Had them do a long driveway on virgin land last fall. Then this year they did some grubbing to prepare an area for a garage and new house. Then they prepared the area for the garage with a building pad. Greg and his guys show up with the right equipment for the job, on time and ready to get right to work. Greg was always available to answer any questions I had. They did a fantastic job, cleaned up nice, did more than I expected and all at a very fair price. I would recommend them to anyone. They will be my choice for the new house and septic work. Great job done professionally and the correct way. Thank you Greg and crew!!!

I cant say enough about Greg Kunst and Sons! We hired them to finish our driveway, and the end product was beyond my expectations. They were professional, showed up when they said they would, and took extra time to make sure it was graded exactly how it should be. Beyond that bigger project, weve relied on them for deliveries of topsoil and rock, and have never been disappointed. I would definitely recommend this company.

I needed some topsoil on what I thought was a short notice. I requested it to be delivered by the end of the next day. The woman I spoke to (whos name I dont recall) seemed unsure, but said they would do their best. It was only 6 hours later in the middle of their busy schedule that I got 12 yards of topsoil delivered at what I felt was a very good price. The driver was very professional and the woman on the phone was very nice and very understanding of my request.I know I will likely need more topsoil to finish my project, but I will not hesitate to call them again next time I need anything.Fabulous service on short notice!

I needed a bunch of decorative rock for around my new garage and had no idea what I wanted. They let me drive to their inventory pit and pick out the type of rock I wanted, and told me the prices right there. They delivered next day. Rock looks great. Great service, start to finish.

Product is alright I guess. Talk to Greg on the phone and you’ll likely be inclined to leave a similar review. Where I come from, people get fired for talking to customers the way he does. Never again.

I first looked on their website and saw a comforting slogan of no job too big, or too small. This was good to see since I only needed 1 cubic yard of material. When I called for an estimate they said they cant deliver just one cubic yard of sand, the minimum is two yards, but if I wanted I could pay for two yards and just receive one (maybe this job WAS too small). So, I figured, thats ok, and I order two cubic yards of screened sand. On top of the sand, it was 65$ delivery fee. I said to myself, alright well, you should do the job right no matter the price. So when the truck pulls out of the driveway and drives away I am left with my screened sand. I took one look and found about a four foot root (not sure what kind) right away. Throughout further inspection, I kept finding 6-10 inch roots and quarter inch rocks in my screened sand. Im not sure what they used to screen it, but obviously they forgot to screen it, didnt screen it or used the wrong pile. I then, had to go through two more screening processes to screen the screened sand on my own to get what I thought I was originally getting in the first place. And now, I had about half the product left, and only half of it was useable. So I got ripped off, in labor and price. Being a 16 year old kid, 140$ isnt chump change for me, so I figured I should invest in the screened sand instead of getting the unscreened sand figuring I would save time, but it turns out I wasted even more time, and money. Extremely frustrated.

I had a major transfomation done to my narrow, 1960s driveway, in a day and a half.I was totally amazed in the difference, from one day to the next! WOW! I have never enjoyed more, working with this wonderful family run business. They are 5 star all the way.

I purchased property next to my house that had a old house that needed to be taken down. Greg Kunst and sons did the work for me. They handled everything from the paperwork, capping off the water and sewer and and then came back and removed the house and leveled everything and complete with top soil all in one day. I also had a small load of dirt delivered at a later date for my other yard. They are very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly group with very reasonable pricing. I wouldnt hesitate to hire them again.

Greg was very rude and did not want to help me . Seemed like he didnt want to get dirty kept making excuses about how he couldnt help me, cause the top soil was wet. Never had issues getting dirt from any where for planting. Would not recommend them to any one.. The office lady was very nice and probably the smartest one there. I run my own business and thats not how you treat customers . Id fire my employee if he drove sales away cause he didnt want to get dirty.

I used Kunst Excavating for an emergency repair to a sewer line on my property. They were honest, on time and more than accommodating to my familys needs. I would recommend this company to anyone in need of their services and plan to use them again this summer.

I called Kunst looking for an estimate and they never called back. I tried them a week later and they told me to find someone else. Very rude on the phone and I dont think they should talk to people the way they did, especially customers.
