I was in a hurry and came to the store at closing time, I needed a tube replacement for my dirt bike and the service department was too busy to install it for me, it’s understandable especially if you come in five minutes before close. But the parts department was very helpful and friendly with my situation. They were able to get me a new tube and install it for me.
Drove nine hours to to pick up a bike for my son. I would highly recommend the shop and be happy to buy from them again. My son has been racing for almost 10 years. And the technician at edge went through the bike top to bottom front to back like I’ve never seen before. Even gave me some insights on adjusting suspension.I met our salesman was fantastic.!
Just recently bought a bike from them. Matt is the one I dealt with. He gave me a good deal and he was really nice to talk to over the phone. When I came to pick up the bike, its like he knew exactly who I was. He was very friendly and showed me around and meet people from service to parts. Then he had mechanic go over everything on the machine. A great place to go!
Just purchased a new bike and had a great experience. Matt was the salesperson who was honest and upfront. No hidden charges, no up- charges for shipping or bike build. Tech walk through front to back was great. This now my second purchase. Will go back for more.
I just had an awesome experience at Edge Powersports with Matt Welch as my sales rep. Straight from the get go Matt was a straight shooter and they had my dream KTM 350SXF in stock. I got the bike financed and the finance department got me an excellent interest rate. This is the Interesting part with other dealerships. I have solid credit and have had another dealership try getting me to commit to a high interest rate with a high 700 credit score.Edge wasn’t about that and had me financed all said and done with an excellent rate in about 15 minutes. Super fast and unfortunately I didn’t get her name behind the counter in financing but she was awesome. Called the bank right after submitting my application and quickly approved.Matt in sales and the financing department were great. The mechanics also deserve props. They looked over my bike and had me visually inspect it and answered all my questions about settings, parts and maintenance intervals. They were really cool and you could tell they legitimately enjoyed their job.All in all I couldn’t be more happy with the entire process at Edge. Very impressed and they definitely have won a customer for life. I even drove 6 hours from Vegas!
Dylan Jensen helped me with the purchase of a new UTV trailer today. He made the whole process seamless and ultra efficient. The paperwork had been prepared before I arrived, he did a full explanation of the trailer functionality and even hooked it up to my truck for me while I waited for the bill of sale to print. It was a true pleasure working with Dylan and his team at Edge Powersports.Thank you for going above and beyond to make it a great experience.Clark
I was looking for a pair of bikes and wanted to by both at once. I tried several dealers and Matt from Edge was incredibly helpful. He was able to find both bikes and also help arrange and coordinate delivery. I would recommend Edge and I will definitely go to Matt the next time I am in the market for a bike.
Brian helped me order a bike and delivered it earlier than promised a few months ago. Came back today to grab some fluids and a silencer. Everyone here is awesome from Sales (no pushy salesman and very helpful) to Parts (helping me get the correct fluids and silencer) to Finance (correcting something on my title-easy peasy!)
Went into Edge looking to buy a new bike for single track. I ended up working with Matt who is awesome to answer questions. He walked me through KTM vs Husky, new 2 stroke vs old vs 4 stroke. I appreciated is honest information in helping me get the right bike for me. If you are looking for a new bike go to Edge!
Dylan was awesome in helping me get a new dirt bike when new ones are hard to find. He helped me pick the one that was right for me and I love my new bike. Look him up if your looking for a new bike. I know I will next time I need a bike.
Brian was awesome - I requested a bike, down payment made and then the bike arrived early. No hidden fees, costs or games. Im an EDGE lifer ! Everyone I met there was super nice and knowledgeable. Will be back for all of my supplies and gear and any future bikes, FOR SURE !
My KTM finally came in week ago. Matt, who Id worked with on the order called me to let me know it was in and we scheduled time to pick it up. When I arrived to pick it up, Matt greeted me promptly and had everyone teed up from tech, finance to mechanics to walk me through. Matt made the process was smooth and seamless and I was out in about an hour. Shout out to Matt for great communication and experience throughout the process.
Matt is the man! Great customer service and treated you like a human. Even delivered our ATV himself right to our front door. Would recommend working with Matt and his team 100% thank you!!
Super awesome staff, walked me through the differences between different bikes to help find the right one for me. Dillon was super helpful and I came from Idaho falls so I had a bit of a drive he made sure to get me right in and out to help with time. Absolutely recommend buying here!!
Awesome experience. Matt helped me out and was very easy to work with. I’d been looking for a bike for quite a while and they had exactly what I wanted
HUGE shout out to Dylan Jensen at the Edge Motorsports. Dude is so straight up and real, no back and forth, most simple and easy purchase of a bike Ive ever had. Thanks to Dylan for being so informative and helpful, and making the process such an easy one. Huge shoutout to Garrett too, he schooled me inside and out of my bike and I feel like I have all the knowledge I could ever need on the bike. And last but not least is Sammy in Finance, she was seriously awesome. She was so quick and helpful, a great helping hand with what is normally the longest part of the process was finished in a matter of 15 minutes. Thank you all so much for such a great experience! Cant wait to ride that fresh 2fity!
This is the second bike I have purchased from Matt at Edge. This experience was just as great as my first experience. He is knowledgeable and great with follow up with all my questions. Sammy in finance was great to work with as well. I will be buying my next bike here.
Got some parts for my older bike. Thank you very much!
Dylan was awesome to deal with made the whole buying experience easy. Called on a Monday had my 22 husky on Friday. Super happy with the whole staff
Awesome customer service! Sammy and Matt went above and beyond to help us on our side x side purchase and were very helpful throughout the whole process. Thank you both!
U know, i was a manager at two bike shops in my life time and the unwritten rule was if a traveler came thru and needed something small a tech would drop what they were doing to help get the rider back on the road... This shop didnt care that i was traveling they turn me away all i needed was a simple oil change... THATS IT!!... im not from here but if i return this place wont receive a dime from me...!! Thanks for nothing EDGE
Just got my 2022 KTM 350 EXC-F from Edge Powersports. The staff was very attentive, and Matt Welch really went above and beyond with the sale of my bike. Matt walked me through the process, and the rest of the team made the experience very fast and painless. David, the mechanic, did a great job at walking me through all of the details of the bike, maintenance, tips, etc. Really appreciated this. Matt also went above and beyond and delivered my bike the next day in his own truck. Much appreciated!
Absolutely amazing!! Matt and Sammy, huge shout out guys! Thank you so much for the help you are amazing people! 10/10 I will be back!
Great people, knowledgeable staff, decent inventory. Dealer fees, but those are everywhere. Will consider another large purchase in the future
We love the team at Edge! They are always willing to help and share their knowledge. Gear selection is great and they have sizes in stock for the whole family. Parts counter is friendly and helpful, as well. Highly recommend.#parts#6Dhelmet#KTM
Awesome service all the way around. Really decent price for service and parts. I highly recommend this place to anyone.
I am pleased with my recent purchase and very happy about the service Matt provided. Thank you! Brandon Dodge
Zach and crew were a ton of help! They went the extra mile to get my husky back up and running. I will definitely be coming back!
I’ve been getting bikes and side by sides from the Edge for many years. Their sales staff are always helpful and courteous. I particularly like working with Brian in sales. Then there is Brian Green the owner who really does a lot for the riding community. Brian Z in parts is also great to work with. The location is very convenient right in the middle of Utah and Salt Lake counties. The selection is quite good and I’ve been able to pick up the latest model KTM bikes without waiting too long. They do have to order most parts except for commonly purchased parts which they usually have in stock. Their selection of riding clothes is pretty good too. I’ve run into many of the employees out on the trails so they do know what they sell.
Thank you guys for helping my dad get back on a bike and making the process so easy and smooth!
Matt Welch over at there at the Edge is the man to go to for new bikes, He makes buying new bikes quick and easy. He recently helped me get onto a 2022 KTM 350sxf and it was a no hassle deal. I was there maybe an hour while he got me the best deal and onsite financing.
Sammy & Matt were such a great help and answered all my questions I had and made sure I had everything I needed before I left, they both are so friendly and easy to talk to so it made the process so much easier for a new buyer like me.
Ive bought two different motorcycles here and each time the experience was great. The sales staff is friendly and very helpful. The dealership itself is just a class act. Ive purchased a different motorcycle at another dealership in down that rhymes with Marl Kalone and the contrast was night and day. I felt screwed leaving the other dealership and with Edge Im always comfortable and satisfied with my purchase. Their service guy did a detailed walk through of my new motorcycle and showed me all the hidden features, tips and tricks, etc. When Im looking for a motorcycle I check to see if Edge has what Im looking for first.
I am from Washington, it was well worth the trip to purchase a new Suzuki V-Strom 1050XT from Edge Powersports. Very trustworthy and helpful through the whole process. From sales, business manager and the fellah in the shop (forgot names) I was treated with first rate service. I couldnt find anyone locally to beat their price. I will strongly recommend to friends and family to buy from Edge.Joseph
I recently purchased my KTM 890 Adventure R from Matt Welch at The Edge. He made it the easiest transaction I have ever worked through, from getting me set up with all new riding gear to introducing me to Sammy in finance dept. all the way to taking me out back for my very thorough walk through. I will definitely buy from him again. Huge thanks to Welch and Sammy.
MUST READ before buying!!!If you value your safety and want to do business with a company that shares the same concerns then consider shopping elsewhere.I purchased a new 2020 KTM 790 Adventure from Edge on September 12th, $14k after taxes. With just 200 miles on the odometer, the FRONT BRAKES LOCKED up! I recommend you search KTM groups/ forums as youll see, this is not an isolated occurrence and the bike is extremely problematic. Wish I had done this prior to purchase. This occurred at a low speed and luckily the bike didn’t get dropped and no injuries but if it had happened just a few seconds later I would’ve been going interstate speeds and this would’ve been tragic. I notified the sales guy and he arranged to have the bike transported to service. That’s when he also decided to finally be honest and said - his own words Ive heard about it but Ive not had it happen to any of my customers”. What a horrible time to finally be honest. I let him know right away my confidence in the bike was completely gone and we needed to figure out something. Instead of the dealer making things right, knowing the bike has issues, they offered 9k, said they’d sell it for me and when I jokingly asked how much they stood to profit they said they’d sell it for 10k. I was shocked. I almost die and their concern is……. Profit. Either way the bike needed to be fixed. The sales guy said it “should” be covered under warranty. I said what do you mean should and why is it even under question whether warranty will cover it or not. So already they’re setting up to potentially wiggle out of a repair. Fortunately they didnt go that route but alarming it even came into question. After the bikes evaluation the Edge tech wrote:Removed Front brake lever.Found that the brake lever pin was out too far.No free play in the lever. As soon as the brakes built up heat. with zero free play.Causing pressure to build against the lever.Turned the lever pin, installed the lever. This is complete BS. I spoke with many other owners on the 790 adventure forum that experienced this exact issue. All of them said their dealers completely replaced the brake system. It’s my belief Edge didn’t want to go this route because they knew if I would just consign the bike with them they could sell it the next day since they had two buyers interested in it they had been in contact with, this is according to the sales guy. And replacing parts would’ve meant waiting on parts that were currently on backorder status until December. This would’ve triggered qualifications for a lemon law buyback. It was also discovered that Edge sold me a bike with an OPEN RECALL on the REAR brake system which is NHSTA campaign# 20V198000. I wasnt aware of this recall and didnt authorize it to be performed. I only found out about it when I picked the bike up (on a trailer, no way I was riding it) and read the service report and saw the recall had been performed. The reason the rear brakes were recalled was for COMPLETE FAILURE and the recall had been open for months while the bike sat in their showroom, yet they hadnt bothered to check the bikes safety before pushing it out the door and instead jeopardized my safety. This is the second motorcycle Ive purchased from Edge and its absolutely disgusting how little they care and how theyre not even willing to properly repair the bike. With just a couple hundred miles it sits in my garage, still defective. I did try and talk to KTM directly but they have horrible customer service and just refer me back to the dealer whos proven to be ineffective.Furthermore, before shopping here Id highly encourage you to read the other 1,2 and 3 star reviews and notice that when Edge responds, its not to try and settle or resolve the customers issues. Instead they respond to always appear infallible. Im sure this review will be met with strong condemnation and thats fine, I just hope you read this and think twice about buying from this place.
A bad experience a couple of years ago left a bad taste in my mouth... needless to say I picked up a new GasGas 250 here and my experience was great. They were quick with responses, professional, and treated me amazingly! Definitely have upped their game.
Called on a Thursday about getting a tube replaced on a 17 rim. Response sure bring it in. We can get that done while you wait. Come to find out they dont have it in stock and keep it till Monday and never start replacing it till I tell them Im on my way to take it elsewhere. They charged full price for it. Go anywhere else. You where given plenty of opportunity to make it right or even reach out so I could have gone elsewhere. Why would I waste more of my time. Because now in review all of a sudden customer service matters?
Brian is the most amazing employee here. He went out of his way to help us get my daughter a new KTM 65 SX. He was very attentive and communicated quickly to get the deal done on the phone. He even arranged to take the bike to the Mini MX races at the Jordan River HOV motocross park. He really cares about people. He went above and beyond what is expected. If you need a new bike don’t hesitate to see him. He is honest and is a man with integrity. Thanks for the 5 star treatment.
I brought my bike In after having an issue at another shop. Nick in parts was EXTREMELY helpful and figured out what I needed help with wasn’t a big deal and helped me with it in the back of my truck. I was so amazed at how willing he was to take time from his day to “act as a mechanic” and fix something that I couldn’t do on my own with my limited knowledge. He was extremely helpful and thoughtful and because of Nick I will be bringing back my bikes to edge even tho it is a lot further of a drive. Wonderful guy, better employee.
Helpful staff. Wish the selection was a little bit better
Great customer service! Brian in parts is always willing to go above and beyond to get you parts fast!
Great customer service. Called the parts department from out of state looking for a part for my ‘05 KTM 525. Landon checked stock, put his hands on the part, and boxed it up for shipping while I was still on the phone. I really appreciate the prompt and courteous service. Thanks.
Great place to go yamaha parts an others good people that know what they r talking about
People that truly love the sport. Really feel like they did their best to get me on the most appropriate bike for me, not just what they had available. Extremely patient, and answered all my questions. Highly recommend!
Friendly staff! Particularly salesman Brian S. - Professional, straight-forward, no gimmicks. Love Edge!
My experience with their service department has been pretty terrible.I purchased a new KTM 390 Adventure from them. It developed an oil leak after 500ish miles, I believe due to the oil being overfilled when I picked up the bike, they determined it was due to a gasket leaking. I was told it would take 2-3 weeks to fix, despite this being a brand new bike, I guess there is no reason to try and get it up and running at any rushed pace. Maybe I expect too much if I expect some urgency in fixing a newly purchased vehicle that has warranty issues. When I questioned the 3 week time period I was told they could make it faster so I took it in. Its now been about 3 weeks and it may be done this week, so there was no actual rush on it at all despite being told there would be. When I called previously to get a timeline I was just told the gasket was in(after a week) and that they would get it done soon, to be patient etc, but they didnt give me any sort of timeline then despite giving me one before I brought it in(Most likely just wanted me to bring it in so they could make some $$).Super disappointed, I know everyone is busy but any time Ive had a warranty situation at my job there is a rush to make sure the customer is happy, doesnt seem to apply with these guys and I wont be returning.
Seeked out a KTM dealer for an oil change while traveling across country. These guys delivered a quick turn around and very accommodating service center ! Kudos to Ron Sprouse for his friendliness and passion to the sport !
Joe in sales got me set up on a new Husqvarna a couple weeks back. He made it quick and easy and definitely knew his stuff. The whole team was professional and on their game. Rob the mechanic was super thorough showing me around my new bike and took his time making sure I had all my questions answered before driving off the lot.Much appreciated! See yall soon.
Matt and Sammy hooked me up with an awesome bike at an awesome price! They’ve earned my business and I’ll never buy anywhere else!
Not bad I bought a bike here and they put the stickers on the forks upside down.
Just bought a new bike from Matt at Edge Powersports and set it up for the snow. Matt quickly worked to get the bike perfectly set up for an upcoming trip I had under a short timeframe. Matt was great to work with, communicated clearly and treated me fair. Ron, Abi and the whole service team has been extremely easy to work with and has delivered excellent service. I’ve been overly impressed by the whole team and I don’t consider myself the easiest person to please. I tend to have overly high expectations of service people and sales people being a salesperson myself in a business where service critical to sales and Edge has delivered on all my expectations. I’m a super fan of this store and of how I’ve been treated by the whole team. Easy Five Star ranting from me. Thank you!
I purchased a 2017 KTM August 2017, and Edge Powersports was the right place to get it. Matthew was my salesperson. He was very nice and knowledgeable about all the products. I traded in my old BMW and had a little bit of cash. My credit kinda sucked, but with Wendys help, I was able to buy a bike. Wendy submitted applications and called a couple different banks to get me the best deal on financing. Im very grateful for her hard work. Now I have a sweet dirt bike, and my credit is better! Every time I come back for parts, Matthew finds me and remembers my name. Thanks Edge Powersports!
Great transaction. Salesman Joseph was great to work with, and very thorough. Mechanic Rob went above and beyond, very well spoken and thoughtful. Excellent experience. Worth the trip from NV. Thanks
Purchased a KTM 200 Duke today; Joseph was our salesman. The process went smoothly, and they provided excellent customer service all around. Bought the bike for my son, who is the first one in our family to get a motorcycle. This was a new experience for us, and Joseph was so helpful and knowledgable. So happy we chose Edge Powersports.
Edge is wonderful. Today they helped my daughter Make a Wish by helping suit her up with really nice gear and a great motorcycle. She survived cancer and now has an amazing bike to ride. The staff went above and beyond to help her pick out gear and provided her with a training ride.
Just got my KTM 390 Duke today, and I couldn’t be happier. Joseph was super helpful and nice and everyone there was welcoming and made my experience great. Highly recommend financing through these guys.
Great selection of dirt gear!
They advertise lower prices online than they are willing to honor without taking a few days to get back to you. I bought another gsxr from somewhere else because of this.
Love this place and the staff is great. Everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful. These guys go the extra mile
Love this place. Everyone is so helpful!
Went in to look for a 125 sx but was ignored by the staff (maybe people prefer that?). There was a very small selection of dirt bikes. I asked an employee if that was all they had and was told they will get more in June.
Poor sales experience this past week. Tried to purchase a used dirt bike and received conflicting information from different sales personnel. Specifically, the first salesman I talked to said they do a thorough inspection of used bikes before selling by going through major components including compression checks. I asked specifically if this bike had a good compression check and he said absolutely. He had to leave and handed me off to a second salesman who repeated the same message about compression checks and thorough inspection. I was trying to determine when I would need to do a top end on this bike and other such maintenance. He committed to call the consignment seller and get some more detail. I left to do some more research and await answers. Received the answers, but the story on ownership changed a bit and this owner did not know how many hours were ridden on the top end, so it was still unknown when I would need to do the top end after purchase. Talked to a 3rd salesman (Randy) on the phone, and he said they were selling the bike, so it didnt make sense to follow-up on any more questions. I said great and left it. My son discovered the bike was still for sale the next day, so we dropped by with money in hand, and I asked if we could see the compression test results and other work on the bike. Randy said they dont do compression checks, and he was not interested in performing one, even though I was ready to purchase.Im disappointed to leave a one star review since I live down the street and really want to do business here. Ive purchased a number of smaller items with good experiences from the parts desk, but trying to purchase a used bike here was challenging, and I felt my questions were not handled respectfully. I think its reasonable to get the info to determine when to start a maintenance schedule on a used bike.Added a star because they responded.
These guys are ok. I brought my bike in to get a part replaced that I would normally try to replace myself but I dont have a garage and it is freezing outside. So, a $100 part, $90 tire and labor came out to about $1200. The guy on the phone told me that my fuel pump just happened to stop working when they put my tank back on, and that my tubeless liner would not seal the new tire. Long story short, they broke the fuel pump and tubliss liner while working on the bike. They tried to charge me $600 for a new fuel pump (even OEM one is 400) and I refused until they did a little investigation and turns out the fuel pump had a wire disconnected that they broke while working on it. (they ended up fixing what they broke) Hopefully an honest mistake but to damage 2 parts and not claim either of them and just try to charge me for them is just wrong. Also, I asked them to balance my tires and the shop guy said that it was literally impossible since they arent DOT tires. Since I knew this to be 100% false, I didnt even argue with them since they obviously didnt want to preform that service. A 6g tubliss valve is pretty easily counterbalanced with any cheap weight(s) and it will be 90 percent balanced even if you dont know what youre doing. Anyway, the part that I had them replace originally was fixed properly and I havent had any issues with it. I did end up paying for the liner that they damaged and made them give me the old one to prove that it was damaged by them. They can fix your bike but you gotta watch them. I think I ended up paying 600 for the $190 in parts and for labor. I cant imagine how much someone would spend here if they just said yes to everything.
Was there a few months ago to do a full service for my KTM. They are not at the quality of a KTM dealership, even Chinese motorcycle manufacturer are doing better quality service. Read below, I went to:Change oilChange brake fluidChange clutch fluidChange coolantPressure / compression check...Well after 2months which was supposed to be 2 weeks, I had to bring it back because oil was leaking from drain plug. After picking up a 2nd time they had ripped the cap or stolen the cap for my lithium charger extension. When I got home, I had too much engine oil, I didn’t go back, never will. Needless to say I still even wonder if they performed the other maintenances I paid for.
I went in to Edge Powersports looking for a bar expander for my hand guards. I had been to several shops with no luck. I was fortunate enough to talk to Chad in parts. He didnt have any on the shelf, but told me he had seen one and went looking for it. Chad went way above and beyond! He located it, and because it was used, he gave it to me. Chad absolutely saved my day as we were headed to Moab the next morning and I was in a serious bind. Chad then helped me with a hydration pack and some socks. I whole heartedly recommend Edge Powersports. Friendly and helpful staff, good selection, you cant go wrong. Thank you Chad for taking the time to really help me. Your customer service is top-notch.
Great place to buy. Super friendly and Sammie in the title/doc dep was really knowledgeable and willing to help. They had a mechanic go over the whole bike with me, servicing procedures, maintenance, set up. I’ve never had a motor sports place fo that and it went a long way for me. I really appreciated that
Dont take anything here for service work. Took over 3 months and cost over $3000 for a regular service, new wheels and tires. Very unhappy with the entire experience and will not be returning to Edge. If I wanted it to take 3 months I would have done it myself and saved a ton of money, but they misled me on how long it would take and how much it would cost.
Randy and Bryan helped me out with a new sled and some riding gear. They were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I agree with other reviews: they are a no pressure sales team and seem to care about their customers. Also, they came across as a team of salesmen rather than all for one.
Really great! Love the new bike. The staff was very helpful
Love that they help people get into Motocross
These guys are awesome. Very knowledgeable and very friendly. Need more gear, so will definitely be going back.
Recently purchased a new KTM 250 from these guys. Excellent service through the entire process. Things were taken care of in a timely manner and they kept me informed the entire way. Matt in sales was extremely professional and probably one of the most laid-back, chill sales person I have ever worked with. He never pressured me into buying anything I didn’t need or that was it within my budget. I chose to sell a bike consignment with them prior to purchasing my new bike and that process went off smoothly without a hitch. Can’t say enough good things about this place definitely a customer for life. Cheers guys and thanks again Matt!
I ride KTM so I’m stuck up but these guys are not. They are knowledgeable and help anyway they can. You’ll go in and end up coming out with something awesome even if it’s just 50w oil :)
I bought a bike from this location last week and I’m so glad I did. I was impressed with each person who helped me along every step of the way, from the moment I first walked in, to the point of driving off on the bike. Thank you for not only matching me up with the right bike, but also for making the whole buying experience fun and pressure free.
Outstanding service center, very competent friendly and knowledgeable staff! Prices are pretty reasonable too. Would recommend!
Excellent experience overall. I was in the market for a new bike after not riding for 5 years, and had a lot of questions. I visited several dealerships throughout the valley to get a good idea of all the options out there. Far and away had the best help, and most knowledgeable salesmen at Edge. Finally settled on a new KTM DUke and they took the time to walk me through everything on the new bike, and made sure I was completely comfortable and had all my questions answered before I left. Will definitely be back when in the market for another bike or gear.
I came to The Edge looking for a used bike for my son. Matt dropped what he was doing and really took his time helping me out with this decision. His help and expertise really made this purchase go so easy and smooth. I would definitely go back and buy another bike from him and The Edge and I plan to do so in the future.
Picked up my new dream dirt bike at The Edge on leap year day. Coolest leap year purchase I have ever made! Matt Welch was awesome! Super friendly, knowledgeable, and very patient. Would absolutely hands down recommend asking for Matt when you go in to look at bikes. He will hook you up! The parts guys are super cool as well and Rob in the shop gave me the best rundown on my new bike I ever could have hoped for. Customer for life here! I cant say enough good things. Get to the Edge!
Knowledgeable staff
I have always had a great experience with the parts department. They have always been willing to give me a discount and make me feel like a valued customer. They are always there to help and never leave me just standing around without asking how they can assist me. Great job.
Great customer service honest sales team purchased M 6000
I have had nothing but great experiences when working with Edge Powersports. I have bought a few dirt bikes from various dealers around the Salt Lake and Utah County valley and by far my experience with the Edge has been the best. I have purchased two bikes from Brian who was never pushy, always professional, and answered all my many questions. Once purchasing the bikes the Edge had their mechanics go through both bikes with me and answered any additional questions I had. None of the other dealers Ive worked with ever provided this level of support. Needless to say, the Edge has a customer for life.
They have great sales personnel and have some great products. Service department is great as they are well trained service providers.
Matt Welch (sales) and Rob (in service) were awesome. This was my first bike ever and they made the experience quick, fair, and worry free. I’ll definitely be coming back in the future. Randy was great, as well. His entire team are top quality.
Cool guys! I wouldnt buy anywhere else!
Avoid the service department at all costs. Honestly, you’d be doing yourself a favor by going anywhere but here for anything. Customer service across the board is just pathetic. But don’t worry they’ll be ready with the bill!!
Super sweet very helpful
Customer service only so-so. Waited 10 minutes while the guy at the service desk talked with someone on the phone. Didnt even acknowledge that I was there. I was always taught to pay more attention to the customer standing in front of you than the one on the phone. Is that not a thing any more? When I picked up my machine (after having a winch/plow installed and the regular service done) the bill was quite a bit more than I expected. The winch/plow was as expected, but no one ever gave me an idea of what was entailed in the regular maintenance. I was happy with what was done, I was just taken off guard by the price tag. No estimate was given to me beforehand. Again, I waited to pay while two or three workers walked around me and never asked if I had been helped or not. Im just old fashioned that way I guess.
I went in looking to see if they had 4 wheelers, 3 people from there sales team sat behind the counter on their phone and were zero help, ill never go back
Got a ton of bikes service department is top notch
Highly recommend getting a second opinion if are getting any repairs done on your bike. Took my bike in and was given a quote for $4,000 (which is the price of a new engine) took it to another shop and was quoted $1,500. Not saying that don’t know what they are doing, but they clearly up charge their repair services.
Bought a trailer from them today. It was an easy process. They were knowledgeable and helpful.
Final outcome: Bike is back and in great condition. They gave me a small discount on a set of tires and helped get me on the road. I am super happy with the quality of the work but the time it took and issues with getting updates will leave this review a 3. I am willing to give them another shot at service in the future since the quality of the techs work was great.Update: I did get a call from the tech working on my bike today. He gave me a fair and honest update on the status of the bike. I am adding one star to 3 and will do a final assessment once the bike is back in my possession.Original Post:Still dont have my bike.I have a Suzuki Boulevard that I brought in for a manufacturer recall and a full service. At drop off I was told it would be about 2 weeks. This was on Aug 22nd. A full breakdown is included below but long story short, I have been told a different story every time Ive called and promised multiple call backs with no action. I am supposed to be getting a call today so we will see what happens.Aug 22- Drop off bike, told that a manufacturer recall and full service willbe around 2 weeks.Sep 1- Call for a status update and Im told that the part has arrived butI have 2 bikes in front of me and to check back in a couple days.Sep 3- Im told that my bike is still in the queueSep 8- I call in and give my last name, he asks if I have a different bikeand then realizes he had looked up someone elsewith thesame last name, my bike is 2 bikes back from getting workedon.Sep 14- Im told my bike is the next up and that it should be done thatafternoon or the next daySep 15- I cant get through to the service desk but the sales guy goesback and sees my bike on the shop floor Im told that I shouldexpect a call back in a day or 2Sep 16- Im told my bike was scheduled to be worked on that morning butthat have 2 consignments came in that the mechanic will inspectfirst and then be working on my bike that afternoon at which pointIll get a call.Sep 17- Im told all the work has been complete but that they are callingon a warranty to see if they can get part of the bill covered by themanufacturer. I can expect a call in a day or 2 to know how much Iowe.Sep 21- Im told that my bike is next up to be worked on and that there is1 bike in front of me? The mechanic who does Suzukis worksTuesday-Saturday so he isnt in to work on it that day.I was patient and ask her to explain to me what has beenhappening that a 2 week timeline has turned into a month. Sheasked me for the name of the person who gave me this estimatesince Edge has had a 4-5 week queue for the past severalmonths. I never got his name but said it was the person whoentered my ticket in the first place. She was very apologetic but said I should have never been told a 2week estimate in the first place. She promised my bike would beworked on yesterday and that I would get a call last night or today atthe latest. Well see what happens. At this point I feel like every time Ive called in I have been told whatever the employees thought I wanted to hear to get me off the phone. They were always extremely polite but I still dont have my bike.I can understand-*Being told a wrong estimate*Maybe having people give me wrong updates because 2 people with the last name of Hinde having a bike for service at the same time. But I am getting beyond the point of being frustrated and really hope that Im going to get the call I was promised today.
Love their shop. Been going there for many years. Friendly staff. Ktm rocks!!
Service experience was fantastic. Dropping my KTM 1190R off today, the guys took a quick look and we discussed my troubleshooting to get my bike started. As I was leaving they suggested another idea which was the dreaded orange programming key. Took the bike back home and it started per their suggestions! Could have taken my cash, but instead recommended a fix which i easily did. Thanks guys!
