Came in to trade some cards to get some value towards buying an Underground Sea, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly! Their prices are a little bit steep compared to some other places - but theyre extremely generous with trade-in value, have the best reserved list inventory out of any LGS within a 40 minute drive of me, and are really good with their grading. Will definitely be shopping here again for some RL cards I need πŸ˜„

I really dig this shop. The guys are friendly, they have a wide selection and fair pricing. They also have an expansive singles collection. I have been able to build new decks and augment existing ones from their selection. The guys there are also very chill and its awesome to just chat about new and old cards and get ideas. This is a great shop and I will continue to shop with them.

The staff is great. Always friendly. I sell my cards here all the time. I recommend researching your cards value before you sell them here. Of course you wont get full value when trading, but usually its not too far off from what you should get from them. But in some instances, their buy price is way lower than actual value. In general though, theyre pretty great and Ive recommended these guys to friends.P.S. For what its worth, these guys dont weigh their packs. I usually sell more than buy here, but from what I have bought, Ive gotten good pulls.

They price gouge PokΓ©mon cards.. Double or even triple than most places because they know about the shortage. A $12 pack will cost you almost 30 just because of the character on the front of the back. No this is not illegal but it’s definitely shady business operations. PokΓ©mon is a kids game.

I had given them a 5 star review but had to change this and come add this comment.I have always given these guys high remarks. The staff is so friendly and we love coming here...But if youre selling them any collections, make sure you know the worth of the items. For example, something they will turn around and sell for $150 owners will offer you $30 for.Depends on who you get. If they sit there and look up the prices theyll give you the right price. But on more than one occasion we have had items brought back to the owner (or maybe manager, I have yet to this day to meet him myself) to value it at a glance and felt very undercut, never enough to really say anything....this last time was by far the worst. We expected a 50% cut from retail value, that is what we are normally given. But this last time was pretty appalling.I still love the staff, I think theyre great guys, but we will certainly think twice before selling here again, and if we do, we will always request that each individual item is looked up in the computer for their actual value.

The Wasteland Gaming is by far the worst trading card game store in North America. Their employees know next to knowing about the products they sell. If you do not stay on top of them, they will sell you product for higher than the store’s sticker price. I made the mistake of giving them chance after chance to fulfill my orders. Almost every single time they mess it up, don’t have it ready on time, and often mess up the simplest details such as store pickup. If you are in the trading card game community in Georgia, you know that Wasteland has the worst reputation among them. One visit inside of the store or onto their website will show that they clear out retail locations to scalp products for 200-500% of the cost. This fact alone is slightly understandable due to the current card bull market. I hope the ownership here knows that the complete lack of employee knowledge, customer service, and laughable prices will leave them without a customer base this Fall when the bull market is over and Georgians choose to shop at other stores. Do yourself a favor and shop at Giga-Bites, Galactic Quest, Level Up, Auggie’s, or any local store instead of Wasteland. I will not be shopping in store, online, and have blocked the store on TCGPlayer. I suggest you do the same for the sake of the trading card community.

My friend ordered cards from them and they canceled the order after the card went up in price. Their online stores are full of negative reviews and their trade policy seems abysmal at best but close to highway robbery at worst . I would avoid this store, they are not a honest business. The absolute lack of integrity is appalling and I am deeply dissapointed seeing a store that represents the mtg/card game/hobby community so poorly, I can say with certainty all stores are not as shameless as this one.

WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCEIve ordered roughly 15k of TCG over the past 6months. Id consider myself a decent spender, that said, my last order of about $400 of cards to complete my sets arrived DMG, I purposely on all my orders select NM.See photos. When I messaged The Wasteland Gaming, they showed ZERO compassion, and wouldnt offer me a full refund, or exchange. They offered me $60....thats a joke. The cards were damaged in transit, why do I need to suffer from this as a client? Also be warn, these guys ship most cards without any sleeves, I get no sleeve on regular holos and reverse rares...but common secret rares worth $50+ put a darn sleeve on it!My issue wasnt the damaged cards, though that can be frustrating, my issue is the lack of customer service to provide the buyer with a reasonable compensation or exchange.BUYER BE WARN, pray your cards arrive in a good condition - no customer service if they dont.

I stopped in with my husband yesterday to look at PokΓ©mon cards. We were traveling on vacation and only had that time to stop in. We had heard so much from LootBoxTV that we made a point to stop in.We were told the only way to look at the vintage cards was on these two computers that looked like they have NEVER been cleaned and there was NO sanitizing supplies for customers to use to clean the keyboard and mouse. Apparently people that go to wasteland must be immune to COVID....? We spent 15-20 minutes trying to go thru the cards on a very annoying website that had cards in the wrong sets. For example choose Skyridge gave us all cards from the HGSS base set. Also the website appeared to be only available in store so you could not do this prior to entering the store. We selected about $80 worth of cards and were planning to look at playmats and plushies. We were not told that the process for looking at cards was that you first purchased the cards, then if you were dissatisfied you could return them. We assumed like several other stores that we would review the cards we selected and then make a purchase. The clerk explained it trying to say something like β€œwell what if we get them out and you don’t like the condition of the cards? Then we’d lose a sale.” Well DUH. That’s how card shops work. That’s how most shops work. After viewing what we had chosen, the clerk offered to get out the cards for us, but by this point we were genuinely annoyed and wanted to get away from the logic presented to us.the store was FILTHY. The plushies were on shelves with dirt. Actual dirt. Not a layer of dust. It was on several of the plushies as well. I didn’t even want to touch some of the plushies because you could see the dirt on them. The black shelves did not hide the dirt. It was the nastiest shelves I’ve ever seen. I dropped a plushie behind the shelves and did not even want to pick it up. I did, only after my husband made fun of me.The quality of the grading of cards was also in my opinion low. I felt the quality of the card we got was not LP but actually MP+. It was not the experience I expected and I’ve been to many card shops spanning many cities and states. That by far was the lowest on the totem pole for me.

I have played competitive Magic the Gathering at about 10 stores in the metro Atlanta area. There are several really good ones. Easily though, this is my favorite place to play. They have ample play space and restrooms. There are multiple options for getting a meal within walking distance. Their selection of singles is ample, if not all-encompassing. They also have, hands down, the best staff I have encountered at a gaming store. They are friendly, helpful, and available. The Gaming Pit also has the best prize support (for weekly tournaments) that I am aware of, and I can count on playing against a top-level player if I am able to do well in one of their competitive events. Although I do not participate, I am aware that The Gaming Pit hosts casual Magic the Gathering events as well as events for various other games. I would encourage anyone to check em out!

Theres a decent selection, and the prices for the packs are very reasonable. The staff are super nice and insightful on the products. Two thumbs up.Edit 2 stars: Normally Ill swing by to get packs and be in and out in a couple of minutes. Today I went in and waited for 15 minutes while one of the worker was quoting a guy on some cards. That was fine, but in those 15 minutes not once were there any confirmation to let us know that we will eventually be helped. I get it. Its a casual spot to hang out with your buds and play some magic. Sometimes some transactions take longer than others. It would have been nice to have some sort of acknowledgement while we were waiting instead of being straight up ignored.
