Rude staff, didnt have one item we needed. And gave us the wrong item saying we would need to mod it to get it to work but walked by the exact thing we asked for on our way out. Didnt buy anything due to rudeness

Love this place! The staff are so friendly and accommodating. I have purchased supplies many times as well as rented a storage unit and I must say that I have never been disappointed. I have had a storage unit here for 2 years and have never had a problem and even when I had to make some of my payments late they were very patient and understanding until I was able to get caught up. I would definitely recommend this hobby shop and storage services to everyone .

Hands down best hobby shop Ive been too... had a great selection of nitro stuff and electric very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I ended up getting some nitro and wife bought a rustler. Love this place

First experience was great I was a newbie and got a lot of advice and help setting up an older LOSI SCT.. Several times after didnt seem to want to help just get a part and get me out the door. Only reason 4 out of 5 Overall good help and usually has what you need in stock.

My experience seemingly differs from everyone else on here, but I have never had much luck getting service at this place and today was no different. Four employees and one other customer in the whole place. The other customer was served immediately but i stood at the counter with a $319 product in hand for 3 minutes without even a glance from the two free employees behind the counter. I took the product back to the shelf and left. Purchased elsewhere after I left. Such a shame as this place is very close.

Best place to go to buy your RC needs and wants. Friendliest people ever work here. They know what they are doing as well a d can help you fix the problems you cannot.

Theyve given me a couple wrong parts for my rc cars, but they fixed it as soon as I told them.Took a few weeks to get something ordered, that they said was in stock on the Traxxas website. But good people there.

I went to find a model to build but they have all kinds of remote controlled cars planes trucks boats all kinds of remote control devices and toys very cool they have a track in the back for 4x4s remote control cars and a race track for the cars

What a horrible experience! These people are rude and typical Pickens rednecks. The gentleman behind the counter was shoveling Cheetos into his mouth. He couldnt be bothered to help me with my question about a $150 kit.

Cool place, good prices, the 3 stars all come from the variety of items you can find, store looks like small business run by family (which I love), they are knowledgeable people, but David I think he is the owner is not very customer friendly he can make you feel like you are bothering him when you ask something, theres a sweet old lady at the store, try her instead, the 2 stars took down from the score was merely for poor customer service Ive got from David in my two visits, in the other hand very cool store they have a very nice selection of RC cars specifically Traxxas, visit them its a very cool store

People of Easley should know that Hobby Connection is a wonderful business first of all if the great hobby for the kids and today they exercised patience and great customer service their website states that they close at 7 when when now due to The Cove if they actually close at 6 I another gentleman arrived well after 6 and can they closed at 7 and they provided services rendered to me and I was so ecstatic and so excited that they had the materials and stock that I needed and the fact that they were ready to go home and still serve me with a smile I was so happy and I found everything that I thought was there thank you RC connections of Easley

The guys here know rc cars. Have a good parts selection. I’ve been in several times and they had the part I needed on the shelf.

Very friendly and really on there game with knowledge of the rc things we needed and what we needed them for....and they also had almost everything you could imagine as well...i would greatly put anyone i know and dont know to stop by and visit if Rc hobbying is in your blood.

I’m giving a one star just because these people are so rude, I’ve spent at least 7k there in the last year and they can’t even remember who I am. Go to moonville first 100$ they remembered me the next time I walked in. And above all of the disrespectful attitudes in the place, like you’re an inconvenience and all they told em they would replace a part for me, a 30$ part and when I brought it back they looked at me like I was trying to steal from them. This place is ridiculous I’ve tried and tried to like it here the store is awesome but the people who run it aren’t.

There arent many modeling/RC hobby stores around to choose from. I come here from time to time to pick up things I need for my RC vehicles and to just look around. The last time I was in there this summer there was a guy behind the counter using a lot of foul language when talking to a customer. It wasnt an argument its just his way I guess. Some people just use it in their normal everyday talking. But it isnt necessary and its especially terrible when kids are around as they were that day. I dont know if hes the owner or what but it doesnt really matter. Its rude behavior and a no no in front of customers. I think Ill just stick to online sales from now on. I dont need to drive that far just to hear that kind of stuff.

RC cars, trucks, plains and helicopters. They also have trains, model cars, rocket kits. Hobby Connection not only sells this stuff, they have repair and upgrade services. Not to mention the awesome track outside in the back. I love taking my son here.

Went in to have a car repaired that had been sitting for almost 5 years. The entire staff worked together to have it repaired and running within 20 minutes. If it was something I could fix myself they were quick to get me the part and tell me what to do. Good prices. Good service. Cool place.

Best hobby store in the region. Diverse selection of hobby products, clean store, friendly staff. The track facilities are exceptional with an off road track, dirt and tarmac ovals, and an indoor carpet track for micros.

Very helpful and friendly staff! Not pushy at all and very patient. I had a question about the charger I purchased when I got home, and even though it was closing time, they took the time to fully address my question. Even though its a bit farther for me than another shop, I plan to frequent the Hobby Connection for my needs.

Definitely did not feel like they wanted to help me. Made me feel like is was an inconvenience when I called about repairs. They told me they did repairs on popular models. But hey, at least the answered the phone I guess.

This place is the best. I go here for all my needs. The service provided is perfect and the atmosphere is great. The staff is on top of everything. Its a really friendly place to go. There tracks out back are really enjoyable as well. If you ever need a good local hobby shop i recommend this one.

This is a fantastic mom and pop style hobby shop. Theyre very helpful and friendly, and have just about any model youre interested in. They have multiple tracks outside and even one inside, all with a small fee to use.

Had a lot of awesome stuff

They had most of everything out of stock. They dont offer any type of warranty or guarantees, if something isnt working right when you get home your out of luck. Old lady running register likes to get snappy when you ask for your copy receipt. Prices are equal to or greater than top dollar market price, so dont expect to get a bargain on anything. This place is a prime example of why I dont care when small family owned businesses go out of business.A summary:Poor attitude. Poor selection. Poor prices. Virtually No returns. Place is filthy.

Fantastic customer service! I had a problem with a cheap little helicopter the people worked on it and admitted it was difficult to operate. Refunded my money and suggested a better quality product without a hassle. Great place to go Ill be back!

Absolutely the best Hobby Shop for R/C in the Upstate (SC). What a selections of surface and air kits, RTRs and parts! The staff is friendly and helpful. Couldn’t ask for a better LHS experience. Feels like a family atmosphere. Love the prebuilts out on display to see and check out. Wide selection of tires and support parts. They also carry models, slot cars and trains.

We’ve been in twice so far and best experiences ever!!! First time was looking for Christmas presents for our two sons. Very helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and courteous!!! Ended up buying myself a Traxxas Slash that day along with parts for stocking stuffers. Second trip was a repair trip for our sons Stampede. Yet again another excellent experience with part inventory, staff knowledge, and service repair work. Corey is who helped us both times and he will be our go to guy anytime we make the 2 hour round trip from Ga. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Staffs like this is worth the drive and time!!!! Excellent place! Very crowded lots of business. Very friendly service had everything I went for, nitro fuel, traxxas nitro parts, glow plugs anything you would possibly need for hobby nitro RC trucks. Easy to find has RC tracks outside also sell airplanes, trucks, and drones.

My friend just left from there and was treated so rudely. Was just inquiring about the rc racing because he was looking to pick it back up as he has extra time on his hands for at least a year. The employee seemed more concerned about his lunch then answering questions. My friend went to another guy and asked him about truck parts and the guy laughed and told him ebay! No one seemed interested in helping him out. Thats not how you run a business! He would have spent hundreds in there but now will not be back!

Decent selection, but the main attraction is the coin drop for a free tee shirt. Ya see, theres this clear tube full of water. On the bottom, theres this small platform. You simply drop a coin down the tube until you land one on the platform. Then they give you a shirt. Yay.

The older workers are quite helpful.The younger ones seem lost in space.

Come in here all the time for parts, advice, and just general talking. Great guys that are willing to assist any skill level and wont try to force the highest dollar products on you. Also, in reply to a reviewer that left a stupidly low score and was obviously clueless as to what kind of store they were in; if the main attraction of this place is the tube of water on the checkout counter, this isnt the kind of place you should ever have set foot in to begin with.

They are great helping you find what you need and if they dont have it in stock they will do their best to order it for you...b

Never been to an R/C race before and we had an AWESOME time. Ny son is almost 6 and loves his remote control vehicles so this was a thrill for him

Trains, Boats and Planes, and lots and lots of RC cars and trucks. Buy your ready to run in the store, and then take it out back to race. Staff have a lot of knowledge and experience. But are not pushy, so sometimes you have to ask for help. They will normally price match internet prices.

Love this store. Great selection and great service. I prefer to support the local ma & pa places and this is one of them.
