I bought my fourth Nissan car last night at Nissan Duarte. Leo provided the best customer service I have ever experienced. He was not pushy and negotiated the best sale price. Omar and the general manager also were professional and great to work with. I truly believe the Nissan Duarte team excels in customer service and established a comforting feeling of trust. I highly recommend this dealership.
Do not lease or buy your car here! Nissan of Duarte will provide you with **AN UNCLEAR** payout statement for your finalized car purchase. They will not state what is being charged. Their excuses are that they can not break down what is being charged due to their system.Our cars residual value is $9254.30, and this is the price we should be paying for the lease-end buyout.The dealership comes out with $10,436. We asked them why the sale price is different than the residual value of $9254.30? The dealership said the sale price of $10,436 included dealership fees. We asked the dealership, can you state or break down that on the contract (document) so we know what we are paying or being charged for this purchase. They reject our request and said, that is how their system is and can not break it down on the document. which basically means its a verbal charge and contract that they want you to know to agree to by verbally explaining to you what is being charged on the payout.The $10,436 included the dealership fees, but why are we paying tax on the dealership fees? Beware, DO NOT come here!

On the positive side, the dealership was nice and the people were friendly. However, the sales team was probably the most deceptive Ive encountered and I used to work in this industry. Complete fabrications of numbers, reports, explanations and justifications. Alternative facts were everywhere. Especially the intentionally vague Upfront Costs value on your quote which should more appropriately be labelled Hidden charges for additional services you never agreed to If Nissan of Duarte wasnt the only dealership in the region to have the car I was looking for, I would have certainly walked away to go somewhere else. Buyer beware.

I’m writing this because my sister went to that dealership. To get her self a car it went well but her car did not come with any floor mats a spare key and still to this day we are waiting for the registration and the license plates and she went back in April it’s very unprofessional. And to make things worse when she got the vehicle the computer wasn’t working she’s taking it back and it’s still giving her problems the window behind the driver side still doesn’t go down sometimes and the car was given to her dirty on the passenger seat and floor mind you they are supposed to fix the vehicle before giving it to customers but they couldn’t even fix that and we’re noticing so many problems after buying the vehicle. We called the DMV about the registration was told that the dealership never ordered it she has to pay $23 in order to get license plate and the registration. Call Nissan they said that they had placed an order but it was never sent to our address if Nissan reads this they need to contact her and fix the situation because why pay for something that isn’t fully there especially the car payments are no joke.
I have done my maintenance on 8/10/21, I mentioned my left front tire pressure light on.Edward explained that’s normal because of the weather. After maintenance add air should be fine. Ok for 2days, 8/12 the left back tire light went on. I called and Edward said could be leaking. Scheduled 8/13 7am to check it up.8/13 a lady service staff serve me and said if they run diagnosis for me it’s $175 if it’s because of nail wounded the tire and they won’t fix the tire, I need to go tire shop to fix. And if it’s system problem, I don’t need to pay. So I left to check the tire nail .I didn’t get a chance to go until 8/21, within this week the tire pressure lights went on and off and from left back to add up right front and finally on 8/20 4 tires lights went on.Till now, I understand it’s not tire nail but I still go tire shop to check up 4 tires on 8/21.They were all fine. I drive to Nissan of Duarte right away, that’s the only place I do all my maintenance.At parking lot, a man with uniform greet me and I told him I’m here for service department. He said why don’t you tell me what you need, he heard my story and even check my car. Then said: just tell them to reset your car! He was a jerk wasting my time! And ask me to ask for him if I need new car! 😡I finally got into service department, the same lady again. After all my story, she said: I could schedule you to do diagnosis, you should pay $175. I said I have bought extended warranty. She said extended warranty doesn’t cover diagnosis. No matter what result, I have to pay $175. And she is not sure if the problem they find will be covered or not? I asked her to check what’s covered what’s not. She said she can’t do that. So I asked her to note down my visit and complaints. And I left!If she was telling the truth, then I was cheated to buy the extended warranty from the beginning. My understanding is “extended warranty “ mean extend the original and pay more. Which I did pay more but didn’t get original warranty extended. If this is how Nissan do business, I’ll skip Nissan from now on.By the way, the tire pressure lights went on and off started the first winter I bought the car, and happened every year, this year started not even winter yet! My car is 2018 Nissan Rogue hybrid.
Zury was great! She asked what vehicle we were interested in and she delivered! She showed us different options and once we decided on a vehicle, we test drove the vehicle and she made the deal happen. She is awesome! Also, I appreciated the fact that Zury didn’t try to sell us on something we didn’t want! She knew what we were looking for and she made it possible! Also, the finance process was great and we appreciated the finance manager staying late to accommodate us! The team at Nissan of Duarte was great and we couldn’t be happier! My brakes were making noice so i took it in for service on monday morning, Felipe helped me out right away by taking all my information then he gave it to the mechanic and they found the problem, After finding the problem they gave me a rental and send me on my way, Everything was well done and very professional the service was great the people were great and im very satisfied thank you nissan of duarte

I purchased a vehicle in December of 2020, and everything was well, except for the fact that I never received my paper plates after purchasing the vehicle & the Nimbo tracking does not allow me to sign in. after mentioning this to the salesperson (repeatedly) who assisted me, I went through 3 months of back and forth talking that essentially led nowhere. I then mentioned never receiving my metal plates in the mail as the license plate does not match the one on my vehicle registration. during the 3 months the salesperson has left no reply for long periods of time, told me that I need to do essentially figure it out myself and I was never even helped with either situation. This dealership loved to help me when I was purchasing but after they got my money they simply ignored/refused to help. I would not recommend buying here, they will just try to get you to spend as much as you can & then let you deal with any issues after purchasing.
I made an appointment to get my cars oil and filter changed and when I showed up the 2 service advisors didnt even greet me. While waiting in the entrance the lady took my keys without asking for my name and told me to have a seat in the waiting area, that she would call me shortly. That short wait took almost an hour. And they had not even checked my car in, even though it was parked right in front of the entrance door. I had an appointment at 11am and was actually helped by the advisor close to 12pm.After all that wait, I had to go ask the service advisor I gave my keys to how much longer untill my car got checked. It was at this point she finally asked for a name. Then when she finally did call me to go over the details of the service I requested, she let me know they are not honoring the lifetime oil changes they agreed to when purchasing my car. Their excuse was nissan of duarte is under new ownership and that they are not honoring the lifetime free oil changes.Not only is this dealer lacking customer service skills but its also not honoring its contract for the lifetime oil changes. Making an appointment and getting helped out an hour later, on top of not honoring its contract really shows how bad this management team truly is.

Wish it was a 0 stars. I came 5 times see whats wrong with My 2019 Nissan. The first 3 they said nothing was wrong, the 4th time they found around 6 problems that they didnt find last time. They *fixed* it 3 days later (still waiting for a special part). 2 weeks after the *work* is done the same problems start happening and the car just shuts off. Second Nissan I got and same trash. Terrible place. DONT COME HERE!
Took my car in for an oil change and a recall that I received I was there waiting on my appointment and I was told about some valve cleaning that I didnt get last time which was about 250 I agreed to do it but thats not my problem I agreed to do the valve cleaning and just an oil change well low and behold I come in to pick my car up and Im stuck paying an extra 200 for a minor service that I never mentioned or agreed to had to do a finance with them for longer to have breathing room this well be the last time I come to this nissan well get my recalls and services at another nissan.
SOLD ME A BRAND NEW VEHICLE THAT HAS SCRATCHES AND RUSTED MUFFLER. They said they were going to take care of me but it seems so difficult for them to make that happen . Very unprofessional staff there... After a whole year they still havent placed the lo jack on my truck but yet they did charge me for it in my contract... Ive called several times now and personally went over to the dealer to speak to a mngr or supervisor and no one seems to know anything...Manager is always busy and unavailable to speak to anybody....and the waiting time is horrible...😠😠😡

The service sucks nobody helped not even parts department when I tried to buy a steering wheel cover for my vehicle I had to wait 30 minutes no one from service department help me with my vehicle until I had to come up there I asked for an advance appointment never got my book for my car it’s just bad experience and I will never go back their again

Like so many people on this thread, I purchased a car and paid extra for lifetime oil changes as long as I owned the vehicle. Long story short, they stopped honoring my lifetime oil change because the business “changed ownership” which is strange because looking at the reviews they are giving different reasons for everyone else.I started going to Nissan of Alhambra and although it’s a new location the service is amazing. I would never go back to Duarte where every 1-2 years they clean house with the service advisors...- STAY AWAY FROM NISSAN OF DUARTE and go to NISSAN OF ALHAMBRA (AMAZING SERVICE)

I was disappointed that I wasnt informed of anything negative found on my suv during my recall work and had to find out when I went to put the service documents in my glove department where I found a report. I dont know if it was because I did not purchase any additional service or not, but when I picked up my car I wasnt told of any foreseen problems. Yesterday I found a report on the work done in my suv in my glove department. It said during the inspection my back brakes were flagged, one of the recall items was not conducted due to an upload problem, and that my tire pressure was corrected. Well according to my tire pressure monitor it was the same way I left it.
This Nissan department was so helpful in buying my first car. They ensured me I would be leaving here with a new car, and I did! Marwan was very helpful and even gave me a free car wash! Fantastic service! Recommending anyone who wants to buy a car, especially a Nissan, at the Duarte branch.

Dont buy at duarte nissan, customer service socks, they never return your calls when you have issues but when they want to sell you service the constantly call you.Its been over a year and they cant seem to transfer the title of a trade in.Also 6 months to replace a door molding.So good luck if you do.

The customer service representative provided great service. This dealership was providing a free microfilter replacement. I thought this was a great idea due to the recent multiple San Gabriel fires. Also the representative offered a free quick car wash and fixed a foam sticking out from the front dashboard. (The foam issue was their when I bought the 2019 Altima from another dealership and I didnt notice it until later on). Overall this experience was excellent.
Purchased a car and they included lifetime oil changes with the deal as long as I own the car. Now they are denying my the oil change and the reason being that I never got any major services done at the location. Ive filed a complaint with corporate and now going to with BBB.12/7 .. Month later and they still have done nothing about it.

The service advisor - Dean has been helpful and attentive. It takes a little longer than I expected. May be Saturday is the busiest day of the week. This Nissan dealer location is a bit too far from any restaurants. Since my car is in service, there is no way for me to go and buy some food to eat. This dealers shop only sells sweet candy and cookies. Not something you can eat for lunch.

First time servicing my car here since the one closer to Alhambra closed. I had the choice of Glendale or Duarte and decided on Duarte since it was a bit closer to my work. Dean was my service advisor and he was very efficient and knowledgeable in handling my service. I did a major service and the entire process was seamless. The complimentary shuttle was convenient and great. They ready to go within 5 minutes after Dean finished. For a Friday drop-off, I thought they would be busy, but got lucky.Later, I got a call from Dean and I had to leave my car overnight since parts will arrive next morning. They offered to shuttle me back when the car is ready but I didnt need it since it was a Saturday and my wife could drop me off. Anyhow, when I picked up my car, I went in, Dean went over the service, paid, and Dean pulled my car up and that was it. Simple, smooth, and excellent service - couldnt ask for more and will definitely be back.

Terrible customer service in the finance department. Their finance person never available. I been leaving multiple messages for the past 2 days for a call back, but I never receive one.
UPDATE : They had an offer of a 40$ gift card when you test drive, I called them twice but never receive one it’s a SCHEME LIE. They have a HUGE office space. Despite COVID cases increasing the thing that most annoyed me was they sat us besides a customer that were too close, I would understand the case where they’re packed but they had so many other tables empty. They should spread knowledge to their employers to maintain social distancing guidelines. That’s the thing that’s leading me to post a bad review, where it’s common sense to skip a table between customers but they can’t think of that. They should tell their employees to be more careful. Except that it’s clean and has sanitizers

I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff while I explained what my Frontier 11 needed. They also explained to me problems with my vehicle that I didnt even know I had and gave me his honest feedback on the situation. This dealership is really thoughtful about their customers; not like those Crooks at Puente Hills Nissan. I would never recommend them to anyone. This location is the closest to me but I drive the extra mile to Duarte because of the great experience I always have with them.

I am putting my review back to 1 star. I am done dealing with the finance manager frank. I have been asking for him for days. I have emailed him to call me. I cannot leave messages as their inbox is full. I already have told him that I do not get emails from him. He is never available. If I can show how many times I have called this dealership just to talk to finance and could not reach anyone i would. I am done. I have never dealt with such bad service with a dealership before. I am glad that I went to another dealership and got my new car. I give 5 stars to omar though.
Dean was helpful and he honored the free oil change that came with the car when I purchased it. However he said the new owner is not honoring them anymore so I was disappointed with that. I feel the new owners need to honor and continue with that. I have been coming to this dealership for the past 6 years with the nissan cube and nissan frontier before that. I liked the service and have been dedicated to always take my cars there to get serviced. I hope the new owner will change their mind and continue to honor the free lifetime oil change.

Bad customer service. I got their, gave my keys to a lady and they never notified me how long it was going to take. Also, they change a part and I had to take the car again because they didnt installed it right.
My Dash Board was blinking at me, didnt know what it was. So I came in. It was Just a oil change and tire rotation.
I purchased a vehicle in Feb 2019, I traded my vehicle in at a different dealer over a month ago and contacted Nissan of Duarte to request assistance with canceling my GAP insurance. I have been getting nothing but the run around. I was transferred to a full VM box, unable to leave any messages. I was then advised by the finance manager that there is nothing they can do since the company was recently bought out. He referred me to an email which I have not received any response from. Very unprofessional, the dealer should be able to assist and avoid referring the customer to an email that does not respond, no contact information provided either.
Reported that dashboard ligh indicator issue and technicians not looked into it and nothing was recorded/updated in the work order..I am really scared to come and get work done from this location...My friends also had same/similar experiences...very very horrible
Our overall experience was better than we had anticipated. Our salesman Tim, was very helpful in explaining every detail of the car and helped me set up personal features as well. He was very kind and accommodating, the best car salesman I have every dealt with in my life. The sales manager made sure we left happy and that I was absolutely satisfied with my new car. I will definitely send all my friends and family to this dealership.
