Only place that had what I needed. They told me over the phone no payments except cashier checks accepted. When I got here they were running credit cards like crazy. I would not recommend this place. They dont seem to care about the customer

Not too bad of a place to unload/deliver lumber. Just be sure to get here the evening before and park up because the parking lot gets real tight with a lot of trucks early in the morning.

I made it here at 7:00 am to be unloaded and it’s now 10:00 slow slow

People, Stop wasting your time with these lumberyards Home Depot and Lowe’s can give you the exact same product with a lot less hassle and better service . The same tree that Produced that 2 x 4was sold at Home Depot as well as 84 lumber.Lowes has just as much Buying power as 84 lumber Also don’t forget Lowes is one of the oldest lumberyards in the US.

I ordered 8 2x6x8 cedar boards, paid, and was told they would have them wednesday. Thursday i called since i hadnt heard from them. Took 15 minutes for them to find my order and they tell me they charged me for 2x4x8 so i have to pay more when i get there. I had a receipt with order paid and they refused to honor it. Got a refund and went elsewhere. I dealt with Ishmael.

I went to the Duncanville location this morning and asked about pergola material and asked for advice but the guy that attended me just looked at me and rolled up his eyes and seemed very arrogant kept telling me that what I was looking for was going to be very expensive and it was going to be specially ordered . I have plenty of money, all I need is good customer service.In the same room there was another guy who Printed me a price quote ..but I am not going back there to buy nothing.

84 lumber has the Worst customer service ever!!! The store manager Just now came to my home site and went off on me because his store didn’t go off of my engineering design plans. He’s too busy wanting to point the finger instead of solving the problem.Way too much on the order. Don’t trust or do business with this company. I wish that I didn’t.

2x lumber in long lengths available. All types of siding, windows, trim and doors. No electrical or plumbing at this store. Older types of siding can be ordered thru 84 lumber. Great prices.

Worst experience, bad customer service, and crazy wood, took forever for a forklift operator to come around and take our order.he cane back with crazy wood .we retured the wood and went to home depot.

Terrible customer service! Purchased materials for a new home and it seems like no one here knows what they are doing. The person doing the estimating was charging double on certain material, we had to go and complain to get it corrected after trying to get a hold of them several times. Now that the material has been purchased they say they do their estimating by hand! No estimating plans were given to us, just the same floor plans we gave them but marked up with a pencil. On top of all that, the guy helping us tells me whatever after I explain to him that we were told we were going to be given computer drawn plans showing exactly were the materials were going to be placed so we could see exactly where they got the amount a materials. How do we know we are not being sold extra material that is not needed. There is a reason why they are the cheapest, you get what you pay for. Save you time and money and go with Davis-Hawn Lumber, they have fantastic customer service!!!

My fiancé just went in to purchase Trex composite, and after buying 20 pieces at $822 (37.95 a piece) from their garland location this lumber company tried to sell 6 for $370. (Trying to charge us $61 a piece!) Once they were corrected on the price they went down to $288. FOR 6 pieces. He was told that they are a lumber yard and are allowed to do that depending on how valuable the customer is. After correcting them the Second* time they then moved the price down to $244. the manager thought some stickers of 84lumber would make up for it*. In other words they let it* be known how they make their money, and adjust their prices. Never visiting here again, and if you do i would check the pricing with each visit and compare before you get ripped off.

This company and its store manager are ridiculous. After buying from this company for years and dealing with their unorganized ways, we continued to be loyal and referred many friends and family. Today, we were accused of paying off employees for extra material. When I asked for the proof via camera and staff, the store manager blows it off and states doesn’t want to get in the middle of it and refuses to sell to us. This store manager didn’t state we have investigated the employees, checked cameras, or we will further investigate, he just didn’t want to get in the middle of it. Little does this idiot know, his employees could be stealing from him and covering it up by accusing a customer or more for that matter. What kind of place are you running??? I do not recommend this place not only for the false accusations but for the lack of organization, lack of communication with their customers, and for the terrible customer service. Don’t tip their employees either, might think your paying them off for extra material.

If you have never been be prepared to get looked at like your lost. They acted like they didn’t want my business and basically didn’t assist us. I was looking for wood for my fence and I wasn’t even allowed to look at the wood. Wouldn’t recommend...
