Great place, great crew!

On a busy day before Christmas Eve this place has customer service in play. Two people helping with beers, a guy in the cigar closet, and a guy behind the counter ringing everyone up. Place was stocked to the ceilings and although I only drink Bud Light, the suggestions on what I might think about buying for tomorrows guests was greatly appreciated as my knowledge outside of domestic beers is pretty limited. They even helped carry my significant order to the car.

I found tiny bugs in a box of cigars. Not even kidding, it was disgusting.I carried the box out of the walk in humidor and gave it to the owner. He put it back. What more do you need to know?Walk in humidor is very small, and smells very musty. Stay away.

I used to avoid this place and all beer distributors in general because I never drink an entire case of beer. Now that our archaic/obsolete PLCB was forced to loosen its grip on Commonwealth citizens I am more than happy to support local distributors where I can buy a six-pack of beer (or two)! See, change is good! Now this distributor is getting my business, when in the past it did not! This place has an awesome selection, even my all time fav Rochefort 10 is present! Great staff, super friendly. Highly recommend it. Check it!

Please allow me to comment on the last review...This gentlemen called us about three times concerning a rare product. Unfortunately, since craft beer is now a huge segment, there is simply not enough product in the supply channel to satisfy every customer.It was before the 4th of July, Founders released an ultra-rare limited product that is bestowed upon us, only if we purchase enough Founders during the course of an entire year, in essence it is a Thank You for supporting us beer. Unfortunately, these releases generally cause more headaches than they satisfy.As previously stated this guy called us 3 times asking for it. The wholesaler is small and disorganized, compounded by the fact the 4th fell on our (and Delcos) delivery day. With the distributors lack of cooperation, I could not get a straight answer, as the dist. cited employee vacations clouding the delivery window.The man would not take No for an answer and persisted, and thought I was stone-walling him, when I could not give him a firm time.Also, as far as Iknow (I could be wrong, but I know my cust.) he was not a regular craft beer customer. As Ive said, these releases are a reward to me, that I reward my faithful customers with. If someone doesnt shop my store and buys the regular releases, then the brewery will not allow me to buy the special releases they offer.Thats the dirty little secret and the carrot breweries dangle to sell their regular release. In other words, if I dont buy regular founders,I do not get special release Founders.That being said...I would have sold him a bottle.From behind the counter, I have watched a group of opportunists follow the delivery truck from store to store to horde Founders CBS. I have had customers boast that they were going to take my fairly marked up beer and make a killing selling it on Ebay. Its a shame, but cherrypickers are a growing problem in an industry where demand outpaces supply.Were all about spreading the word of craft beer, not gouging folks, so to me that thought is repugnant.The moral...wherever you shop, be loyal and youll never have to call around for a special, rare release, the shopkeeper will already have one reserved, with your name on it.
