Dr. Russ Osnes & Dr. Rob Hegerman have provided outstanding eye care for me for over 30 years. Yankee Eye Clinic is excellent!

My family and I have been going to Yankee Eye Clinic for years. They are very professional and thorough. I have always received great service for eye exams and optical services. And they do a great job working with our insurance to keep costs reasonable.

Ive been seeing Dr. Hegerman for nearly 20 years and completely trust him with my vision. He was instrumental in referring me and getting me through my lasik procedures. He is a good listener and great at explaining things to me. I highly recommend him and this clinic. Appointments are always on time and the techs are very efficient and personable.

My eye doctor is fine, but the optical department for my last 4 pairs glasses has been a joke (I think Walmart could do better). The last pair they claimed to have fixed but they hurt my eyes worse! Perscription is fine per the optometrist, its the optical dept cant get it right. After 20+ years of going here - no more for me.

I have been with the clinic going on 40 years now and have always felt the team saw me as a person. They listen to my symptoms and explain the plans for my care. They have handled covid well and I feel safe and cared for here.

Dr. Grange listens well to what is going on with the eye and looks carefully at the eyes to “see” what’s going on. I appreciate his thoroughness and his caring. I recommend Dr. Grange and Yankee Eye Clinic.

It was a very good experience when I had my annual eye exam at Eagan clinic. I had a very detailed and informative discussion with my doctor. Front desk interactions were very pleasant as well

Ive had to go back a few times to find the right prescription for contacts. Theyre so accommodating and helpful.

I noticed some changes about the treatment I got there. I didnt find that it was as positive of an experience. Especially I was upset when I wasnt able to get glasses for the price Ive gotten before through my youcare insurance. We chose not to get them until we find out if we can get them at another place.

Walked in with my mask, they insisted I wear one of theirs even after I explained I have a medical condition where I needed to wear my specific one, she was not understanding and rude about the situation. Didnt even ask for my exemption, She canceled my appointment I will not be going back.

They answered all of my questions and helped me when I lost a contact in the office. During the tests Dr. Grange was very patient with me.

They dont care if they waste your time. They have a 30 day! COVID policy -- stricter than ANYWHERE. Of course, they dont bother to tell you that until youre there. I even called to reschedule because we had COVID in the house and they only pushed me out 3 weeks! Do they not know their own policies? Not to mention that at 3-weeks symptom free, the science says Im the safest patient theyll see today! Can I bill you guys for an hour of my time and mileage?!? What a joke! Take your business somewhere thats logical and sane.

Dr Bjore is amazing! She is so thorough and explains everything. The other staff leaves a lot to be desired.. I have had a couple of issues with the optical department and the front staff being rude. I will keep coming back but only because of the amazing service I receive from Dr Bjore!

Really great place and staff. I told them I was in a rush because I went to my appointment on my lunch break and they were super accommodating, quick and nice about it which made my experience an 11/10.

Eye exam doctor is excellent, but the optical frames department is a joke at best i have had issues with Nick and his level of customer service a few times it seem he is willing to take your order but unwilling to follow up on CUSTOMER CARE AND SERVICE. I will NOT be returning for frames and the such until this travesty has been addressed and will not recommend your services

The doctor was wonderful. Nurses were great too. I was not impressed with the used car sales approach to selling glasses to me. I was never told options by Nick and not until I asked did I hear them. He automatically put me down for the most expensive everything. When I asked what one thing was. He said he was required to charge that to everyone per the doctors. Then it should not be an ‘option’. I questioned Nick a few times and all he would say was it’s the best for what you need. But, maybe I can’t afford the best. So after questioning and going over it again. My bill ended up 300 cheaper then it was. I felt that he was not honest. For that reason. I will not recommend and or go back. Honesty is everything in a world full of dishonest people. Like I said, ‘used car sales’.

I had a very enjoyable time at Yankee. Dr Grange and Jeni were both very warm and friendly. They took time to get to know me as a person and we had a great conversation throughout the appointment. I have never had a more friendly experience anywhere else.

Excellent eye exam from Dr. Emily Bjore. Very professional and thorough. Really made me feel she was interested in seeing that I could see well.Everyone else in the clinic were very helpful as well as pleasant. Very pleased with the experience.

Decided to give Yankee a second try after leaving for many years. Wont go back. Seem to only be interested in selling glasses. Feels like they dont ever want to give you your written prescription. The doctor was really unperson-able. Front desk lady that does payments is always unfriendly and unpleasant to work with.

Ella really went out of her way to make sure I got the perfect frames! Dr. Osnes did a great job with my exam also. I have a very difficult prescription.

The front desk staff were very friendly. the doctor was great. I then looked at ordering glasses. None of the frames i was shown had a price on them. when i found a pair i liked, i was given a final price, but i never knew how much insurance paid on them. i have an HSA account so it didnt matter to me much, but it would be nice to compare prices.Like other reviews, i was told they would be here in two weeks. After two weeks, i called and was told they were shipping out that day. After three weeks, i was told they were not in yet, but would be shipping that day. After four weeks, i was told they sent the frames to one place and the lens to another place. They would be shipping out that day. After five weeks, i finally received the glasses. The lady that fitted them to me was very helpful and explained how the progressive lens work. My advise is that its fine to get your eye exam there, but i would order my frames and lens somewhere else.

Im visiting from out of town and forgot my contacts, when I called the Yankee eye clinic they were really swift to help me out in the same morning. I really appreciate the generosity and it made the difference for my trip.

Ive been seeing Dr. Osnes for several years. He and the people at Yankee Eye Clinic are the best. I have severe astigmatism and nearsightedness. Dr. Osnes networks with some of the best contact lens providers in the country. My vision is 20/20 and my eyes are healthy thanks to the specialty contact lenses Ive been wearing.

After going to a quick stop optical shop, I was told to get more tests done. I went to Yankee Optical because it was close by. Dr Osnes spent nearly 2 hours with me on my first visit explaining the results of my test and possible diagnosis. He then order copies of my medical records and call me one evening after hours to tell me what he thought was going on with my eyes. Ive since been back for more test, medication trials and follow-ups. I am very impressed with his attention to detail and patient care. I couldnt imagine going any where else!

I brought my prescription to the optical department (mistake). I waited 25 minutes and then the woman helping me didnt know how to process the order (she was new which I understood). Waited 10 more minutes for someone to come and help her. No one ever did so I left and she said she would get someone to process the order for me and call me later to pay by phone which she did. I asked to rush the order since they were keeping my glasses (my only pair) and they said it would be ready in about a week. I called 2 weeks later and couldnt reach anyone so I left a message. They finally returned my call at 4:00 pm and said my glasses were ready 3 days ago but their new automated system should have sent me a text. Really? Wow!!! And to top it off- they are conveniently only open until 5:30 pm so Ill have to get them another day since they waited for blizzard conditions to finally notify me they were ready. Their eye Doctors and exams are great. Just buy your glasses somewhere else- there are lots of options and much cheaper too.

We have been patients at Yankee Eye Clinic for 5-10 years. We tried another eye clinic in Florida and were not impressed. Yankee Eye Clinic gives a very thorough exam. My exam began right on time. All facets of the exam were done in timely manner by a very efficient and friendly person. Dr. Grange does his exams and he also spends time answering any questions and explaining things.

Felt more like a business than anyone really concerned about my eyes. I was still consulting the doctor when she rushed me to finish and guy from optical center was in room already. Why would he be in the room with my doctor? Showed me glasses and when i asked to come back later to get glasses i had to ask for my prescription. Like why the doc will not give my prescription to me but to optical center guy. And why would you not ask patient if they are interested in looking at glasses there. He quoted me $350 where i can get it for $100 at other places. Please do care for people when you are a doctor and leas on money making.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. they worked with me to order contacts for the first time in years and helped me figure what was the best kind for my needs and budget. I will definitely be going back for my new glasses as well

Fast service! I am a mom with two kids and Im always on a tight schedule. Yankee eye clinic has fit me in on numerous occasions with fast service that fits my schedule. Im lucky to have them so close to home.

Ive been going here for about four years. My optometrist, Dr. Grange, is very personable and pleasant, and remembers who I am, which I really like. Hes upfront with how the process works, and discusses with me any changes in my prescription. The staff is also pleasant, and helps me get my contacts ordered without any issues.

Always a pleasure being seen at this clinic. Very accommodating, clean and professional.

Today was my second visit to Yankee Eye Clinic. They have a very nice, clean, modern facility. Front desk staff very welcoming and efficient. The technician who started my exam was very pleasant and attentive. Dr. Bjore was terrific...she was so professional and personable. She was extremely patient in listening to all of my questions, I never felt rushed or that my concerns weren’t valid. I will specifically request her for my next exam.Overall a great experience, I highly recommend Yankee Eye Clinic and Dr. Bjore in particular!

The doctor is fantastic, but it stops there. I provided my insurance information when I made the appointment and was assured they took it. Turns out they don’t. I guess they don’t know how to read insurance cards. Then, there is a horrible person who “sells” glasses there but don’t waste her time, because if you don’t buy the most expensive pair they offer she will walk away and belittle you. Sorry. I just can not recommend this place. It’s to bad.

I have been going to Yankee Eye Clinic for approximately 14 years. They are wonderful! I wear rigid gas permeable contact lenses and have severe dry eyes. The LipiFlow treatment was done on my eyes in 2016; this has been like a miracle cure for my eyes.I highly recommend Yankee Eye Clinic.

I have been going to Yankee for years and they have always treated me so well. Whether it is Dr. Hagerman or Grange they are always out to help you find what works best for you and your eyes.

Eye doctor appointment was great doc was nice and helpful. Been wearing glasses 30 years know what I want and what to expect. Their glasses and billing department on the other hand are garbage. I apparently need to file my own insurance submissions for glasses but they submitted for the appointment, whole thing felt shady to me and my first time coming across something like that. I ordered glasses was told 7-10 days. I called 7 days in was told next week, called the next week was told the next week, and 23 total days later (17 business days) they were finally in but only because I called otherwise might have been another 1-2 days. I recommend the doctors I think but run fast and far before ordering any glasses there.

I love the staff at Yankee Eye Clinic! The front desk people are wonderful!Dr. Hegerman is so intelligent, helpful and professional! He is prompt and so respectful of my time. He always has the right answers to my questions.My only complaint is the extremely high markup they have on their glasses when purchased there.Otherwise, I would not think of going anywhere else for my eye care!

Originally Yankee Eye Clinic was recommended by our health plan as a participating clinic when we started using them. Not only are we happy that our health plan made them an option, but that this clinic has been of such high quality in the care and professionalism we have experienced. Its a pleasure (seriously - as Ive shared a lot of laughs with my eye doctor throughout my exams) to be a patient there, and we highly recommend them.

The first time couple of times I went in it was great. Personable staff and the Dr was a pleasant chap. At the time I had state med help and was treated with dignity. Even the cheap glasses they offer when your on such a program were not bad, I still have them! Now for the bad. The third year I now have insurance through work and was looking forward to getting glasses of my choice.The woman I encountered at check in, older redhead, treated me like a criminal, pretty snotty and rude. I provided my insurance card and ID. As she took them to the side to xerox them I am not sure what she said but both people she was speaking to leaned out the door to look at me, no exaggeration.When she still had my cards she demanded I confirm all my info. I asked how since you have my state ID and nothing has changed in 13yrs and this isnt my first time here? She said Fine and gave me back my cards. The assistant called my name and before i could sit down she told me to put my head here and push this button and so forth. She seemed annoyed and rushed everything to the point I know she did not get an accurate reading of the test. I asked her to slow down and in her snottiest tone she saidYa know I dont need to do this anyway. At that point I told her I was leaving and would reschedule with anyone but her, she said whatever. Well I did reschedule but after getting home I decided to go to a different place altogether. Life is to short to deal with racist creeps. And its really to bad because I really did like the Dr.

Nicole and Dr. Emily were amazing. Answered all questions I had and were very friendly. It is hard to find a good optometrist and Im glad I went to Yankee Eye Clinic.

I see Dr. Bjorn, she is caring, knowledgeable and genuine. I did not do any procedures at the office, although, they suggested.

The worst experience that Ive ever had with an Eye Clinic. I have been waiting going on 4 weeks now for my glasses. When i went for my exam and to pick out my frames on January 17th I was told the specific frames that I ordered was in stock. Ive called 6 times throughout this process and was told that my lenses have been ready but my frames were on back order. I called last on Friday and was advised they came in that day but they were just doing a check on them. I will never go to this place again.

The staff at Yankee Eye Clinic are very friendly and helpful. Dr. Osnes is the most skilled Optometrist Ive ever seen. I was taking advil 2-3 times a week from chronic eye strain and after I got a new prescription I no longer take anything and my eye strain is gone. I had seen multiple other doctors who had given me the incorrect prescription that was too strong and causing more headaches and eye strain. Yankee has all the latest technology to make your visit quick and enjoyable.

From being disorganized and impatient to not returning phone calls, voicemails, nor emails, the service that I received at Yankee Eye Clinic Eagan was beyond unacceptable. I ordered glasses and was assured that the glasses would be ready for pick up within 7-10 business days. It took 42 days total for the glasses to be ready for pick up. One month ago, I was promised that I would receive a partial refund on the glasses, which I still have not received. (No surprise). For the third time, where is my refund, Yankee Eye Clinic? What a mistake I made to come here. I will not be returning. Yikes!

I recently had my first experience at Yankee Eye Clinic and it was fabulous. From the Director of First Impressions, the technicians, Dr. Hegerman, Taylor and Jon (opticians), and check out. Dr. Hegerman was very thorough in explaining my eye issues and trying to find solutions to give me the best eyesight that can be accomplished. Taylor helped me pick out frames that would be suit my facial features. Jon did a great job of helping fit the frames. Thank you, Yankee Eye Clinic for a fabulous experience.

A huge SHOUTOUT to Rachel A. at the Eagan Yankee Eye Clinic! I needed a new prescription and some changes in my glasses, which was unexpected. I am heading out of the country next week for over 40 days, and the new prescription and changes would be greatly helpful. She put a HOT RUSH on the glasses, they came in today, and I will be able to wear them throughout my time in Spain. She went above and beyond. My whole family have been going here for about 20 years, and I highly recommend Yankee Eye Clinic.

I dont understand the other reviews that I am reading. I brought my 87 years old Father to get his glasses fixed because the V.A. would not do anything with them. I stopped by with no appointment and I asked only if they could be fixed. The person at the counter call back for someone. A lady came out and looked at them and said it would take an hour. We came back and they had replaced the nose and ear plastic parts and cleaned and fixed the lenses to look like new. I ask what the bill was and was told no charge for a Veteran. We were humbled that they would do this for a WWII Vet. Thank you Yankee Eye Clinic!

You call me at 4:58 on a Friday to remind me to call and confirm a Monday morning appointment and when I show up on Monday you tell me my appointment was cancelled because I didnt confirm? Then you send me an email months later telling me Im overdue? Wow. You really have a Special Needs office staff...

He’s been my eye doctor for many many years now, and has always been professional yet friendly; and most of all proficient, caring and knowledgeable — and always explains everything in a way that’s easily understandable.

Horrible rip off, had daughter in for eye exam, before the exam was done the gal came to the exam room to get her for her eye glass fitting. Why would you do that before the exam is done and the DR said she needed glasses. Made an appt at Health Partners a week later and they said she didn’t need glasses.Yankee Eye Clinic is a rip-off, just want to sell you glasses, don’t really care if you need them or not.

I have been going to Dr Haggerman for years. His care has always been excellent. I especially like the Optimap as I dont have to have my eyes dilated if they use that. i just had my eyes checked and bought a new pair of glasses.

I have been going to Yankee Eye clinic for over 5 years. I am impressed with their attention to the health of the eye, not just the vision (i.e. perscription). The doctors and staff listen to my concerns and history and worked with me on several options to get it right. I was experimenting with contacts for mono vision to keep me out of reading glasses longer. When asking for suggestions on reading glasses for my computer at work, they recommended office glasses that allow me to still see people when they come into my office or if I walk to meetings/ printer AND I see my computer and paperwork just great. EXCELLENT option !! Thank you for great care and service.

My wife MADE me come with her and have a eye exam, it had been about 5 years. Dr. Hegerman discovered that I am a glaucoma suspect and explained why it is important for me to come in yearly. I dont usually care much for doctors but he did a great job. I will be back next year.

I just had an eye exam and bought a new pair of glasses at Yankee. Staff freindly, Dr competent and great selection of glasses. My Optomotrist was very helpful and customer focused!

Bad experience.... I would steer clear from them. They provide you incorrect benefit information and then ask you to fight it out with the insurance company. When i told them that they will loose a customer, they happily cancelled my future appoinments. i will never go back to them

I would steer clear from Yankee Eye and/or Rosemount Eye Clinic. My family has had numerous interactions with them, and every one has been problematic. First, their eye technicians cut corners - they skip essential tests and omit important data. Second, after an eye exam, its not unusual to stand in the optical department as though you are invisible - no one endeavors to help you. Third, once you do find a pair of frames you want to order, good luck getting them. The opticians are so disorganized - they either lose your frames altogether (happened twice) or they realize they are sitting on a tray and nothing has been done. Either way, youre in for a long wait. Last, they send items between offices and fail to notify you - you get a call from Rosemount, drive all the way to pick up your goods, only to learn they have sent them to the Yankee clinic. Last, they make promises they cant fulfill - after losing two pairs of frames, they promised to expedite the making of the lenses, saying they would have them in a day. Truth is, they never even attempted to produce, never called, and we still have no glasses two months later. Thats ok - they can keep their glasses - were done.

I had a horrible experience at Yankee Eye Clinic today in the framing department and have had others in the past as well. I do not recommend going there. They do not care about customer satisfaction. Theyre more concerned with their commission.

I have been going to Dr. Robert Hegerman since I moved to Minnesota in 1994 (minus a few years I lived out of state). I visited annually for my comprehensive eye exam, and as needed for any special requests / eye concerns. I have always seen Dr. Hegerman during my visits.I would recommend Dr. Hegerman to anyone seeking a professional and thorough eye doctor. Since my first visit for dry / itchy eyes in 1994, I continued to return to see Dr. Hegerman for my annual eye exams. I moved out of state from 2000 to 2004, but when I returned, I again visited Dr. Hegerman even though his office was nearly 30 minutes from my home and even further from my work location. I would recommend Dr. Hegerman without hesitation.In 2012, I was provided a prescription for eye glasses (distance). Although I was not pleased with the retail side of the office, Dr. Hegerman intervened and the situation was corrected to my complete satisfaction. My review is based on my eye exams / needs, and I would not necessarily use the retail outlet located within Yankee Eye Clinic / Vision Source. In my opinion, they are a bit sales focused, with the intent of selling you more than you want. In my case, all I wanted was the glasses and frames covered by my insurance, not a designer name. If I have to indicate that desire more than once, its one too many times. However, the choice where to get prescription glasses is entirely up to the patient, so seeing Dr. Hegerman does not require you also purchase your glasses from the same office.On recent visits since about 2013, the office staff has greatly improved and I would also rate them highly now (based on recent visits in 2013 and 2014).
