Unfortunately I would not trust these guys ever again!Paid list price for a 27 True it and was happy. My first reel mower & Im trusting and learning. I vividly remember them telling me that they do not recommend back lapping the blades because it does not last long. As normal, my new machine was dull & needed sharpening after a month & a half or so, I took it back to Peachtree for service and after a couple days and $198.00 it was back at my house working well. I was surprised to see it dull again after another 4 weeks or so and I found another company, closer to me that serviced bunches of machines so I took it there. This company had 50 to 75 machines they were servicing indicating they are more of a service company than a sales company. When I took my machine in I let them know that I was a new owner and appreciated any education. I asked about back lapping, which Peachtree did not recommend, vs full grinding. They showed me where only maybe a sixteenth of the blade had been touched and the bed knife was shinny,,,indicating it had been backlapped. I picked my machine up today and was shown where the blade was sharpened all the way across as opposed to the sixteenth of an inch backlapped. They also let me know they charged $65.00 to backlap, they charged me $90.00 for a full grind.PEACHTREE MOWER SCREWED ME ONCE BUT NEVER AGAIN!!
The Best knowledge and customer service...Thank you
Wayne & Cope are wonderful, kind people. They walked me through the operation of my new reel mower and shared with me the dos and donts. This is my first reel mower and feel like I could call them at anytime for advice. They also had the best price with the roller already installed. Would recommend them to anyone.
Wouldve have been nice to know that you guys are only open 2 days a week during February. Drove all the way down here (42 miles) because the hours on google say Sat 9-2.Went and bought a 27 Tru-Cut at Howard Brother for $820 with bagger and roller instead.
Great service. I had a basic idea of how to take care of a reel type mower but the owner and staff went out of their way to show me how to use the equipment, what type of service I would need, how often, everything. Before purchasing the mower they asked questions about the size and lay of the land that I was going to mow. After all was said and done, I walked away with a mower, and handouts on how to better manage my lawn and the type of fuel additive to use with the gas in the mower.
Wonderful costumer service. Every one there was very friendly. They explained everything to me and my mower is doing great . 5 stars!
A great group of guys who really know what there doing, a pleasure to do business with!!
If youre looking for someone who knows about reel mowers this is the place to go top-notch guys
Used them for years servicing my tru-cut. Always been very happy with their service.
Awful customer service experience. After some checking... they are known for refusing to do basic work on anyones mower and pushing HARD for you to trade in your reel mower for one of their refurb units. They mention all the fixes that your unit requires, then for some reason refuses to do the work. Even if the customer is willing to pay for some or all of the work. Very unusual experience.I will not be returning and would not recommend them to anyone.
If you want a golf course look in your yard a reel mower is a must. Peachtree is your place.
If you need a reel mower, this is the place to go. That is all they do. They are experts.
