The lot that I have my car thru sent it over to these guys who rebuilt my transmission. It was driven for about 3 hours before something happened. It was also broke down about 25 miles from home, but when we contacted them, they sent a tow truck to go get it. Theyve promised to fix it along with another issue Ive had since 2 weeks after I got the car. Ive had an issue with 1 of the young guys that works down there and his smart mouth, but I have great faith in Mark and his shop! Thanks guys and I CANT wait to get my Delilah back on the road!!!!

These guys go above and beyond from my continued experince with them. I dont particularly trust the chain companies around here, because we seem to always be a number. But these guys are the ones you want looking at your car, because they are actually looking versus holding an electronic device in their hands. Top notch mechanics!

Friendly service

I’m a disabled veteran and Precision Auto is making my life much more difficult. My truck is still in their shop. I gave them a used Edelbrock carb to install in place of a Quadra Jet carb. They said it would be done by the end of the day but they had to purchase the mounting kit so it would take a little longer. Now all they have done is upcharged me since that time. Claiming it’s for diagnosis of why the carb is flooding, which should be included in the installment because a good mechanic knows that you can’t just replace a carburetor without adjustments, the 3 main issues would be high fuel pressure, dirt in the needle and seat, or the float level. If the proper tools are used for this diagnosis then they should take no more than an hour to diagnose between the 3. They initially charged me 2 hours and I was fine with that but now it’s up to $400 and some odd dollars and considering that they have had my truck for 4 days now and I’m continually losing money because I use my truck for work I feel they are being dishonest and overcharging. What happened to sticking to your word and if you don’t feel competent enough to complete the job then don’t except it. In conclusion I would have rather kept the truck home and done it myself. Since this is the kind of ethics Precision Auto uses then I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone for mechanical work.Update: I called for an update on my truck and the phone was handed to Mike in the front office. He told me they hadn’t done anything else with the truck but the carb would need a fuel pressure regulator or a rebuilt. I told him that I wasn’t happy with the continual price raises so he told me “if you don’t like it come and get it”, which is impossible for me since it doesn’t run at the moment. Terrible customer service and professionalism Mike.Last entry: My truck has been at Precision Auto for a week now and the carburetor floats are staying all the way open or all the way closed. My bill is $400 and I went from a running truck to a not running truck. Precision Auto has let me down. So now I will tow my truck home somehow and attempt to fix it myself because it’s not worth me giving them anymore money to not know the outcome. They said they would rebuild it but that would take my total to over $800. At this time I highly do not suggest using Precision Auto for any mechanic services.

They were super nice but they told me, I needed a new transmission. I went to another place and all I actually needed was a coil, safety switch, and a fuel pump. Almost wasted a $1100 bucks I hardly have. Thanks but no thanks.

Horrible work. Transmission rebuild lasted barely over a yr then said, after told me they give 90day or 3 yr warranty, I only had a 12 month warranty. Guess I was just special. Wouldnt recommend their work or customer service.
