Usually don’t give 5 stars, but these guys were great. Just moved from Kansas City and my truck started acting up on the drive, Sam got us right in, took care of the issue and I had my truck back in 1 day. Very knowledgeable and fair. We will definitely be back.

These guys are great. They were busy when I pulled in with a screw in my tire. Was told by Sam(?) to come back in a 1/2 hour and they would take care of it. Came back after breakfast and they had me on my way within 20 minutes. They also gave me a quote for tires for my truck which was extremely fair. Ill definitely be back

This is the 2nd time I have brought one of my vehicles to Mavis in Dunedin FL and have been treated like a queen. The first time I had a flat and went across the street to a competitor and they would not give me the time of day so I brought my car to Mavis and they took great care if me. So this time when I had a flat tire I called on the way home from work and Jim told me about 2 other Mavis locations that might be open still. I decided to come to my local Mavis on Saturday instead. On Saturday I brought my vehicle in and was taken care of very promptly and again was treated like royalty. Carrie was also very helpful in making the process smooth and as easy as possible. I would highly recommend Mavis and the store in Dunedin FL specifically.

First time customer. I ended up getting a bolt in my tire and looked up the closest shop. Mavis was the closest and Im glad it was. They were very friendly when I first came in. The service was great and very quick as well and they dont try to rip you off like a lot of places. Makes a huge difference too for a 100% disabled combat vet with sole custody of my son where every bit counts. I will definitely be back for any further work!

I cannot say enough good things about the service manager, Jim, from Mavis Dunedin... I recently moved to Dunedin, FL from Pennsylvania. I purchased a 2000 Jeep Cherokee to use as my daily driver and have had nothing but issues... Not knowing anyone out here yet, Jim has gone out of his way and drove to my house the last two mornings to give me a jump and help me get my vehicle into his shop. Being fresh out of grad school Ive been worried these issues would really ruin me because i cant afford much more. He has saved me money in the process, but more importantly made me feel like Im not alone out here and showed me there are people out here willing to lend a hand out of their own good will. We are still working on my vehicle and hes still guiding me through this process, but because of the above described Im not to worried. Thanks a lot Jim... I was in major need of having my tires replaced ASAP. I came in late after work not long before closing time and the staff here was VERY helpful and willing to do whatever it took to get the work done.They had a great attitude and provided exceptional service. Great place! Appointment was for 9, when they open. Sam had me in at 8:55 to hep get the process going and tires were done by 9:30. They noticed some additional wear on the inside driver tire, which made sense due to my driving habits, and hooked me up with an alignment. Great service, speed and thoroughness. They keep the Mavis reputation going!

Developed a leaking tire and it was going to take 12 days to get in with my normal dealer. I needed to get it handled as quickly as possible, and it was on a Sunday as well. I took it over to Sam at Mavis and he gave us a great offer and said he could take care of everything immediately - so we decided to go ahead and get all of our tires replaced. Everything was done before noon. Richie did the work and did a great job. This team came through for us when we needed it and earned our business going forward. Thank you!

Nope, Im done with these guys. Simple oil change, and Im told after they do the change that theyre not going to honor the coupon obtained through the website because I brought my own oil and filter. Which makes no sense, because they used none of their own stock,, drain and fill with free tire rotation. Shouldnt matter that I supplied the oil and filter. If it mattered, advise before the work is done.

Mavis took excellent care of me. I had a nail in my tire late in the afternoon on a Saturday. I went to a different tire store and they could not help me. So I drive down the road to Mavis. They took care of me the second I walked in the door, they fixed the tire in under 15 minutes and I was back on the road. Best customer service!

Went into the shop today with a leaking valve stem on a trailer tire as well as a screw in the side tread of the tire.I asked the gentleman to assess the situation and let me know if I need a new tire. He came back and said all you needed was your valve stem tightened and I took the embedded screw out. I thanked him and told him I would meet him inside to pay him and he said no bill.Of course I tipped him generously and thanked him for making my problem his priority in the moment. Excellent service and well done.

Thursday night, I popped my tire against a curb. I didnt have a spare and needed some quick assistance. I called a tow truck, which took forever to come get me. Finally, it showed up at 8:15 and got me to Mavis at 8:25 where Jim was waiting for me. He previously told me that if I could get my car there before 8:30, he would gladly put a tire on. He met me with a smile, sold me a tire with no hidden fees and chatted me up while we waited for it to be put on. He was a life saver and a genuinely amazing dude. HIGHLY recommend Mavis to anyone in need of assistance or general tire maintenance.

Saw a silver flash on my rear tire today. Large piece of metal embedded into tire. Didnt want to pull it out and have it go flat in the driveway, so I brough it up the street to Mavis. They took it right in and patched it in no time. Manager there on duty at all times overseeing the work. I continue to have a positive experience at Mavis every time I stop there. I would say that Carrie is a breath of fresh air. Got me in right away. Very professional. But not only that she talks to you like a normal person and will make you want to come back when there is another issue with your vehicle. She is probably your biggest asset now and will be your biggest asset in the future.

If you are looking for honest, professional, and great service- then Mavis Tires and Brakes located at 1810 Main Street is the place to go. I noticed my right rear tire appeared low, as I attempted to use the self service air pump located at the main entrance, Jim instructed me to swing around to the side by the bays and have one of the service individuals assist me. Sam immediately sent someone to check the air pressure of each tire. He informed me to keep an eye on the back passenger tire and if it should it get low have it looked at. I drove off and returned later that day as the tire was losing air. Sam immediately took the tire off and informed me the wheel/rim was causing the tire to lose pressure. He explained to me how he was going to resolve the issue and advised me to get new wheels/rims. Instead of selling me all new tires he chose the honest and professional way! I highly recommend this facility and will certainly be a repeat customer.

Customer service means a lot. I could easily go down the street to another tire place there are a million of them. But, I found out quickly why this particular establishment has almost 5 stars on Google. I walked in and dealt with Garrett I believe his name was. He must be the MOD. And if he isnt he easily could be. He gave my work order to Chris and he was pretty cool too. Unfortunately it wasnt a quick patch. I had a brad nail on the inside of the tire right in the sidewall. Chris sold me a new tire and had it balanced and on my car in no time. Then the girl at the counter was super cool too. Carrie I believe. She actually offered me a pedicure while I waited for the tire. So nice these people! Im kidding lol no pedicure but she was very nice as well. Mavis on Main St. in Dunedin is the only place I will take my cars to from now on. And that there is no joke. Thanks everyone.

Well, I woke up this morning to a flat tire. I was able to drive it to Mavis. I have never used Mavis before, but Im sure glad I did! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They got me in right away and immediately went to work on my tire. Unfortunately, it wasnt repairable. I needed a new tire. Today I had an appointment to get my oil changed and tires rotated. When I show up at the shop the Mrg is arguing with a customer. I walk in and before I say a word he tells me he can’t help me. I tell him I have an appointment and he tells me he is too busy.I ask what they don’t look at the computer and call people an hour prior to their appointment if he can’t fulfill it. He said too busy for that and he is short handed. Kind of rude I guess he is frustrated but I’m guessing I’m not the first one he ran off today.Well back to the Ford Dealer I guess.David

So today Must be my lucky day.I drove around all over Palm Harbor and Clearwater looking for someone to check my brakes. I was either ignored or so busy and was turned away before even asking for asst. Well my last hope was to go to Mavis in Dunedin. Well I must say I was greeted with two big smiles with the comment welcome to Mavis how can we help you by Carrie who is new asst manager and also Jim the Manager. I said I know its Friday you are probably to busy to check out my brakes. Jim said I do not want you to leave here without us checking your brakes he did explain leave your car if you want to go to eat something he recommended Norton Restaurant. So within 1hr Carrie called and explained my brake pads were very worn and my rotors needed to be replaced. I told the nice lady Carrie go head and replace them. Jim called me when my car was ready and even showed me my old warn brake pads. I was do pleased and grateful that there are good people who care about others. Thank you to you both. Thank you to Mavis Tires for your excellent service! We were packing our car for the drive home when we noticed a low tire pressure indicator. A search on Google showed Mavis, Dunedin, nearby with good ratings. We got there when they opened, and they worked us into their schedule. Within an hour we were on our way home. The technician found the nail in our tire, and the tire was able to be patched and rebalanced. They run a very professional operation and it made for peace of mind on the long drive home.

When I came in to Mavis tire yesterday I was a physical reck. The local Buick dealership had ripped me off for hundreds of dollars. I was crying and shaking badly. Carrie and the Manager spoke to me with such confidence and knowledge I was able to explain my problem. Over the next 2 days mechanic Sam was able to fix the issues with the car at almost half the cost of the Buick dealership. I extend my heartfelt thanks to the team at Mavis tire .

Jim, the manager, deserves 10 stars! (not 5) I am a single woman who knows zero about car maintenance. I could have very well been taken advantage of in my helpless state. A debacle with their appt call center and a set of missing pre-ordered tires from their inventory system could have caused me to walk out that door and never set foot in this store again. But....Jim was quick on his feet to apologize and talk to me about an alternative plan. He went so far above and beyond that I truly believe he delivered the most amazing customer service Ive ever had. Within minutes he located a new set of tires and called a porter to have them deliver shortly after. He cared enough to get me exactly what I wanted and also suggested things I needed. He also gave me a generous discount for all the trouble. Annnnd did I mentione that he was extremely entertaining while I waited!?! How much better could a tire buying experience be??? I will be returning to this location for all my car maintenance needs. Thanks again Jim and staff! You definitely know how retain a client for life. :)

My first time at Mavis in Dunedin and it wont be my last. I came in for tire rotation/alignment with NO intention of getting new tires... BUT i absolutely needed a full set of new tires! *JIM* hella worked with me on pricing and offered the FLEX program which is a buy now pay later type deal which helped me immensely... *SAM* didnt put me back on the road when he knew it would be unsafe which I really appreciat. Even though it meant a longer wait, Im sure it saved me in more ways than one!! Much appreciation and thanks yall!!!

Would just like to say, folks there are extremely accommodating…I recently had issue with my tire, unfortunately not able to fix due to a screw in tire, was not able to fix due to tire condition. However referred me where to go to get a used tire as unable to afford new one!

I was filling up my tires today at their free air station before they were open and noticed my front inner tires were showing threads. I went home to drop off my groceries and immediately called them to see if it was possible to get squeezed in. I had little hope as I called on the day of and it was the weekend. To my surprise Jim said hell squeeze me in and to come down ASAP. I was guided by I believe Chris through the purchase of 2 new tires. Never was I pressured to do or buy anything besides what I needed which was amazing. Chris literally took me to my car and explained to me that I had worn out suspension issues and what needed replacing. From top to bottom they were professional and easy to work with. Ill definitely be back.
