For a hobbyist and maker, this place has most of the tools I need and does not break the bank. The tools get the job done. The store is always clean. The staff are always helpful and courteous.

My go-to for a quick part or cheap tool for a project. Tool quality is pretty decent, though you pay for what you get. If you are a weekend warrior, youll enjoy the pricing and quality as long as you are aware of the limits of the tool. Staff at this location are a joy to talk with and to ask questions to.

Best Harbor freight ever.

Man I love this store. Even when they are busy the staff is awesome. Willing to help. Some times I run into rude customers. Rude to the employees. Don’t know what that is about. Because it’s the same at their other locations too. The staff always is looking for a way to save you money. Making sure you have the latest and greatest coupons and what not. Returns are easy as well. Oh yeah! The lifetime warranty on certain tools is a no hassle lifetime warranty.

Inventory and service good here. Prices have gone up for the same items Ive purchased within a year. Lots of cheap tools and their new brands of better quality tools available (at least the packaging and look of the tool). Always remember to bring a coupon with you to get the best deals.

A lot of people like to knock harbor freight tools. But for what you are paying for they are great. They always have deals and sales for their tools so look out for coupons they send on a daily basis. Also there is a website hfdabase or something similar. That track HF pricing. Check them out as well.

Called the Dunwoody GA store for the 4th time today with regards to a Pittsburgh jack stand recall. I was told on the 3 occasions I called before to call back in 2 days, and each time I called they were out of stock. I simply requested if they can notify me as to when I can get my jack stands swapped out with a call or an email. The staff member has been consistently rude every time I call and ask for assistance. I asked for the manager (Arlene), and she was equally rude. She was annoyed and said that its not policy to notify me of anything. After telling me she had other customers in front of her and trying to get me off the phone, she finally suggested coming in to get a gift card for the amount to use later. This still doesnt help me know when they will be in the store, but it was the first solution she presented.I totally understand that you might be busy and you do not want to take on any kind of additional customer care on. I work on cars, your store brand product is recalled, and it is causing me the customer inconvenience and loss of revenue. How hard is it to explain to me my option, be nice, and try to give me some sort of estimate as to when I may be able to swap out the recalled product?? Sorry, hate to do this, but yall seriously need to check on your attitudes when serving customers.

Lots of items low or out of stock. Was told it was COVID-related supply issues. Seems strange for the types of items they sell, especially since we are 6 months into the COVID crisis. Other types of businesses have handled supply chain issues much better by this time.

Great experience with Alfred and Miri. Alfred gave me some great recommendations on painting equipment and supplies. Helped me shop for just what I needed and even provided a number of tips on equipment maintenance. They went above and beyond.

2 stars just for that particular situation. Normally guys up there are helpful. I called the store to find out about the dimensions of the box containing miter stand by Hercules. A female employee just flat out refused to measure the box for me. I explained that the dimensions on the website seem to be inflated and wrong. Based on them I would have had to hire a truck. I also explained to her that I live around 25 miles away, so the trip to the store just to see: if it fits seems a bit unnecessary. Nevertheless thats what she suggested to me along with the bug off attitude: dimensions on the website equal dimensions of the box and therefore I wont do it. I had to call another store and the employee up there had not issues with measuring the box for me. Btw the size on the website was wrong.

I love Harbor Freight - the staff is always super! Ive never had a bad experience at this HF store. Everyone is friendly and willing to make sure the customer comes first. I live between 2 HF locations, but I choose the Dunwoody store because of the great staff.

Went in to purchase a winch. Had a 20% off coupon that had no restrictions on the item I was purchasing. It did not work at cash register so I requested a manager. She barely gave me a second to discuss and gave a horrible attitude. I tried to tell her that it worked online but she just ignored and walked away. Ended up purchasing online with that exact coupon ( it was online or in store) . Wont be back to this location.
