UPDATE: Within the same day of leaving the below review, the owner contacted me to apologize and remedy this situation. The next day, he sent out one of his crew to get the correct measurements. I received the final part exactly one week later. It fits and the job is finally complete! Thank you!Good luck if you actually want to get work done with this company. They have failed on every level of communication possible from not returning calls, to not receiving emails, to getting the measurements WRONG for my fireplace. If Dominion Energy had not recommended them, I would have never gone with the company. I started working with this company in February of this year. It is July and I still dont have the final part. Im done being patient and nice. The community needs to know the horror story of this company.

Don has been cleaning my fireplace with gas logs for almost 10 years. He has always done an excellent job. Hes very pleasant and easy to talk to.

The technicians who came out to repair our gas logs were super friendly, courteous, kept their masks on the whole time. When we scheduled originally, it was looking pretty bleak b/c of demand, but the staff worked to get in to assess the issue a lot sooner than we expected. We love to support local Durham business, and Ive bought countless supplies and filled tanks here before. Always great, friendly folks looking to help.

Our designer was quick to serve up the Grilling store when we shared our gas fireplace issues. Our service tech, Don, arrived in time and was meticulous in his approach to diagnosing the issue. He determined a deep cleaning was our issue. After he completed the cleaning, he tested and retested the pilot. He also patiently allowed me to video him as he showed us, step by step, how to start the pilot optimally

We worked with The Grilling Store to purchase and install new gas logs and to replace our gas grill. The logs took a long time to be shipped from the manufacturer, but that was beyond the stores control. Once they did arrive, the installation was flawless. The staff was also very helpful as we investigated grill options. Its delivery was also excellent. Store personnel is friendly and helpful and we are very pleased with our purchases.

Don from The Grilling Store was great! He came to service our gas logs, which hadnt been used since we moved into our house 2 years ago. He thoroughly inspected and cleaned the logs before walking us through the process of lighting the pilot and ongoing maintenance. After getting the gas logs in working order, he even offered to take a look at our gas grill. 5 star service, thanks!

Stephen, the Grilling Store tech, installed our repaired gas log controls and the unit is working better now, than when it was first installed. He took the time to review the remote control operation, as well. Coordinating the repair scheduling with Kim, Tim and Don was also very helpful. I have used the Grilling Store in Durham, NC for ordering or buying Big Green Egg supplies and accessories. If there was ever and issue, they worked very hard to make it right for the customer. They carry lots of grills including the Phoenix Grill, a great gas grill similar to a Wilmington or Holland but better. They also have a wide range of fireplace options for home or outdoors. Check them out! They also carry the wonderful Canadian made Napoleon gas grills which are top of the line. They have a grill that will work for you! You will not be disappointed. Give them a try!

They are very knowledgeable about the products they sell. I went to get some pellets for my smoker. While there, they gave me some tips on cooking veggies.

I went there right before close after going to lowes. The grilling store didnt have what i needed, BUT they showed me exactly what to buy right in store just off eyeballing my set up. I ordered it off amazon in the parking lot, and my items came in 1 day. They even showed me how to kill the 15 minute timer. Got everything under $20. Ive gone there for years to have my propane tanks refilled and never needed more than that, but they are experts at their craft and have A1 customer service

What a great business. We took our time and selected a new BBQ unit that we thought we would enjoy but didnt. After several months of use, and getting a little frustrated, we expressed our displeasure with the unit to Chris at the Grillin Store. Even though they were not at fault, and were not under any obligation to do so, The Grillin Store unhesitatingly took back the unit, helped us select another one more to our liking, and refunded the difference. They stood by their product and made our satisfaction their top priority. I highly recommend the Grillin Store.
