Will never be a customer due to being accosted by an elderly employee in the back parking lot. Was trying to find a parking spot for ten minutes to run into work, tried the back lot on Michigan St.. I realize most are permitted or very coveted, however it was during the Superior St. redo and I was going to be 10 mins. I found an unmarked spot, pulled in and just as I put the car into park, a gray haired man, with glasses and a sweater was at my window. I unrolled my window to which he blurts out What makes you think you can park here? Taken aback at his tone, I simply said I guess I cant and I back out of the space. He continues to yell how its for employees by which time I was ready to pull out of the lot but I looked back at the spot to be perfectly sure that I was not incorrect in that it was an unmarked space. The elderly man then yells to me You got a problem with that? Again, Im rather stunned that he has become so enraged over a parking space, I looked to him and remind him that Please and thank you go a long way to which he began approaching my vehicle and responding with I dont use those on people like you! I shook my head and drove off.Twenty-four hours later Im still annoyed at this treatment and feel that it reflects poorly on this business. Normally, Id let it go. Probably shouldnt have even tried to park there, Im sorry. However, there was no need to treat me like that. If this is how they treat people, I shudder to think how they may treat customers.
