I have worked with Rick and Horizon Equipment going on 4 years. Not only are they Incredibly proficient at repairing anything and/ or everything, their service times are incredible! If we have any issue at all, they are there to fix it.24/7! I also rarely if ever have to wait on ordered replacement parts as they have just about everything in their inventory.
Rick and his team are top notch-- always responsive and on their game. We work directly with Horizon technicians and they know what is going on in the field-- it is refreshing.

I started, and owned Connors Bakery And Delicatessen in 1994, and ran it until I sold it in 2005. It was a bakery/restaurant /delicatessen. I bought all of my bakery equipment from Horizon, and met Tom Hartmon when he was installing my Middleby Marshall oven. Over the years I got to know and trust Toms technical expertise. In the beginning, when my Oliver 777 bread slicer needed the blades changed, and I had no money, Tom sold me the blades and the tool needed to change them, and then walked me through how to change them over the phone.When I sold Connors, I took my Hobart 30 quart mixer and some equipment with me, and put a small bakery in my basement just to putz around in. A few weeks ago, my 30 quart mixer lost second speed, and I needed help. I called Tom and he remembered me, and arranged to have their service tech (Brian) come out and rebuild the transmission of my mixer. Brian was excellent, as was Ron who worked with me on finding the right parts. When it was all done, RIck Johnson gave an adjusted price on the service just because of all of the business we had done together in the past. WHERE WILL YOU EVER FIND THAT KIND OF LOYALTY IN TODAYS WORLD?Horizons technical knowledge, willingness to find the right answers, and fairness are simply the best. Period.

My Bakery in Minneapolis purchased a new mixer which required an electrician to install it. We didnt realize this until it was delivered and we needed an electrician last minute. I called Horizon Equipment and while they dont do electrical work, Rick Johnson gave me the Owners name and number from Holton Electric, who shifted their schedule around to help us out. As the former President of Belshaw Adamatic Bakery Group we worked with Horizon Equipment they were consistently our top distributor when it came to sales and service. With sales their people were always looking for customers that could use our equipment, both for retail and commissary bakeries. Further, they were fully authorized to service our equipment and did so without any complaints or failures in their repairs.Horizon Equipment is more than competent and trustworthy to sell and/or service any of your bakery or foodservice equipment. It would be impossible for any equipment company to stay in business for as long as Horizon has if they were not doing their job correctly and providing excellent results to the customers they serve.
