Cutest little store in the Northland. I do not know what half of you are on when your writing a bad review for this store you must be on crack because this store has such cute vibes! Chris the owner is the best and such a kind soul. To who ever wrote a bad review your irrelevant. I love this store so much. I bought these 3 wool plaid blankets at Northwoods store... I love the look on my ladder at the cabin! The store was clean and the help was awesome! I bought my grandchildren turtle & heart key chains to put on their backpacks..I guess its the thing at their elementary school.. fun store stop in sometime!

Rude staff and owners. Went in 10 minutes before they closed, I understand that they closed at 7 by the fact I can read and saw the hours on the sign when I walked in but it was also reiterated by multiple staff members that followed me around the store telling me they closed at 7. The store is small and all in all I would have had no issue being in and out in 10 minutes, so there was no need for the way they acted. I walked out without buying anything, because why spend money at a place that obviously didnt want my money.

Terrible service! Manager approached my 8 year old son by YELLING and told him he was not allowed in the store due to not wearing a mask. She has every right to refuse service but please conduct yourself professionally and think about how you approach human beings especially children. Very disappointed in how this was handled.I indicated he had a medical condition and she said it doesnt matter and he needs to be outside. REALLY?? How can this be OK?

Great store with welcoming staff. I appreciate the seriousness in which they take the health and safety of their staff and customers during this COVID pandemic. Too many people are acting like this novel coronavirus isn’t a thing, but it’s killed over 180,000 Americans in 2020 (And over 800 positive cases in St. Louis County here in MN) and we continue to see spikes of infection because people aren’t practicing enough infectious precautions. This is why I appreciate Northwoods so much. All the staff their are amazing and helpful when I have questions or want to know what’s new in the store. I recommend following them on Facebook for updates. You can find delicious treats and a huge variety of wonderful gifts and clothing items for any occasion.I have noticed that people are writing negative reviews because of their anti-mask beliefs and it is clear that those people don’t really care about keeping their community safe or taking responsibility for their choices in not masking. If someone can’t wear a mask for a medical reason then they shouldn’t be out in public anyway where there is higher risk of community spread of infection. These people could have been responsible and called the store to ask for accommodations such as curbside pickup or asking if they are carrying what the customer is looking for, but instead they decided to try to break the infectious precautions and were angry when they got called out on it.Again, I appreciate that the staff are enforcing compliance with wearing masks during this health crisis and anyone trying to shame this store for caring about infectious precautions need to really do some self-reflection about how selfish they are being by ignoring infectious precautions during this pandemic.

This store is super cute and has such unique and one of a kind t shirts that they design their selves and print in the back of the store!!! one of a kind won’t find anything else like it in duluth!! They also have a great mask and cleaning policy set in place that makes me and my friends feel super safe while shopping!!!

My mom and I had a great experience visiting this cute store. The owner was so friendly and helpful. They offer a wide variety of home decor, candy, and apparel so it’s easy to find something for anyone. This will definitely be on our list to visit whenever we come to Duluth!

Such a welcoming and sweet (no pun intended) store! Great staff, cute product, and responsible management and procedures with covid going on. I have returned and bought many sweatshirts and shirts, probably more than I should admit, and the quality is amazing. 10/10, definitely make it a stop on your trip to Duluth to pick up some new clothes and yummy treats!:)

This store is one of my favorites in Duluth! Excellent customer support, COVID policies, and overall friendly environment. Although it can be hard to enforce, I appreciate how dedicated the workers are to keeping our public safe by enforcing the mask laws. I also really like that they print their shirts in house with original designs, super cool!

Was shopping in this store over the weekend and there was 3 or 4 younger aged girls working. While in the store all of the girls were very loudly having a conversation about the dumb things customers do and say when in the store or calling in with questions. It was extremely unprofessional and rude.

What kind of customer service is this? Politely enforcing a mask rule is okay. But what the manager did in this store was out of line. I personally wear a mask to stores, but my friend can’t because of severe Athsma and has a doctor’s note stating so. When we entered, the manager approached her coldly and shouted “WE REQUIRE A MASK HERE.” And motioned her out despite my friend offering a doctors note of proof. My friend then told me she’d wait for me outside, so I lingered for a minute and wandered over to the jewelry station where I watched the manager march over and start saying disrespectful things about my friend in a very gossipy way to another colleague (I don’t think she realized I was was with my friend shopping) and I was totally disgusted. Enforcing a rule is one thing. Maybe even slightly aggressively so out of personal views — but to say disgusting things about a customer behind their backs where everyone within ear shot can hear them?Honestly I will never shop here and I hope this alerts people to avoid this place. Customer service begins with the right attitude. And the people working here do not know how to deliver that.

I have some mugs and apparel from this store and love them. Always enjoy stopping in and seeing what new and exciting things they have.

Owner starts screaming at young children who don’t wear mask. She also says that babies need to wear a mask. We had a 7 month old and all we wearing a mask but the 7 month old. She started yelling and kicked us out. Will never return to this place.To be clear City ordnance is anyone over the age of 10. Forcing infants to wear a mask is not safe.She also just kicked out a lady with a doctors note.Psycho owner

The second I walked into the store the lady raced towards me yelling that I must have a mask on. I have a medical exemption and had my doctors note out and in hand and have been going into other duluth shops with no problems as they can’t and shouldn’t discriminate against it. The lady Yelled at me and shooed me out the door almost instantly and my friend left shortly afterwards saying that the store owner started talking negatively about me to the other customers and accusing my doctors note to be fake! It made me feel so bad and I told another business about it and she said duluth ordinance says they are suppose to work with people who have medical exemptions and that I was totally welcome in her store. I’ll be happily shopping at Duluth Pack instead. I really used to love this store but you’ve lost my business forever..

DO NOT SHOP IN THIS STORE! I walked in with my son (7) and my baby daughter and she screamed at us asking for the kids, including the baby, to wear a mask. My son is still in tears because of how she acted. A candy store owner to be mean to kids is insane. HORRIBLE PLACE! Wish I could give it 0 stars.
