Well, I see why theyre closing. Its like shopping at Roses. Even their flyer, so unappealing. Whatever is coming next cant be any worse. Anyway, theyre closing in a few weeks, says theyre doing markdowns daily, signs all over, even the 80% ones, like the deals are at there best and I get to the checkout and end up spending $16 for a pez dispenser marked $2.99 that went down to $2.49 and a childrens book set marked $25 down to $12.50, so 50% off. No need to go back. On to the next.

Seems like they’re closing this store which I hadn’t realized until I saw the closing signs on the window. I was able to get some great deals in clothing and sheets for my aunt, as well as two pairs of shoes for myself. Sorry to hear that they are closing.

Unfortunately, Hamricks is going out of business in Durham. They are selling items 80 percent off. I purchased 2 beautiful fishnet tops for skirts and slacks as accessories for only $4 each. Excellent 👍 sales before they close the doors.

I didnt have time to look at all I would have liked to, but I enjoyed what I saw. Its like the 5 and 10 stores of yore, where one can find many items to fill basic needs, a lot of items from As Seen on TV and inexpensive apparel.

Durham store closing. Nothing I wanted

Was glad to get out alive. In my few minutes there, thieves ran out of store with merchandise, causing alarms, employees and customers screaming. No law enforcement was on site and none was called. Hamricks employee said that this happens frequently. Very scary. I dont intend to return.

The styles there are more catered to the older or classic woman. I did see a few cute kids dresses for my daughter but not a huge selection. I found some sheets that are wonderful. But as far a clothing selection, its not for the very stylish.

Was curious because of the heavy advertising but it seemed geared towards 70 year old women...no one was in the store which made it depressing...some deals but those were swallowed up by many items being over priced... the bathrooms were well kept but that might be because no one was there...and how much damage can 70 year old women do?

Never have been in a Hamricks before. I was shocked at the amount of things they had and at great prices. The only thing I had an issue with is that the womens clothing was more geared towards the mature women and not really a misses category. With that said, I did NOT walk out empty handed! Definitely worth the visit

The two childrens face masks that I purchased were too small for my 9 year old grandson. They may fit children ages 6 and under. But they were only a dollar so I guess you get what you pay for! And the generic air fryer was overpriced at around 50 dollars!

First time visit to this clothing store where I purchased new darkening panels, curtain rod, Lee jeans, 3 mens sweaters, and flannel bed sheets. I found all items needed which exceeded my expectations both by price and quality. Highly recommend.

I used to love this store. Last Saturday, Nov 2, I went to shop for clothes and few other items at your store in Durham, NC. You were having a sale, so there were no carts to use. I decided to place my purchases in my reusable bag. I was heading to the check out when I was accosted by your loss prevention employee, made to go the back and sign a form, then marched up to the counter in front of a large line of people to purchase my items. People were upset that we were passing and made comments. This was completely embarrassing and unnecessary. I will never shop here again and I have told everyone I know. I tried to contact you on your website and phone and never got a response.

I shop there at least 2 or 3 times a week. I love the prices and you cant beat the value. The cashier staff changes a lot but most have been good. You can find just about anything you need.

I went to get Greg Norman pocket t-shirt for 5. Could not find any except screen ugly t-shirt. I asked a employee not in that area and she was kind and got a assistant manager to help. She was very rude to the lady helping me and found one Greg Norman pocket t-shirt mixed in with screen t-shirt. She hatefully said you have to look! Embarrassed her and was not a good feeling on the way she spoke.. sale was special,for 5.00. the rack should have been singled out Greg Norman 5.00. not in with any screen t-shirt. I just very dissatisfied with assistant manager.i may never go back. I drove there just for the t-shirt Greg Norman 5.00 with pockets.bad experience and bad customer service.

Bought super comfortable short boots for $10! Bought 6 clothing items for a multi-layered outfit for less than $90! Wish they carried cotton and linen dresses and skirts and blouses.

I love the layout of the store they have lots of very nice merchandise but for some reason I cant find anything that I like enough to purchase aside from the fact it feels like a cold sore because this used to be a store that I enjoy going to every single every other day toys r us that was my place to relax and enjoy and when I went in to hamricks the store have so many updated repairs that were very much needed the layout is beautiful the clothing looks good A huge variety of items but they do not have a toy section I just cant get into the store its just not for me

The advertisements that are listed are right on display and convenience for your shopping. The only complaint is you have fish around for a floor person for assistance, sometimes there were items where no prices was displayed. The cashiers are sorta fast and very hospitable. The prices at Hamricks are very reasonable and their refund policy is super. There was this one very special cashier, name tag SAMUEL went all out for a customer during a very busy time in the store. She could not find an item, he left his station, got the item and started directly back to work and he was very swift about the situation. I have recommended the store to many. I am a satisfied customer.

We walked in at 8:40 pm and was immediatly bombarded with associates telling us they were closing in 20 minutes. then told again by a man walking through the shoe dept where we were. we told him we were well aware that the store was closing because we heard the announcement over the loud speaker and the several woman at the service desk that were telling everyone.....not happy with this experience at all ......smh

Its crowded. The aisles are so close together that you cant pass. The employees out on the floor are having wildly inappropriate conversations.... but everything is so cheap! You get what you pay for, and at Hamricks you dont pay much...
