Part was supposed to take 4-5 days to arrive and I was fine with that. I was not ok that no one thought about letting me know the ETA when I had waited those 4-5 days and received no update. I had to call to get an update and was told it was on backorder by another service rep. Communication would have been nice in this situation. I bought another car during this time. I probably would have purchased one from your dealership if communication had been better.

Lexie (Gamble) was very friendly & never made me feel pressured on any decision. Communication was excellent & friendly. Would definitely look to your dealership again in the future.

The actual work completed on my truck was great. The service outside of that was poor. I dropped off my vehicle at 1pm. Nobody contacted me to let me know my truck was finished. By the time I realized I had not been contacted it was after 4pm. Service department was closed. I called and was told service dept was closed and I would have to wait until Monday. I drove down to the dealer to try and get my truck. I was met with their closed and a not-my-job attitude. Fortunately an older white man came over and did his best to help me. He found my keys, took my payment and helped me find my truck. This is not to reflect poorly on him. The rest however made it a horrible experience. I have brought my 2018 truck there since I purchased it. I will no longer do so. My wife will also soon be in market for a new car. That will not come from your dealership. I hope you work harder on training your staff to know that there is no situation where good service is not your job.

We bought a 2021 Tahoe that has a definite vibration in it. When the salesman and manager too it for a drive they blamed it on bad roads. The SUV definitely has a vibration! Service was not open. We flew there to pick up Tahoe. They assured us a service department in Nashville could work on it and repair it under warranty. We will be taking it to a dealership in Nashville. My rating of the dealership will be the ability of a Nashville dealership to repair this problem.

Amazing staff!!! Buddy, Terry, and Melody went above and beyond to ensure that my radio issue was fixed and at a price that was 100x better than everywhere else I had previously went. Incredible experience. The salesperson, Lexie Gamble was very knowledgeable and genuine throughout the entire process, and has been available after the sale to answer any questions I may have.I was also very impressed with the sales manager, Mo. He was transparent about the financing available as well as the out the door price of the vehicle with no surprises. This trend continued even through the finance process.Overall it was the best car buying experience I have had in years, far exceeding my experience purchasing a new Audi E-Tron two months prior.

Would NEVER recommend coming to this facility. The managers here are liars and crooks. They put my husband in a truck AND gave us a bill of sale after signing all of our paperwork, and called three weeks later telling us to bring the truck back because we were not approved. They had everything from day one and let us drive off the lot with this vehicle and gave us a bill of sale. Unsure if they falsified documents or what the case was. This is not the only horror story I have heard of from this place. I have spoken with at least 10 people and all of them said they would never recommend anyone to come to this business to purchase a vehicle. More than dissatisfied with this business. Do not waste your time.

Was in the market for a new vehicle for myself and as a first time buyer, I had a motive and new exactly what I was looking for. Kory approached me immediately with a warm welcome and by the end of the day, I drove off the lot with a brand new 2021 SUV and debt free of my previous vehicle thanks to a wonderful trade-in process! I had some credit, payment and other logistical concerns, but Kory offered me every option and didn’t cut corners. We have purchased 2 new trucks from this dealership. The vehicles are incredible and the staff is nice, but the follow through on paperwork is abysmal. In the end its fine, but we ended up having to make multiple trips to the dealership to get everything straightened out. Their communication and organization is seriously lacking.

Their great there but my initial problem is still a problem. I added two service problems to the initial appointment the morning that I brought my vehicle in which they took care of with short notice. The problem that I have is not a service or mechanical problem and they said to bring it back if it still is a problem. When I bought the truck I had a tonneau cover installed on the bed, it leaks. They tightening and said that if that didnt work bring it back and they would take it off and reinstall it. It still leaks and Ill setup another appointment. They have a great service department.

I had a 9 am appointment to have the check engine light evaluated it was almost 3 pm before I could get a straight answer from Melody in the service department regarding my vehicle. I was told that it was the purge valve that needed to be replaced. I told Melody that there was a warranty on the vehicle and she told me she could not see this on her computer and that I would have to find the information. When I spoke to her again and told her that it was a special coverage 18029. Melody knew this part and service was to be covered by the dealership as this special coverage 18029 was issued in 2018 by General Motors.I am very disappointed in the service department because of the dishonesty and blatant disrespect that I received on August 11, 2021.

I when to Hovart Chevy to purchase a truck. I was there a week before price on the truck was 43000 come back a week later its 46000. They did add wheel locks for $199, tinted the front doors Windows $499 & something else all way over priced. I went to Scenic Chevrolet got the same truck with out the 3 add ons for $38000 . I know trucks are hard to get but dont try to ripoff your customers. Just my experience buyer beware

The service advisor was very nice, however I have yet to receive any response on parts that we’re supposedly ordered. Stopped by a couple weeks ago for an update, she stated that she would check with the parts department for details. Took my number, have yet to hear anything. I will stop by again next week. Very frustrating and disappointing. I tried calling, the other service advisor answered, just said that if they hadn’t called the parts were not in. I’m assuming physically checking would have been an inconvenience

I do not recommend anyone use this dealership. They did not disclose any of the problems with a used car my daughter bought. Granted it was an older car; however, Hovart told her it was inspected prior to selling it to her and had no issues! They also said they would clean it up before she picked it up and it was filthy even after they “cleaned it up”. I can’t believe they would be so deceitful about a sale knowing it had so many mechanical issues. Honesty should have been your policy Hovart! This car has required 3500 more in repairs that should have been at least disclosed. Your service dept missed bad brakes, two wheel bearings, a bad rim, and a bad alternator! Would you want your daughter to be treated in this manner? Don’t buy from this dealership!

You dont want to go to this dealership! They actually went up on the price of the car over $5,000 above MSRP. They called it supply and demand I called it price gouging. If I could give a lower that one I would.I have bought new Fords, a new Dodge, new Chevy. new Lincoln in the passed. This is the worst dealership I have ever experienced. They lie, take advantage of older people. Do yourself a favor dont go to Mike Hovart... They want even call back when you try to call them about nothing.

Always liked Chevys and wanted a 73 corvette as my dad had multiple growing up, with covid having inflated everything Ive begun to realize buying new would be a better option. After getting an ad in the mail matching the lucky number for the grand prize of a boat called and asked if there were multiple codes that had to be matched since it said come to dealership and verify your special number woman on the phone sighed, clearly not caring to talk and only answered that 2 of the prizes for $250 in cash had been claimed, completely avoiding my question about the special number. Go up to dealership and guy has a smug attitude being a foot taller than me saying oh if you won and shows me to a prize wall and references the special number which is hidden in the address box where next to no one would look. After today with Hovart Chevy giving me hope I could take the cash of the prize put it down and leave with a dream car I could actually afford just to waste half an hour of my life with this gimmick just to get bodies in their showroow Chevy will never recieve my business

I came in for a service light on my car for the second time. The first time the car was “fixed” I paid the $120 diagnostic charge. The service light came back on immediately afterwards so I took the car back in. The diagnostic charge was waived this time, but I still had to pay $485 for parts/labor to “fix” the same issue. Driving the car today, the same service light has come on today, so $605 dollars, two visits, and one month later, I will have to bring it in yet again for the same thing.UPDATE: Hello. Thank you for suggesting we reach out. Unfortunately, we have already reached out and we were told we would receive a call back before end of day. It has since been three days, and we have not received any contact. We are hopeful we can get this car issue and communication lapse remedied.

I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. I was able to complete everything over the phone. Tim was helpful and kind. They got me a GREAT deal on my trade-in and on my new Silverado. When I arrived to the dealership all of the staff were warm and welcoming. The business manager was a pleasure to work with, and didnt put any pressure on me to purchase additional warranties, etc. They filled my tank up with gas and thanked me for my business. After I got there I was told I won nothing, but a consolation prise of 5 bucks for coming in which the mailing had no mention of a consolation prize... I had my reartailgate hatch lock replaced 2 days ago. They charged me $100.00 over the quoted labor price. I called the Service Manager from home. He said the extra $100 was for diagnostics. I said diagnostics for a tailgate latch. I also asked about the free inspection listed on the bill. They listed no problems, even though I need tires and the check engine light is on and I know of 2 other diagnostics codes are there indicating repairs. Beware of this place.

Dont fall for these sales tactics. I went to discuss a truck they had posted online. Unbeknown to me (same color) they put me in a different level truck to test drive and look at. When it came time for the #s suddenly the price is almost 10k higher. The truck they had advertised didnt even exist!! I still allowed them to make offers just to appease them and the amount they offered for my trade was about 25% of KBB. They should be ashamed of themselves and the tactics they employed. I understand everyone has to make money but BE INFORMED before you show up to avoid these cons. Better yet, avoid this place at all cost. other chevy/GMC dealerships in the area are much more honest and transparent. Id recommend Parks GMC in Greenville as an alternative. I would give this place negative stars if I could...

Id rather drive a Honda Ridgeline than take a free, brand new Silverado from these people.They either sold us a car that they knew needed a new transmission or they dont even inspect their used cars that they claim are in perfect mechanical condition. My issue was not resolved. The service manager agreed that The problem existed but offered nothing in the way of resolution. I have a shudder or washboard feeling in my Silverado 1500 at around 1500 rpm. This is a known issue in these trucks. The service manager basically said that he could do nothing. This is not an acceptable response. I expect my problem to be corrected. If not, then I will have to take further action. My next step will be to contact the GM rep for the area.

Had done most of the work over the phone with Derek and Moe including our trade in since we were in Asheville NC and did not want to drive to Easley SC and sit all day in the Dealership. When we got the deal we wanted we made plans to take delivery. When we drove up was greeted by Derek at the front and then Moe made appoint to come out and introduce himself. Worst dealership I’ve had to deal with, I bought a car 6 months ago, then now discovered that it had 2 different vin numbers and wasn’t an American car, the car came from Canada and records show that somebody had registered the car after I did. The vin numbers on the windshield don’t match up with the ones on the registration. I’ve tried to sell it back to them but they refuse to buy it back. They really don’t care about you, buying a car from them is really risky!

I didnt come here to buy a car. I came for a recall but one of the salesmen still showed me around and let me sit in one of the new camaros even after understanding I was not there to buy a new car. Wish I could have bought it!For anyone who might get deterred to do business with them because I was here for a recall: The recall was for a very old 1999-2000 Pontiac Grand Am. It was a very minor recall just for cutting a new key so that a keychain couldnt wiggle and cause the ignition switch to mess up. Kind of silly but it is good that that tiny detail is being taken care of. The hole where a keychain would go on my key is now just smaller on the new keys.The lady helping me at the service desk came back from putting a tag in my car and made the comment someone took good care of that car or something along those lines. Its good to hear a compliment because I have been giving it some TLC since I bought it from my dad and I think its paying off.

Buyer beware.After them trying to sell me a truck that wouldnt shift out of first gear, and when I brought that up on the test drive they told me that it shifted fine if you let it run a little while before you drove it that it would shift. Even said it with a straight face.Few days later they took another truck in that I was interested in. Drove over an hour to look at the truck and they wanted about $5k over the trucks retail value. I walked away. Contacted them a few days later and they agreed to clean retail value for the truck, my condition was that they condition the truck to clean retail condition. Went and picked it up before going through service because I needed it immediately. Took it back today and they refused to do more than inspect it to tell me what was wrong. After much debate with several people including the owner, they finally at least changed the oil and provided a fuel filter so I could change that myself. As I asked, did that not do basic maintenance on all trades before sending them out. The biggest point that made me bring the truck here, again over an hour away, was that they agreed to fix the cause of the check engine light. Just went round and round with the service rep and they didnt even pull the code to tell me what the problem is. Hope its not safety related! Attached is a picture of the light still illuminated after my three hour oil change, and telling me I had a light bulb out, need ball joints and the steering gearbox is leaking. They missed that the rear main seal on the engine is leaking. They missed that there is something wrong in the brakes. The brake pedal is pulsing at idle when the tick isnt moving. These ticks use hydro boost instead of vacuum to power assist the brakes. Im guessing either the booster or power steering pump is bad. I guess brakes arent a safety issue. They actually even missed one of the lights that are out. Quality workmanship and attention to detail cannot exist here if they cant even find and note all the burnt out bulbs on the exterior of the truck.I held up the sale of a new work van with Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet to give them an opportunity to make that sale, but now almost two weeks later and they havent figured out how to price the new vehicle I want to purchase.In addition, I had my own financing available, and asked that they only run my credit if they had a lender that could finance a high mileage vehicle within a specified percentage rate, and if I did submit a credit app, that it only be sent to that one lender. They said they had one and i gave them my identity information. They submitted my information to at least 5 banks resulting in 6 hard inquiries because they pulled it themselves before passing it around. After that many hard inquiries I went with one of their lenders to avoid my lender from pulling it also, but at a higher rate than I could have gotten on my own.Needless to say, last vehicle I buy or have serviced here. Ill take my money to a dealer that is much more trustworthy.

My husband bought a used Nissan Titan here over a month ago. We had driven 6 1/2 hours to purchase this truck but the dealership neglected to tell us there was damage to the front bumper and the driving light was busted out. You cant tell me that after going thru service, detail, and the salesperson looking over it that all of these people failed to notice the damage when I saw it I as soon as I looked at the truck. This is a very shoddy way of doing business. My husband has been in car sales for over twenty years and he would never have done this to a customer. They refused to do any discount for the damage and I was willing to walk away from the deal, but my husband was really excited about this truck. I told the salesperson if they would at least give us a WE OWE for the busted light, we would do the deal. It has now been over a month and we are still waiting on the light. The salesperson isnt returning calls or answering texts any longer. I sent the manager/operator an e-mail three days ago explaining the situation and I have had no response. Do not do business here as they are not to be trusted and do not keep their promises!

If I could give this dealership less than 1 star I would. They attempted to sell us a car that would turn off while driving. When we returned the vehicle to them and explained the issue with the vehicle, they said they would be sure to fix the issue before they resold it. While the car was in our position we were gifted running boards from our family so we put them on the car. we were scared that the car was going to break down or worse make us wreck so we returned the car as soon as possible. Upon returning car we didn’t have time to remove the running boards we notified the dealership, that were gifted from our family to us. When we tried to ask them if we could remove the running boards off the car that we had been gifted by our family, at first they said he would talk to the manager, Wild Bill, and that they would remove the running and give them to us. They then told us that someone had already purchased the car after only hours of it being back on that lot, after they assured us that wouldn’t sell the vehicle until the problem with the car was fixed and it was safe to drive. which come to find out there is no fix for that car and it just randomly shutting off WHILE DRIVING. So they sold an unsafe car to someone else knowing it is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. So we never received our running boards back that were ours and when we returned to the dealership the manager wouldn’t come out to speak to us or our in-laws who purchased the running boards for us. He gave us a card and said he was “too busy doing deals” to speak with us, when a few minutes earlier our in-laws were there and he was smoking outside. And he told our in-laws that he couldn’t speak to them because they were apart of the deal and when we the customers arrived (is) he wouldn’t come outside, and also told our in-laws that the previous day we walked in a “ripped up our contract” when we were nothing but nice and even looked at another truck they had to still try to do business with them. The manager Wild Bill is HORRIBLE, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE IT WILL BE A LEMON. AND DO NOT PURCHASE FROM WILD BILL HE IS HORRIBLE

This is the worst service department to deal with. We have had several experience with them and every time they were very difficult to talk with and they have a don’t care attitude about you. All they care about is getting your money. I took my 2013 Traverse up there because again my airbag light came on after it’s already been recalled before. They hooked the diagnostic machine up to it and told me the code it gave them and then told me it was going to cost over $350 to fix, I asked repeatedly was it the same as my recall before and they said it was different. When my husband and I got there to pick it up, we had to talk with Terry ( the rudest lady ever) the story had changed so many times about what was wrong with my car. All they cared about was getting their $125 from me, when I asked what I was paying for and they told me an hour of our technician time to hook up that machine, I was so upset. I asked for a copy of the diagnosis report and all they would give me is my receipt. Then Terry told me that was only good for this dealership and 60 days. How can a certified GM dealership diagnosis report only work at one place? I have the original papers from GM about the recall and it states the exact sameProblem they are trying to tell me but Hovart wants to deny it so they can get more money from you. I asked to speak to a manager and they refused me one, I called the store and left a message for the owner and no response either. And on top of it all, we bought my husband’s brand new truck from this place a few years ago. Never again will I go back to Hovart Chevrolet. Stay away from this place.7/11 I have called the dealership three times and left a message for Mr. Hovart and was promised he would call me back and still no response, how does a business operate like this, no customer service care at all. I have contacted GM.

Bought a used 2019 Camaro, clean carfax, was told no problems. Got the car got home noticed both quarter panels were damaged and over sprayed. Front quarter pannels had bondo .. and two dents. Rough texture all over the paint from the overspray . Many unaligned body lines, cigarette burn on the carpet, seats with scruff. Trash left in the car. Was told there was nothing they could do. I bought car as is. They sold me a car with dents, bondo, and over spray, lol. They claim they didn’t notice . Wouldn’t buy a used car from here that’s for sure. They don’t fix their errors they leave it on the customer even after all the money u spend. Totally screwed me over.

It was a nightmare they lost one set of keys did not show me how to us my new truck went back next day still no keys waited took it to service to make new keys told me could take 3hours got to come back and wait again. This is second truck I bought from you going to tell everybody not to buy from you

Dont use this dealership people trying to get a truck they will give you the run around if you got negative equity they said even with a good down payment they still will not give no one a break. This is why people goes to ford or dodge dealerships I wouldnt use this dealership other dealers as told me if I had good down payment they will help me but not this dealership
