My husband and I wanted to try out some local coffee spots while passing through Durham, and Liturgy didnt disappoint. The barista recommended the harvest squash specialty drink and it was delicious! It was the perfect flavor medley of squash, fall spices, and sweetness. My husband also enjoyed his latte!

THEY DO NOT ASK FOR TIPS!!! The coffee is excellent, they have this wonderful pullapart pastry halfway between a bread pudding and a cinnamon roll that I absolutely can’t get enough of - but most importantly, they charge a reasonable price and DO NOT ASK FOR TIPS. This is an absurdly unexpected breath of fresh air in an industry where your default options for tipping on a signature pad are usually 22% - 25% - 28% these days. But yes also the coffee is delicious and they have these beautiful large sleek ice cubes they put in the iced drinks. I love this place!

I keep coming back, cuz dang, they know how to make a delicious cup of coffee. In love with the seasonal special - coconut crush. Service is always great. I sat on a very comfy couch and had a delightful morning at Liturgy. I strongly recommend checking this spot out! Durham Food Hall is also just a good call.

Best coffee shop in Durham imho. They have an excellent selection of coffees from different roasters, and will do any of them as pour over or espresso. Love the variety, the people are kind and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere of the food hall is great.

Really lovely place. Great space inside Durham Food Hall. Had an espresso Old Fashioned with an Ethiopian Yirgacheffe by Sweet bloom roasters. Absolutely amazing. Wish we could have sat inside for a while. Fortunately the building is at the edge of central park, which is a great place to sip a nice coffee.

Hear me out. I love specialty coffee, and Ive been to every coffee shop in the Triangle. Liturgy is top tier, easy. They make phenomenal espresso and sell beans that you cant get from anywhere else in the Triangle (Onyx, Sweet Bloom, Hex, etc.), all at super reasonable prices. Check out the Durham Farmers market and pop in here after for a phenomenal drink after!

This place is GREAT! their espresso? SO smooth and delicious! their baked goods? INSANELY good - you can tell they care about the quality of their products and I love that they are showcasing multipleroasters along with B&W! Already one of my favorite coffee shops in the triangle!❤️

The iced mocha was pretty standard. I’d like to come back and try the expresso and the food.

Super fast (they apologized for it taking ~5 mins - I’d happily wait longer for bevs of this quality), super friendly, super delicious. They were out of the chai necessary for a chai latte, recommended trying it with earl grey (a la a London Fog) instead. SO good. Iced latte was solid as well. A really welcome addition to the neighborhood.
