My first time using Ramsey’s and it will definitely not be the last. Mary was beyond helpful and got me scheduled for my inspection and an oil change. There was never a time where i felt i needed to call and follow up (something ive had to do several times with a different auto care facility). Bob walked me through what needed to be done with the car and he was cognizant of my budget. Walking in and picking up my car was quick and painless and i felt secure that my vehicle was taken care of properly. I highly recommend them for your vehicles service needs!

Ramseys is probably the best mechanics Ive gone to, not to short change others but I will say, I enjoyed my time there pretty thoroughly. I dropped off my car, got it inspected and fixed up (The sway bar links needed replacing) and I waited till I got home to start writing this. Car runs excellent now, I no longer feel like a small gust of wind could topple my car over. They even tuned a few things up that I didnt know about, which lets you know they always have your best interests at heart.Also, everyone there is very friendly, Bob himself was extremely pleasant, which is nice since I have a rough time talking to people on the best of days.Honestly, you dont get that kind of business everywhere, and Ill probably go there from now on if Im in need of some service.

Set up an appointment here to have a used car I was purchasing in the area get a once over after seeing all the positive reviews posted on google. Ended up running a little late, however they still got me in immediately. Did a test drive, thorough once over of the car, and gave me an absolutely fantastic price. Very transparent about everything they saw with the car. Bob and Steve were an absolute pleasure to work with.. just genuinely great guys who do a fantastic job. Came in with high expectations due to all the great reviews and they exceeded them. I know if I ever need some work on the car and have the time Ill be making a trip back here. Thanks again guys.

Ramseys saved me hundreds of dollars by repairing something that another shop told me needed to be replaced. Bob was professional and kind, the work was done in a timely manner, I highly recommend them!

Usually, I only get to deal with them on a yearly basis for inspection. However, there were a couple of emergencies: a bad breakline, no headlights. I called, they took me right away and corrected the problem on the spot. I cant recommend Ramseys more strongly. Its probably the best service station Ive dealt with since moving back down here from the Poconos. I dont plan on leaving them.

Love this place! Bob and Pat and the whole staff are great, friendly and informative. Fair prices, low pressure, and they dont mind taking the time to explain things or give you options. I have taken my aging Volvo there for a few years - and they understand that my priority is keeping the car safe and running while keeping the bills to a minimum! Now that Ive finally upgraded to a newer vehicle, my first step will be to take it in for them to inspect and sign off on.

Ive been taking my car to Bob for the last 3 years and I couldnt be happier. Its hard to find an honest mechanic that charges reasonably at the same time. If he doesnt think something is necessary, he lets you know. 10/10 would recommend to anyone (and I do if I get the chance!) Went in for lube, oil, filter, and tire rotation and all went very well, as always. Mr. Ramsey is always looking for ways to save me money, and hes done it several times. This time, he noticed the air filter was dirty. Rather than change it now, he was able to clean it with compressed air so it will last until the next oil change. Always friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and punctual.

Just picked up my car after leaving it there for 2 full work days only to find out that they did zero work on it. Now Ive wasted two days and still need new brakes, an oil change, an inspection and new spark plugs. All they did was get my steering wheel covered in grease. No phone call. No heads up. I had to call them to find out I wasted two days without a vehicle. They were very apologetic and specified that they had a call out both days. No big deal, just let me know so I can get my vehicle worked on somewhere else. Extremely disappointed.

Ive made the mistake on several occasions of getting quotes at other repair shops. Bob & Jess always beat the price, not by cutting corners but by being honest. I recently had brakes and tires installed and I personally listened to Bob on the phone with several places trying to find me the best value at the best price. Ramseys mechanics are technically good but there are a lot of good mechanics out there. Their office is adequate but the car dealerships waiting lounge is topnotch. So why do I keep coming to back Ramseys despite the longer trek from Swarthmore to Drexel Hill? I guess it all boils down to trust. I usually talk to Bob. When he recommends something done it really needs to be done. He doesnt nickel and dime you every time you come for an oil change or an inspection. He doesnt hesitate to advise against dealership recommendation. Not just to save you money but because its the best option for you.Truth be told I was always skeptical of mechanics due to unsavory experiences with them. But then I came I across Ramseys. Hope restored. :D

I will never go anywhere else for service! I found Ramseys by chance 3 years ago when I was looking for an inspection place after the last place had ripped me off. They were not only affordable, but spoke to me with respect and understanding about my car that I really appreciated. So about a year ago when I had what I though was a tire issue I brought my car back to them. I had just had heart surgery, as in, the tire busted on my way home from being discharged! So my son and father had to handle all the in person stuff and I did everything else over the phone. It turned out to be my shocks! I huge job! Bob was amazing during the whole process and worked with me to get the pricing as low as possible since he knew I was already under stress from my surgery! Then just this year I had my car with a dealer for a recall repair and they tried to tell me the car was going to need over 2,500 of repairs to pass inspection and I should just turn it for a new car! Naturally I took it right to Ramseys! Bob looked at it and said NO WAY! He found that it did some fixes for inspection, but nowhere close (almost 2,000 less!) to what the dealer had claimed!Bob and every employee always treats me and my family with respect and I trust them with my car more than anywhere else!

I have been going to Ramsey’s for years and will continue to do so. I had a pretty crappy Kia throughout college and whenever I took it to be repaired there, I never had problems with that specific part again. They always called to ask me if they could go ahead with the repair, explaining what repair had the highest precedence if I was tight on money, as well as a quote. They take their time to explain the part that’s having an issue and how they’ll repair it. Now that I have a newer Honda I trust them to do regular checkups and oil changes, I recommend this friendly mechanic to everybody!

Honest, reliable, experienced, works on your schedule. Bob and team will get that car back on the road with honest repairs. I heard about him about 5 years ago at the ball field with my son and have been actually surprised (in a very good way)at how honest and reliable he is. I had such a pleasant experience getting my car inspected! I was dreading it because my regular shop closed down and a lot of auto repair shops try to take advantage of women, but I decided to go there because it was close to home and Id had a nice experience renting a Uhaul truck from them a few years ago. The owner was so welcoming when I walked in. He invited me to sit and wait for my car instead of walking home, he chatted with me, and before I knew it my car was done! He honored a coupon although I didnt have it on me, and he didnt charge me extra. He told me that my car would need tires soon, but didnt try to pressure me to buy from him. I did get the tires replaced. I really liked this place, and will DEFINITELY be returning.
