The store has a nasty smell, the aisles are disorganized, and many items are missing prices. The cashiers here are rude

Awful quality store, many of the aisles are messy and disorganized. The staff is rude and will kick shoppers out for no reason. Many items are too expensive to be in a dollar store, and some are from several years ago, expired. I would never go to this store if I were you.

They dont have prices posted on many toys so beware when purchasing thoseI would avoid going in there and instead heat to Claires just a bit further down

Would give ZERO stars if I could. This store is absolutely filthy and disorganized, Ive nearly tripped multiple times. One cashier in particular sleeps on the job. They banned my friend for doing absolutely nothing, I was on a call with them while it happened.

Everything is NOT a dollar, despite the name. Additionally the things which are more than a dollar are not marked as such so youll get a surprise at the register.

I went to this place with my friends. It was closed before 6 and had no explanation. It completely ruined my experience with the EB Mall. The mall itself is of good quality. But this one store is a blemish on its reputation. I hope this store is replaced with a better, more efficient, and more aesthetically appealing visage.

It was kind of scary the I think owner and his worker were arguing with a lady as I was just trying to check out and get out of there. Honestly if you are going to argue do it out of the store and not in front of your customers. And I was just trying to buy an Arizona

The products carried here are a good value and would be sold for more if they were sold somewhere else. Although this store is called a dollar, some of the products carried are more than a dollar.

We got banned from the dollar store because we picked up a plunger and sung with it. He wouldn’t let us purchase our item and yelled at us to not come again.🙄 honestly just rude

Shady practice, they label the items one price, but charge another at the cashier. They also have this big sign that says Everything $1.09 unless labeled otherwise, and you find a nice item with no price tag, thinking it must be then $1.09, only to find the cashier charging you a completely different price.Also the cashier is kind of rude, doesnt care about frustrated customers, and put it all on the owner.They have a policy of No return, no refund and no exchange!!! The first dollar store ever in US with such policy I guess?Very shady and dishonest store.

Beautifully setup of all the items. Varieties of items are available in this store. I shop often and is always pleased by the customer service. The store is pretty clean and upto date. I will go again for my Christmas Shopping.

Prepare to pay more then just a dollar. Most of the merchandise cost over a few dollars.

They have good stuff but a lot of the stuff is marked for a higher price than $1.09. Kinda expensive for a dollar store. I bought some pens and gummy bears for my brother. The pens didn’t work and the candy was rock hard!

If I could give them a zero, I would. I bought $40 worth of balloons and wrapping paper for my daughters 18th birthday including a 1 and an 8, they overfilled both numbers the 8 popped in the car, before I got out of the parking lot. When I brought it back for what I thought would be an easy exchange I was met with rudeness and the owner taking no responsibility. He wanted to charge me for another. I am now disputing the charge with my credit card company.By the way, I dont think ANYTHING in this store is actually less than 1.50 ...

If I can give this store 0 stars I would but it only gives me the option to give the lowest rating of 1 star. Completely ruined my experience of coming to this mall, and I will never shop at this dollar store again. The worker/owner is incredibly rude. I was walking around the store looking to see if there was anything I could buy, and a store worker/owner came up to my boyfriend and I and very rudelytold us to leave if i wasn’t buying anything. We were looking at things to buy and she insinuated that we weren’t going to. How incredibly rude and uncalled for it was. You do not treat your customers like that. Left the store very angry and upset. It was no surprise to me to see that other customers have had bad experiences due to the workers attitude and treatment towards the customers.

I took a friends daughters to the East Brunswick Mall last night and we had an awful experience at this second-rate dollar store. As we scrolled the isles, the girls picked items up to examine them and ALWAYS put them back down the way they found them without me having to tell them to. But when the lady who worked the counter saw one of the girls slowly pretending to throw a Frisbee (emphasis on slowly, because if she was actually trying to throw it I would have stopped her), the woman was rude to the girl when she told her to put it back, followed us around the store as if we were going to steal something, and kept giving us dirty looks. Then she asked us from across the store if we needed help finding anything. I told her no because we were browsing and before I finished my sentence, she gestured to the door for us to leave. We werent causing any trouble; we were only taking our time looking at their selection, trying to figure out what, if anything in this store, was priced at a dollar. Id understand her reaction if we were loitering for half an hour or more, but we entered with the intent of buying something and were only there for 10 minutes, tops. To be perfectly frank, I also have reason to believe this interaction was racially motivated because there was a white family that arrived at the store shortly after we did and left shortly before we were made to. She didnt say a word to them, and my friends daughters noticed.
