Very good Mediterranean grocery shop. You will get fresh mutton, lamb from here. Also their bread is very fresh and tasty. They will accept all credit cards and debit card.Their customer service is awesome and friendly.
Good selection of Arabic herbs & spices. Some fresh produce. Flat breads, pita bread, desserts also sold here. Nice selection of teas & oils. Competitive prices. Always have items in stock.
They have a great range of British biscuits and sweets. The owner is a amazing and so friendly. They make you feel like youre a part of their family.
This review is only about the restaurant part of this grocery + fresh meat + restaurant shop.Love their chapli kabab, beef chapli is fantastic and chicken chapi is goo too. Much bigger and slightly thicker kabab compared to similar places in the area. Price keeps increasing a bit. As of 10/29/21 chapli was $13.99 with $2.49 additional if you order it with rice (without which the dish is not complete in my opinion).I have tried beef kobedeh too but prefer chapli. Chicken kobedeh and chiken tikka is good too.
Great quality fresh halal meat and a wide variety of middle eastern groceries available. The staff are very friendly. There is a conjoined restaurant/grill as well where they serve a good selection of Persian cuisine.
Wide variety of goods but lack of price tags. For most of the items, you learn the price at the register. If they fix this issue it will be good for us! Their prices are pricey. I hope they will fix these 2 issues
One stop 🚏 shop for all of your Mediterranean home cooking.Speciality in Meat. Clean and open well organized meat selection.Vegetables were not as Fresh...and limited selection. Howere as its a small shop...so no wonder they perhaps have not much space for wide selection.Dairy selection tailored to Mediterranean food.Lots of Pita 🫓 bread choices. They also have a small restaurant for a quick bite. I havent tried it so cant rate.Staff was friendly and responsive.
Best place to find our favorite Lavash bread around in this area. The staff is always nice and helpful.
The Price is higher than the similar market in the area; the food quality is not bad, but the quantity is not good; it does not worth the money. Most of the items in the store do not have a price label. I do not recommend this store.
Good place for Mediterranean grocery shopping, specialty food, bread, sweets and other items. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. Easy parking access.
Excellent market specializing in Middle Eastern food stuffs, good prices
I love the goat meat here. Although prices have gone up because of Covid. Fresh meat, beef, chicken and European biscuits are my favorite buys from here. Customer service is very nice.
Good products, spices, pastries and etc. Also can order delicious Mediterranean food.
Halal meat and personal choice cuts are easy to get. Run by Afghan family
Good meat options and their breads are really worth buying.
This place have no costumer service and also too expensive, today I went to buy bread one bread almost 4 dolors other Afghan store is 2 dollars I don’t recommend it this store very rude with no costumer service at all
These are just some samples of dry goods that were swiped clean by customers. Hope they get some more trucks in the next several days.
Raw Meat options are good, bit overpriced compared to adjacent areas. Ready-made tandoori chicken is blant and more food color than masala.
Great shopping expérience - quality products. I especially like the international food selection. The walnuts and dates are really good !I also heard the good things about the chicken wrap so I picked one up the last time I was in and really liked it. Meat was fresh and well marinated. Super yummy !
Very kind employees, a diverse selection of food, and they were slapping some fire music 🔥 The market also has a restaurant component with dine in seating available
Get the chappali kabob. Its bigger than my face and you get two of them.
I am very disappointed with this place. I am not from the area but I was told to try and I am extremely disappointed. Not only did it take over 20 minutes to make one plate but I was shocked to see the amount of food I saw after opening halfway through trip. I think $14 should be able to get you more than this.
Excellent customer service, authentic food, and a nice little market to shop in while waiting for your food?
I love this place we go there a LOT!! The food is really good the first time I went there was in 2018!!
Goat meat is good. But the food is average.
This is my go to shop for meat, I’m going there over 4 years now. Friendly people. Only issue I face often is the quality of goat meat. 3/10 times, I was given lamb meat instead of goat in the name of goat meat and $. Not sure it’s happening intentionally or not. One can easily sense the distinct flavor and smell of goat vs lamb when cooking and eating. Request management to take care of this. Also, I have allergy if I eat lamb and try to avoid it, but often I get to that. Hopefully management take this seriously.
A very good place for getting fresh goat meat
Sorry but I keep trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but it just keeps getting more disappointing. Beyond rude employees, questionable bills, and just the quality and prices are outrageous. I would avoid this place, and check out other smaller stores in the area, especially in Banou in Pleasanton!
Excellent kabob wraps - meat is very high quality and it’s tasty (I tried chicken and the ground beef one - I think called koobideh).I also got some meat from the butcher and it’s so fresh. Very happy with the experience. Will be back.
All varieties of bread and get fresh chicken and meat. Jalapeño bread is my favourite any time. We also get all groceries and vegetables. Sweets, deserts as well.
Sahara market carries a lot of other stuff including a small section for fresh groceries. However, for me it is my go to destination for Lavashe breads. They make them fresh everyday! Their jalapeno, cheddar and garlic version is simply too good! Those are made in limited quantities, so I would call ahead.
These guys do not know how to cut chicken or other meet. I had stopped going to them but for some odd reason stopped here again today but it was a total disappointment, as usual.
Very good quality of fresh chicken and goat.
Worst baklava I’ve ever tasted
Extremely disrespectful people especially butcher shop you asked them to cut the size small they will Say we only cut one size ... Also their prices are very high Highly recommend dont go there you will regret
Lot of stuff in the store, nice and clean. Havent tried meat yet, so cannot comment on meat quality.
Is very bad service and meat shop worker is so mean I never come back.We have 25 family In Friend Dublin Pleasanton I telling all my family and friend never never shopping anymore for this store
The most delicious food Ive ever had in my life! Wow! MashaAllahSo fresh, great portions. Too bad I dont live in dublin, I was just passing through.
Shopped from here a couple of times. They have some what variety of foods. I went there for Turkish selection and found quite a few items that I was looking for.Couple of things to note: they seemed a little pricey. Also my husband was paying at the cashier and owner seems like only gave him 2 bags for the so many items we bought which clearly wasn’t enough to put all the items in. Not sure why to cheap out on a plastic bag. We were fine to pay extra. 😅
The have really good nan 👍🏻
This store is small and very crowded and the worst customer service ever
VERY FRESH and ORGANIC foods and kabob meals. Highly recommend for this town!
Wonderful food 5 star 5 star
I hope this place stays in Dublin forever. I love how they mix groceries on one side and a cafe on the other side. The cafe offers great tasting middle eastern food at reasonable prices. The grocery seems to offer good selections as well. Parking is a bit crazy on weekends though.
You will get fresh goat, lamb, beef meat and chicken. However its more expensive than other vendors. And also there is a restaurant, where the food is good and freshly made. Happy shopping.
Dublin, CAA family member surprised us with a delicious dinner prepared with meats, breads and condiments from this Market. Persian and Iranian food is difficult to find, I was so intrigued and learned a little about this cuisine. They make a garlic bread which is supposed to be outrageous, topped with green herbs and jalapeno and or cheese, it was sold out when we visited:We tried:Chicken and Beef: grilled at home on BBQ-FantasticFlat BreadYogurt with Shallot like a kicked up onion dip-SO GOODBaklava YUMThe Market has tables and chairs if you want to order food cooked in. I would return.
Fresh meat and a wide variety of international foods
I love this place! Its an Indian supermarket, meat market, and has a restaurant connected to it. We always go there to buy halal chicken meat when we want to cook chicken curry. The chicken tastes much better than buying it in a regular grocery store. Much better quality. The butchers are helpful and will cut the meat any way you want it. They have a good selection of meats, some that you cant find at other places. We have only bought chicken, but their beef looks good too. Parking is annoying because the lot is small, and so is the entrance. Cars tend to take all the space when Im trying to pull in, making it difficult. Since cars also park along the street, leaving can be difficult at times because its hard to see around the cars on the street. Overall its a good little supermarket and has good selection. We go there frequently.
Owners are not friendly at all times especially during Ramadan...
The only issue in that place is the cashier changing the price manually in a sec. It happened to me many times and from now on I will keep my eyes on the screen what he charges. So that he can not add a couple bucks on top of it.
I enjoy food from this area. Its great to by the fixings or some finished products (when Im too lazy to cook). Prices are reasonable and the people were friendly
Great little surprise grill I was very impressed that they are actually fire cooking there food fresh when you order it not sitting under a heat lamp very taste very fresh and if you really enjoyed as much as we did you can actually purchase the meats right from the market. Definitely worth many visits either to the market or the restaurant
Theyre restaurant area serves really good food. Their marinated chicken is delicious and you can buy it at the market next door!
The people are sooooo nice!!! As we waited one of the worker gave us some tea and talked to us. Super nice staff and their market is amazing!!!
Nice place to purchase fresh meat, chicken & bread. I specifically like the way they cut chicken (the shape of each piece) and that it is already cut and packed. So all I have to do is put the chicken packet in my basket rather than wait for it to be cut.Their minced meat is a bit too minced for my standard.. But they are great for making Burger Patties and Meat Balls. The restaurant inside the market serve good food too.
Not well organized, the food was not very tasty & needs to improve the quality of food,
I get to eat here a lot since I work in the area. I love how their customer service is always great and they keep the place well kept constantly. Pricing is convenient and they serve sizeable portions.
We can find most of Iranian products there. The best item is the fresh baked bread.
Good options
Good place to buy chicken and goat meat although the latter is a tad expensive.their food court is great. The kabobs are juicy and very good quality
Its good for buying meat. Rest stuff is costly and the place is not clean
So Friendly Tnx so much
Amazing food!
The lab chops here and just amazing! I frequent this spot for that reason alone, although Ive tried various menu items and all were great. Highly recommend!
Middle eastern market plus takeout food.
The owner of Sahara Market who is originally Iranian is rude and rasist towards everyone except Iranian customers. He has horible customer service skills and treats everyone with disrespect unless you are Iranian. I shopped there the other day and had a very bad experience. He refused to place my grocey in the bag. On top of that his prices are double compair to other grocery stores and he dose not enforce proper social distancing or disinfecting surfaces after each customer. I will never shop there again.
Food is great. Terrible service. Waited 40 min for one order of food. People who ordered after me received their food first. Staff is very rude.
I like to take my family here to grab lunch. The folks are friendly. The food takes awhile but theres a tv to keep you occupied. The price is a tad on the higher side for the casual dine in and portion size. I really like the food! I like how its self serve water and condiments. You can do a little bit of international food shopping (delicious bread) too.
I had the chicken kabob plate, #7, and added rice for $1.99. The chicken was well seasoned and expertly grilled. The rice was so flavorful. Would have been better if bread served with combo was warm. The cashier, a young lady who may be a new hire, was not very helpful in explaining combinations. The lamb shwarma plate comes with salad and rice, but you dont have to eat that if you dont want to...
This place used to be good. New owners have successfully ruined a good business and place to buy. What problem should I talk about? We bought meat once and it was to worst and oldest meat. Another time we bought bread supposedly fresh, came home opened and was moldy. They mix the old breads with new ones. Rice doesnt have price so they charge whatever they want. Some items are on sale, like $1 off or something, but at register they charge full price and most of the times you dont notice it and once I did they told me it is an old sale from last week!!! Then why dont you take that paper off?!?!? So many complains. Stay away. Owner is just running this business into the ground.
Great prepared food. Super fresh flat bread the size of a surfboard!!!! The garlic one is amazing!
Great middle eastern food location. Wide selection of dishes, always fresh and super delicious very authentic cuisine. Great prices and very generous portions.
If you are looking for halal meat, this is the right place!! They have fresh meat and they make it available according to your needs. They also marinate the meat as per your requirement. They have very good bar.b.q stuff, must try. They carry all sorts of burgers, sausages, pepperoni ... all halal. Its a wonderful place to get halal food!!
The restaurant within provides amazing dishes, must try. They even sell breads called garlic jala etc which are too good.
I usually visit for fresh meat and kabobs. The meat is all Halal. This place always has customers, any time of the day and given the number of buyers - it sort of helps ensure that all the meat they sell is fresh, with no turnover from the previous day. They also serve freshly cooked hot food, I personally love the food.
Fragrant and fresh Naan provides a welcoming air, and neatly stacked shelves with helpful staff make the experience a memorable one.
Best halal meat, also all ingredients are available to cook authentic spicy meat.
Food here is great. And the rating here is for food. They have some persian stews and kabob that is absolutely fantastic and always the same taste and quality. They need just to clean up the sitting area quicker.
Been here a few times with my coworkers. Really good. They have a really huge, cheap bread there too, its so good.
Parsian grocery. Decently priced. You will find only specialty collections. You may still need to stop at a regular supermarket in your way back home
I like their selection of meats and very reasonable prices. The grocery selection is great too. I specifically love their restaurant (I mostly do to go)
Honest people selling honest to goodness products. I have been a costumer since 2015 and cant say enough. Their fresh produce, all products and their hot food are excellent!
They have great flat bread. I try to stop by and pick some up whenever convenient. Some hard to time groceries and a nice little restaurant.
Clean and organized store but seems very expensive for everything I purchased. Will not go back for the high prices.
Everything I needed in stock and great customer service as always.
Everything here looks good but always check your invoice! It is their common practice to over charge you for stuff you never bought.I went there at least 4 times and every time there is something irrelevant on my invoice.Extra bread, extra stuff. They always apologize but once is a mistake twice is a mistake but 4 times it is absolutely intensinnal.I asked couple of other friends they had the same experience.
Good place
The meat quality here is so good. You can buy good quality Goat meat here (non frozen)They also have a restaurant, they see kababs and dips etc.
Good Mediterranean market with lots of cool things
The portions are hearty. The food is very tasty and I love the fluffy rice. Wed definitely go there again.
First time here. Great food. Came out fast and tasted great.
Great food with great service in an unassuming environment. A perfect place for lunch and reasonable prices too.
Butcher are nice guys, give some tip, they are very happy to serve you. I am not saying, they are expecting it . They deserve it, appreciate the work they do for us
Guess its a indo-pak restaurant . you could get things easily here. Its a store Near Dublin. So, check it out
