Cannot recommend Triangle Ace highly enough!TL;DR — 1) Super Helpful & Available Employees, 2) Incredibly Easy Online Order Pickup (in-store and curbside), 3) Quick & Fast Shopping Experience, 4) Good Rewards ProgramThe employees are incredibly helpful — and almost always immediately available. Almost as soon as I walk in the door, someone asks if I need help with anything. We love the option to pick up orders (both inside and curbside). Orders are usually filled quite quickly (faster than the online estimate). I enjoy the ability to order things both available in store and available only online (with the ship to store option) in one order and quickly pick up part of the order same day while the rest comes in later. (As opposed to a couple of orders at a big box home improvement store that were delayed 6 days because 1 or 2 of ~20 items weren’t in store when the website said it was and it was difficult to talk to a human being on the phone.) When I’ve needed help buying replacement hardware for patio furniture, I’ve brought in just a couple of bolts, and Brett helped find all the replacement pieces I needed (some right away and some ordered for pick up later). Employees frequently bring heavy orders (soil, lawn mower, etc) straight out to my car right away. Prices may sometimes be slightly higher sometimes, but I like the rewards program, coupons, and sales (like when Mrs. Meyers products are on sale!!). Plus, the ease of shopping at Ace is worth it. Sometimes, I do occasionally order things from online retailers or big box stores because I want a particular brand for an item that Ace doesn’t carry, but I always try to shop at Ace first. And if I have to get an item somewhere else, it’s just that one item — and I get everything else I can from Ace.

The employees at Lowes and Home Depot are usually friendly and do their best to be helpful. Thats also very true at Ace, but the folks at Ace are more knowledgeable and experienced. They know their stuff. When I ask a question at Ace, Im far more confident that Ill be getting a helpful and correct answer. If the person cant give me a helpful and correct answer then theyll find someone who can. Carter has been especially helpful. A while back, I made several frustrating trips to Lowes trying to buy paint that matched the existing paint in a room. I gave up on Lowes and went to Ace instead. Carter matched the color perfectly on the first try. Earlier this year, Carter helped me get a replacement for a trimmer that was under warranty. There were a few steps involved on his end, and I appreciated the extra time that he took to help me out. Carter is great at his job, but its also nice to know that I can walk into Ace, ask anyone a question, and get the help that I want.

Its not fair, this is too easy. I love this place! As a certified gadget nut, I am always in there, the staff is wonderful and prices are quite competitive.

Outstanding local hardware store with really broad selection from paint to plumbing to keys to gardening. Some prices may be a touch higher than you could find online — worth it because of (a) knowledgeable staff who are happy to help and (b) 60-day return policy even for opened goods. Good Ace hardware store. Good experience, friendly helpful staff. The line at the register was starting to build and the manager on duty stepped right up to open a register and balance the load. That attention to customer service pervades the store. Prices are reasonable too. Big box prices with friendly, neighborhood hardware store service. Lots of parking. Easy to find. Its a great combination.

I purchased a 4 burner Weber grill 9 months ago. Last night using the grill the LP tank regulator began frosting over and gas stopped flowing. I called the store and in 10 minutes we determined the cause was a failed LP tank. I am so grateful, I did not blow up the deck and the chicken came out beautifully. I can think of no where else with such great customer service before and after the purchase. Doubt if I called Home Depot, Lowes or Amazon I would have found any help. Cant say enough good things about the staff at this Ace Hardware location. Yesterday I brought in bags of papers for shredding (they are a drop off point for Shred Ace) and left with ... a new grill! The person who helped me (JLV on the receipt) from shredding to measuring the back of my car to ensure the grill would fit could not have been more helpful from the minute I walked in the store. Definitely a positive retail experience and their pricing was competitive.

Great staff. These guys go out of their way to do whatever they can to help you find what you need. If they dont have what you need (which is rare) they will help you Macgyver a clever way to get it done. No Lowes or Home Depot for me while Im in the area. Ace is where its at.

Excellent customer service! Went in to get Benjamin Moore paint and primer. Eddie was extremely helpful and knew the paint products well. He was very efficient and gave us some good suggestions. The prices were fantastic and the the product we wanted was in stock. We were in and out without wasting time. Triangle Ace has a customer for life.

I always stop here for a few Christmas gifts and for any home projects that I need quality paint or tools for. Staff are always extremely helpful and they have so much packed into that store! A much needed break from the big box stores.

My favorite hardware store in the area. I go out of my way to go here over bigger stores due to it’s customer service. Perfect neighborhood feel, but has basically everything you need.

Great hardware store. They have pretty much everything you can think of and the customer service is so much better than you get at a Lowes or home depot. Like, they actually take the time to ask if you need help instead of randomly moving things around or talking to each other to seem busy and unapproachable. You really get the sense that theyre part of the community. And if you need something done that they dont do in-store (for example I needed some locks re-keyed) theyll send it out for you free of charge.

I had help finding what I needed. They had given me $5.00 Birthday coupon. I bought a walnut stain for $8.99 it was a $2.00 instant coupon saving.. they had trouble taking the $5.00 off... in the end they only took off $3.00. I did not say anything as I felt uneasy in the store - and did not want any confusion. I did not feel comfortable shopping there. I would have like ordering on line with curb side pick up.

Very helpful employees! It is not a big box store, so sometimes they dont have what you need, but I have never walked out without finding something I had forgotten that I needed. Free popcorn is a nice perk. You always feel that they appreciate your business.

From the second I walked in the door to the second I left was essentially less than a minute in which the staff on site helped me find an item and got me back onto my business. Zack Fields was the first team member that greeted me, followed by others who wanted to assist me in finding aluminum foil. Thats impressive. The maintenance crew at my apartment complex arent even that quick, efficient or reliable-- hence why Im seeking to fix whats wrong with my apartment instead of them🙄 This is the very definition of teamwork right here in this store. Always helpful and a perfect in-and-out joint. Prices can be a little high compared to big box, but if you live in Woodcroft there is nowhere better for a missing tool or hardware. Whats often overlooked is that this is best place for gardening and grilling needs in the area.

I walked in there unknowingly right before they were closing. I got treated so well. I didn’t need any help, but the attentiveness and care everyone spent while was there was Grade A! This is how customer service should be represented! People who care!!! Minutes after I went to Food Lion. EVERY employee I saw had there cellphone pulled out and two were not doing anything. I was like dang, do people work here? Anyways. Great service ACE Hardware. You are doing great.

Neighborhood hardware store that had a great amount of barbecue gear and types of charcoal. A great place for smoking gear as well. They also have a large selection of canning gear if thats what youre looking for. Also the regular types of products that you would expected at a small hardware store and they have baby chicks. Also a good paint selection as well. Free parking.

Ive had good luck previously ordering on line and picking up here. Today, however, I had a question re: an item on line and so called the store. I was passed along and the third person I spoke with was very curt and borderline rude with me, not listening to my question and insisting that The warehouse in Georgia is a lot bigger than our store and we cant stock everything they have there. I was attempting to order from the warehouse to have delivery to this store, but staff wouldnt let me express this. I will try elsewhere, tho I was trying to buy from a local business rather than a chain.

The gentlemen here were helping me diagnose the issue with my craftsman lawn mower and were able to direct me to the other store where they have the replacement part! I was able to have my mower up and running within an hour of my visit! They know their stuff there!

Much more than hardware.So you may remember a time when you could go down to the local feed and seed store and order chicks 🐥. Those days are mostly gone due to lawsuits.This location allows patrons to purchase chicks for those interested in ‘back yard chickens’ for growing layers. They are clearly competing with Lowes and Home Depot. The individualized attention each customer gets is what makes the difference. I went looking for plastic guards to put on the ends of my wood screws to prevent people from snagging their clothes, or scraping their skin. The first associate I worked with gave me information about wood screws vs. machine screws. The second associate I worked with found just the hardware I needed; bolts with domed nuts. I had to replace all my wood screws with bolts, but I have what I need, and I got an education as well.

Having only a beginners knowledge of home improvement, I was impressed with the size and selection of hardware there. Its obviously not as big as some competitors, but it much less overwhelming and easier to navigate. Not to mention that I got help from multiple employees!
