When I first returned from active duty in the early 70s, Gertrude Hawk Chocolate was a returning home gift. It has been a favorite of mine ever since. I give it as gifts (year round). When I first started dating my wife, I gave her a G.H. Easter bunny over 3 feet tall. My own personal favorite is their milk chocolate covered raspberry jellies, but they have so many different types, styles, assortments, of candy that I can safely say no matter what your previous personal preference in brand names or imports, if you taste these chocolates, just once, YOU WILL HAVE A NEW FAVORITE.

Everybody loves Gertrude hot chocolates but I think the staff can use some customer service training, lets just be honest it seemed like they didnt want to be there and we didnt feel very welcome and this is not the first time that thats happened.. unfortunately it happens every time we almost get the feeling of the workers there are better than us..

Store is always clean and employees are super friendly! They know whats available and where youll find it. If theres a sale like a BOGO they make sure you take advantage of it. Definitely recommend shopping there.

Great chocolate, great deals in the clearance area

One of our favorite stores to visit when were in town. The staff is always friendly and helpful, but the product is worth Every. Excellent. Bite. Love too that it is a regional product. We buy with no regrets.

With the factory next door and factory 2nds or overstock you save big time. I came home with 2 1/2 bags of candy for easter for the kids and spent $70. The prices are fantastic. Never go to a.mall outlet if you want gertrude hawk this factory outlet is the best.

The chocolate shipped to me was damaged plus they were missing items from our order. The missing items were free, in lieu of us buying additional items, so they did not refund us the entire amount. When we emailed them to ask about the unexpected refund, the response was unprofessional and dismissive. This was extremely disappointing as we spent nearly $400 and expected more from them. Especially considering we have ordered chocolate from them for 23 years.

Went to buy some seconds sugar free chocolate.. Nothing. Only had 3 sugar free items . smigens.. 13$ for a little box!!! I only bought 1. Where are they going ? The candy is very good but very pricy! But its always been pricy

Absolutely wonderful chocolate but the pick-up process for their tent sale, which was purchased online over a week ago, was a disaster with incredibly long lines and wait time.

Im just mittens over the caramel smidgens. Did someone mention diabetes?Dont worry they have you covered. Theres also sugar free chocolates.

New pumpkin cheesecake smidgen delicious. I want to thank Gertrude Hawks for making them. I have a critical allergy to chocolate and to find candy in white chocolate is difficult. I am enjoying the smidgen. Thank you.

The people are helpful but the chocolate is to die for. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the prices. You better not have a budget shopping in this candy store.

Clean store with an excellent selection. You can get their usual candy, or you can get their discounted, outlet candy.

I love their chocolate. Favs are peanut butter cups and those mint cookie bars. Yum!!

Great local chocolate company. They also have a program you can sign up for to get discounts and free goodies after a certain amount of purchases.

My aunt has a peanut allergy, she almost ate there dark chocolate, by chance in the very fine print it mentions it made around peanuts, their dark chocolate doesnt mention the percentage of cacao Cairo and thats the only reason she was reading the label
