes (recreational and technical). I’m an instructor trainer myself. This class was extremely well done. Ice diving requires extensive planning and every part of the plan really must go as planned. Josh, Michael, Dallas and Randy were simply incredible. The classroom session teaches you the roles and responsibilities of you as the diver, tender and assistant with various other duties. There are so many logistics from hauling all the gear required to the dive site, proper hole cutting procedures, medical contingency planning, diving procedures and skill briefings, back up gear needs (which had to be used because gear in this frigid environments can and did have problems), and more. Throughout the entire class, the 4 of them were positive, fun, encouraging and on top of ever detail. Will go down as one of the most incredible dive adventures (frankly any adventure) of my life. I would say 6 stars is more appropriate.

Very helpful in picking out the right gear that is quality and priced competitively. If you certify with them they give you up to 15% off some equipment.We have thoroughly enjoyed working with our dive instructor, Guy Abrahamson, His passion for diving is very clear. Great teacher.

Our family recently certified 6 divers together ranging in age from 10 to 30 in one class through Dive Addicts. Our instructor was so thorough and clear. My wife and I had a wonderful time and feel like we got the best training. Jim was a great instructor. My son was dive certified a couple of months ago in Arizona and he cant believe how much more instruction and diving experience we got. I especially loved being able to go back to the pool after we received our certification and spend 2 hours, for free, even for all the gear, to practice some things just the two of us. This really boosted our confidence and the next day we went back to the Crater, in Midway, and dove there and felt extremely comfortable and confident. Viewing Dive Addicts from the inside out I can tell you that they have very highly qualified people working there. Their SCUBA equipment service department is top notch and they work hard staying up on all the new regulators, BCs and computers. There is new equipment coming out all the time or there are up grades to different pieces of equipment on a regular basis. Being able to handle equipment repair expertly is no accident in this dynamic environment. Josh Adams does an awesome job!All of the instructors are very experienced and knowledgeable. Without exception, every graduating student has nothing but praises and positive words about there experience or about their instructor.

Everything I experienced here was top notch! When I signed up for the Freediving Level 1 class, I asked the sales staff how the course was going to be handled and what it would include. I was given a very detailed explanation of the course and the info I got matched up exactly the way the course was delivered! During the course, the instructors answered all of my questions in a professional, yet humorous manner to break the ice about something I was honestly a little scared about! This was my first diving experience and now I am definitely confident in the water and confident in my abilities! After the class, I asked the knowledgeable staff about what gear I would need, the different types of gear, and why you get what you pay for without being pressured to buy!Definitely a top notch operation, I highly recommend it!

This is is the most amazing SCUBA shop I have ever seen, and Ive been to a few! Amazing selection of Tech Gear. They occasionally offer free refreshers and mini courses in their on site pool.

I love coming to this dive shop. The staff is awesome, very knowledgeable about everything diving. They set me up with the perfect snorkeling set. No pressure to buy top of the line, you can tell they arent commission based. They fitted everything to my needs. The shop is very well stocked, and has a ton of different equipment. They seem to have every thing from spearfishing to rebreathers and technical diving. If I ever go beyond my scuba certification, this is where ill get trained. I would highly recommend this dive shop for all of your diving needs.

Brought my tank here to be refilled- I had it filled here before in the last year- no issues. This time I dropped it off they said it would be ready that same day after 6- I returned the next day to pick it up and they said it had not been filled yet to but the guy that fills and inspects them would be there the following day to fill it up. They knew I needed this tank back ASAP - I then waited until the following week figuring it would definitely be safe to pick it up... the staff then explained to me that it was still not filled and it would be a month until they could verify it being safe- and fill it. I understand safety but they tried to tell me I have never filled the tank there and I have - Also, no call ever during this time to notify me of anything- I could see if they were busy but everytime I go in there they have just been hanging around sitting at the counter chatting. Disappointing, I am an assistant diving instructor and have been diving for over 25 years- I will be taking my business elsewhere. Very unprofessional and rude to leave me uninformed, driving back and forth and wasting my time.

Shop had a wide selection of items, but the employee just didnt seem that interested in my questions, felt like I was really prying for answers. Drove 30 minutes to the shop to spend less than 5 in it. Wasted my time. Perhaps I caught him on a bad day but still. Seemed annoyed.

Ive bought all kit under the sun from all four corners of the Internet, and Ive pretty much settled for DA nowadays, even though Im all the way in the UK. Top notch service and unbeatable prices!

Rented a wetsuit from here for the weekend and when I got home to suit up the zipper was broken so I was not able to use this and had to rush to find another place that was open. Wish this would have been inspected before being rented out.

Earlier this year I decided to get into spearfishing and freediving. I spent a LOT of time trying to make sense of all of the jumbled information that I found on the internet. There is so much information out there and so many contradicting opinions that I really wasnt making any progress.I found a lot of helpful forum posts from Josh and Terry at Dive Addicts and was thrilled to discover that they were quite close by where I live. What a stroke of luck! Since that first day I walked into the shop, I have gotten into all of the gear that I need. The guys at Dive Addicts spent a LOT of time with me making sure I got the right gear at the right size for me. I was able to try out many masks, fins and suits all right there in the pool at their location! And trust me... you WANT to try on all of that stuff before you buy. It makes a huge difference and the staff is very good at helping you know what makes a piece of gear right for you.The dive shop offers tons of different training courses and certifications. They also put together diving trips for like-minded people. You always get a better deal with a group rate. Im doing my freediving certification there in a week and then Im off to Mexico in December for the Dive Addicts - San Carlos trip. I have been involved with Scuba diving since 1997 and was first certified in California through NAUI. In recent years I have taken Scuba instruction in Utah and in Texas which were both conducted under the PADI certification. I have been looking to get involved with technical diving for some time now, and I was unable to find a shop that would offer the training with experienced instructors until I found Dive Addicts.I frequently visited Utah area dive shops to ask technical diving questions. Dive Addicts was the only shop that had extensive experience in technical diving, and that was able to answer all of my questions. I have since taken Intro to Technical Diving and Sidemount Diving under the TDI certifications. I was very impressed with the time that they took to answer all of my questions during and after these courses. I will be using Dive Addicts for all of my future Scuba training.I would highly recommend Dive Addicts for Scuba training or equipment purchases. They have exceeded my expectations and have won my business.
