Zach was right time. Has been here several times so remembered where things were. Very professional, dressed neatly in uniform shirt. Very polite with my 84 yr old mother. Did everything needed. Was done in a jiffy, no fooling around or on his phone. Just did his job, made us happy, and we’ll see him again in 6 months. Or someone else.

Called on Saturday morning and the were very quick to call me back. Technician was out to check it within a couple hours. Didn’t have the part he needed but was quick to find it on Monday morning and had us repaired that afternoon. Very good service and extremely nice people to deal with. Will definitely use them again if needed.

I called McGee heating and air to request someone come out for a quote to replace my existing heat pump. They offered to come out the same day and did. Doug was very friendly very courteous very helpful and provided me with a quote for two different systems. This encounter could not have been more pleasant. I really like them, theyve always serviced our system and its very likely I will give them this job.

From our initial visit with Doug to give us an estimate to the install of the unit everything went smoothly. My AC blower motor burnt out. With the temperture I knew it would take a while to get a technician. Waited 5 day, the tech confirmed bad blower motor. My unit is under warranty and McGee in Easley had a blower motor but would not let me have it under the warranty. Said they would have to order one whi h could take up to 10 days. Needless to say I was between a rock and a hard place. Short cost me over $700.00 for some thing that should have only cost less that $90.00. I will think twice before I use McGee again.

Had my upstairs 3 ton unit replaced.Miles and Corey showed up this morning (on time). They were polite, and professional. It was raining and we were concerned about bringing mud into the house. They said they would take extra precaution to keep our home clean. They put down plastic to protect carpet and wore booties over there shoes anytime they came into the house. My nature is to ask a lot of questions. They answered all my questions and showed me how the system worked in detail including safety shut offs associated with the new system. My wife and I were both impressed and were more than happy to give them a good review.Also, Blaine sold the job to us. I cant say enough good things about this company! Due to previous experiences with another company, we were not very trusting when it became time to replace our 25 year old split system. We received 6 estimates and decided on this company because the price was among the best quotes, and Jon gave us suggestions that could help with air flow for no additional charge. These were things the other 5 companies did not offer. Jon came to check out the system, and was very thorough on his inspection. It was obvious that he was very knowledgeable, explained all the options, and answered a lot of questions. Once we decided on the company, he came back to the house to complete paperwork. We had a new fridge that came in when he was here, but the delivery guys from Lowes couldnt install the fridge because the water cut-off was under the house. Without hesitation, Jon went to his car, put on his coveralls, and climbed under the house to cut off the water for me since my husband was at work. He truly went above and beyond!Corey, Miles, and Ben came to do the installation. They showed up on time and were so friendly and polite! Ive never seen 3 guys work together as a team so well, and they worked hard, only stopping 15-20 minutes to eat a bite of lunch and to cool off. It was a big job, so they worked steadily from 8:45am to 6:45 pm. It started storming and our power went out for over an hour. They continued to work, using only flashlights in the attic. At that time, it was apparent that the job would take more than 1 day (installing a new system, removing a dehumidifier, upsizing supply run to 2 of the bedrooms, and all the other stuff that I cant remember), but they wanted to make certain that we would have air that night. Ben came back the next morning as promised and finished the remainder of the job. He then walked us through all that was done and explained everything to us in a way that we could understand. Oh, and they were all careful to clean up any mess from the job.The job was just completed today, but the house already feels so much cooler. Ben told us that Jon would be calling to set up a post appointment to make certain everything is working well. This is also very appreciated. I love the follow up! Everything about this company says that they really care about their customers! Thanks to all of these guys. They are true assets for McGee Heating and Air!

Installation of HVAC system and all new duct system this summer, which was a 4-5 day job. Blane did a thorough walk through and prepared a professional proposal for us in a timely manner. He reviewed several units and options with us to fit our budget. Miles, Kory, and Steven were our installation team. This installation was in one of the hottest weeks in August, but they worked steadily. We appreciate their respectful and professional work ethic. They arrived as promised each day and communicated with us about the progress they were making, as well as any recommendations that they had. They cleaned up the site daily and at the end of the project. They had to schedule an extra day to come back to complete some final connections to the new duct work, but they made sure we were comfortable in the interim. Blane followed up a few days after the project completion. We are very satisfied with the system we purchased and the installation. We would recommend McGee Heating & Air, Easley.

The Technicians from McGee (Jerry, Dave & Shannon) were very courteous and knowledgeable. Our cooling problem ran over and into a weekend, but Shannon was at the house early Saturday to troubleshoot the issue. All nice people that provided me with a measure of confidence in their abilities to promptly correct our cooling problem.

We’ve been using McGee HVAC Since shortly after moving to the Upstate 10 years ago. They are conservative and will try repair first. They don’t push for a new unit/system unless the time has definitely come and you NEED. The annual service is reasonably priced, dependable and prompt. They are clean inside and outside your home. We are on our third home with McGee and they know every kind of unit. Darren V. was here today for our Spring service. He’s knowledgeable, thorough, polite, called before he came, and was on time. We are extremely satisfied with McGee HVAC.

He was professional and offered advise on how to do things that would save us money.
