An Asian supermarket full of everything youd ever want if you were preparing Asian cuisine. A fresh fish market, a whole fresh produce section, aisles of Asian oils and flavors and seasonings. Snacks and treats, Kam Man has it all. There is also a small area where you can buy cooked/prepared foods and desserts that are also very tasty. If you are looking for an Asian market, this is your spot.
Amazing place. Great prices, insane selection and great food. Fish is really fresh and they prepare it any way you like.
Great market with a wide variety of products most other super markets just don’t carry! The fresh produce is also excellent! Love the fresh buns too!
Nice presentation walking it but a worker followed me and my family throughout our whole walk through the store, thrown off by that. There were some vegetables in packages that needed to be thrown out (mold growing on it). Didnt find any good deals since everything was way overpriced than it should be. The farmers market on route 10 has better deals than Kam Man.
Going into the store, everything was organized and well presented. Food on one side and shopping on the other. I love their bread, boba, and traditional foods they have there. You should definitely come here for your Asian groceries and products!
I really enjoyed this place. I used to live in China for 6 months and all the Chinese teas that I bought brought back memories. They have Green Tea, Jasmine tea, Buckwheat tea, etc. Open fish market with fresh catches. The market is a bit cold so dress with a sweatshirt. The food court is great with lots of different Asian desserts and noodles. Public bathrooms are available. Lots of Asian snacks and candies. I recommend this location if you want to try out new foods. Many different cooking oils as well.
I love this place! Theyve got a big selection of fresh veggies, along with frozen asian goods. They also make tasty food in house along with fresh baked goods.
Amazing selection of fresh fish, vegetables, meat and, of course, East Asian products. The staff were very friendly and helpful and were very willing to help me find a couple of items. Also bought some cake from their on site patisserie and it was delicious.
All the staff is super friendly. You can find all sorts of expected and unexpected food. It is always a new experience every time I shop.
Great place to buy all your Asian cooking ingredients. Great Boba tea!
A top-tier asian supermarket.Great see selection of hot foods too
Love this place, so much to choose from. Staff is very helpful, so don;;t be intimidated. Plus the hot food is great.... those steamed buns are amazing!
When you live in the country like we do in Sussex County you just dont have access to these kinds of stores. So glad we found Kam Man (via a Thai cooking class at the Pandan Room in Hackettstown). They have everything youd find in a big city asian market, plus the produce looked so fresh and beautiful. We didnt buy any fresh fish, but that looked pretty incredible too. Cant wait to come back.
Produce is great quality, prepared foods are delicious. Especially loved the fried eggplant, stringbeans, and sesame chicken. The scallion bun was outstanding. Got lots of great groceries too.
Great place with a pretty extensive selection of meats, fish, veg and of course east Asian ingredients. Staff are super helpful too.
Our go-to destination for Asian supplies. The selection cant be beat, and the folks are always willing to help.
Is your one stop Vietnamese food store. They have a fantastic selection of grocery items. As well as a great selection of freshly prepared, ready-to-go, food items! I especially love their hot pork buns and spicy sesame oil seaweed salad! You can buy the buns individually, or mix and match six for $7.95! Partnered with a vinegar dumpling dipping sauce is a great lunch or dinner treat!
The fish is always fresh, the only place I get my seafood! The gentleman at the counter is always so helpful. The prices are great! They have all the teas and snacks that I love. All the veggies are fresh and a great price as well.
Perfect place to pick up Asian specific groceries. Plus they have ready to eat meals and snacks. Try the pork buns before you go shopping, you won’t regret it!
Prices are a bit high but goood to go food and drinks!
The market has a wide variety of Asian produce and goods, including fresh meats and fish, even a bakery and cooked food section. Its a popular go to place for the Asian community. Now there are even a lot of Caucasian going there. However, Ive noticed that their prices have gone up recently, probably due to the Covid restrictions in the past year and now they have to make up for the loss.
Always come here for my snacks, dumplings, tea, kimchi, and much more! Love it.
Great place to find items you can’t get anywhere else. I dreamed of black bread last night, will have to visit soon.
Well organized and fresh vegetables.
My first time there store was clean .i got there marinated rib tips cooked them at home very good. I all ready recommend to other friends of mine.
If youre for a vast assortment of Asian food, this the place. I have been to many. Some were bigger others smaller but this one stands out to be best. The reason being their seafood department doesnt have the week old fish smell. They also big assortment of canned goods and a fresh assortment of vegetables. My favorite aahh hot dog in a bun mmmmhhhh.
Best market around for Asian specialties...even fresh Thai basil
Nice and neat. Great bakery and prepacked food.
Found what I wanted quickly. Excellent help. Thank you.
Best Asian market in the area !!!Staffs are very friendly and helpful !!
You can find most of the Chinese frozen or dry food there. But don’t expect it to provide you fresh fruit or vegetables. And 2 sales there didn’t even know whether they have the stuffs you want.
Largest Asian grocery store in the area, cleaner and more spacious than others. Prices are a little high though.
It was great first time visiting thier
Awesome place to shop for fresh vegetables and other products
Great fresh fish. Produce and meats. Multiple ethnic frozen, canned and packaged items. Hot food also available.
Such a shop that costs more than the average price of the fish compairing to anywhere else is supposed to hire workers who can master their work. The guy overthere who cleaned the fish for me, took all the roe and the fats and left the fish untasty at all. He ruined a $84- fish meal. By the way the $84 was the price of almost only 8 pouns of a seapass!
Well-stocked, especially for produce. Mostly Chinese products, some Japanese, Korean, Filipino, and Thai stuff too but its not being restocked as much. Really nice fish selection, and way less crowded than most grocery stores these days. Open until 4pm as of May 2020. No hot food at this time, hopefully it comes back soon.
They had everything I needed and more. Had to pass my local Asian market to get here but was well worth it.
Going here for twenty years...before there were a fair amount of English speakers. Fresh produce, fish, fresh hot bar, all kinds of other goods, kind and friendly staff, plenty of parking, handicapped accessible and handicapped parking available. All kinds of Asian products. Learned so much over the years! Please visit!
Lots of variety. Some of their cooked dishes are great like the string beans and the king doh pork chops
Great place to pick up good essentials. Their services are outstanding and they are prompt. Its location is convenient and it is ever clean. I had the best shopping experience.
Quite possibly the best Asian market place in North New Jersey. Very good and very good selection!
Really great selection
One of the best Chinese supermarkets you will find on the East Coast. Their inventory is vast and the store is kept very clean. Unlike many Chinese supermarkets in NYC, the meat and seafood is all fresh and appetizing. In addition they have a food court/bakery with fairly authentic ready-made Chinese delicacies. Honestly, their steamed pork buns are the best I have had since my last trip to China. Even after trying one I already planned my next return.
Always best veggies around. Bao are always great too.
I love this place! Great selection of produce, seafood and more. The prices are reasonable.
Very clean staff not that friendly
Well organized asian market, very clean and respectful staff... Its the only asian market I know I can trust if youre looking for anything specific thats not there ask for the manager of the store and hell try his best to help you.
I really loved the atmosphere and the products that were shown. The service was clear and concise. I really enjoyed it and I will definitely be going more often
Great variety and extremely good prices. Makes me wish I lived around here so I could visit more often. One of the best Asian grocery stores Ive visited.
Kam Man in East Hanover, NJ is my go-to Asian grocery store where I can depend to get authentic and fresh ingrients for my Taiwanese and other Asian food and cultural cravings. Kam Man Market is my favorite place to source fresh produce and specialty dry goods/herbs, hard to find elsewhere! The helpful owners and staff also have helped me locate and procure items for special occasions, e.g. awesome cookie gift sets from Taiwan for my engagement and needed essentials for sitting the month after giving births. When you go, this is a place which deserves a unhurried visit if you have never been. It is also a place where you can conveniently grab what you need (yummy lunch box or noodle soup) on the go. Be sure to visit the bakery for their bread, pastries, cake and bubble tea selections. The mini food court offers many ready-made dishes for all, with different appreciation of authenticity: deli duck, roasted pork, Vietnamese pho and sandwiches. Kam Man affiliates in Edison, NJ, NYC Chinatown, Quincy, MA are also worthy of stops‼!
One of the biggest Chinese market in North Jersey. It is cleaner than other smaller Chinese markets, but its prices are marked higher than most other Chinese or American supermarkets.
One of the cleanest supermarket youll ever visit. I drive an extra 15 minutes from my nearest asian market because I cant stand shopping from a sloppy store, especially when it comes to my food.
Great shopping for all things Asian. Fish is crazy fresh. Cant wait for prepared foods to open again.
Amazing place for rare vegetables like kohlrabi and black radish also great fish and exotic meat I also go there for their rice paper always does not disappoint.
I love this market for all things asian including the fresh food they serve daily.
Everything you could want from aa Asian market, fresh food to prepared meals to household items.
Store didnt necessarily have what I want, but its okay.
Best place to get pork buns in the area. They also have all you need for adventurous cooking. Korean, Japanese, Chinese they have it all. Prices are the cheapest for niche items but their produce, bakery, and prepared food are all reasonable and very good.
Everything I need is in there love it
A place good for lunch which is quick and fresh. If you like cooking you can find a lot of seasonings there. Since the new style of food intake, I spent much time there since 2-3 years ago. There areSome other competitions there, some Indian grocery store although veggies there are not that refresh but cheaper.
Love this place! Everyone is so very nice and I love being able to experience foods from other cultures! ❤❤❤
Fresh produce and some of the harder to find items that I grew up with. This place has been amazing for us.
Great local Asian market, good produce, meat and fish. Friendly and helpful staff, fair prices.
Very clean and well stocked Asian market with decent price.
Love the produce and seafood.
Asian grocery with a hot food and bbq bar, a small bakery an produce can vary in quality. Fresh fish in the back and frozen hotpot meats and some kitchen supplies. Decent selection of sauces and spices
I have been wanting to go to this supermarket for a long time and finally on Sunday I went and fell in love. They have a great variety of meats and fish, as well as other goodies. If your looking for good bargains and fresh fruits and veggies this is your place.
Really great market. Reminds me of the Asian markets I used to frequent in Los Angeles - and they have TONS of great produce, which is so welcome during the Covid-19 pandemic!! A much needed alternative to Shoprite and Whole Foods.
They have everything you would need for cooking and more
Stopped in to compare to my favorite Asian market. High priced compared to others and nothing too extraordinary but nice
Always take mom to get her vegetables
Marvelous store. Ive been looking for a Chinese grocery for a long time you could find nothing in the sparta New Jersey area. This is a very very big place. Surprised me. Bakery, meat department, Fish Department, prepared foods, every conceivable Chinese item that you might ever want. Highly recommended. Very helpful and friendly people. Clean store. I have found my place! Definitely go there if youre looking for everything in Chinese.
Great fruits and vegetables; meats and fish; and a huge variety of Asian grocery items.
If you enjoy eating & cooking Asian food this is the market to shop at. They have a great fresh bakery, butcher & fish department. The fruits & veggies are fresh & not overpriced. My wife is Asian so we shop here all the time. Definitely worth trying for a reasonably priced home made dinner. They also have an area of cooked Asian food that you can take out if youre feeling lazy or your single & not into cooking.
Their hot food court was the best! Closed during COVID-19. Hope it can reopen.
Best Asian supermarket in the route 287 : 22 : 10. Prepared foods are good. Fish does not stink like many markets Ive visited. Freezers are well maintained so frozen goods are quality. Nice selection of fresh fruits and vegetables.
Well organized, clean, a nice bakery thay reminds me of Brooklyn bakeries.
Love this market. Fresh veggies and Asian ingredients. A great place.
Great selection. But not always cheaper than your usual market
The selection of Asian food is phenomenal. The food court is perfectly balanced in what it offers, and the store is kept relatively clean. It smells a bit of fish and whatnot the closer you get to the fresh fish, but the selection offered is why you come here, not the ambiance.
Love this place. The produce is top notch and the staff is friendly and helpful. They have fresh fish swimming in tanks, and loads of Asian foods you cant get in a typical grocery store. There is also a cafe we havent tried with delicious looking dishes.
This market provides a large selection of asian goods in many departments that are well maintained. There is a bakery, steamed table buffet for eat in or take out, cooked roasted and bbq meats, supermarket supplying imported and local brands of dry, canned, fresh produce, fish and meats, frozen and refrigerated foods and other kitchen and cultural items including medicinal remedies. The only negative factors is (1) some Asian goods do not have accurate nutrition labels, (2) some items lack expiration dates (3) plastic bags for baked goods are used for bakery items, and (4) foam packaging is used for some take out items.
Fantastic selection of hard-to-find items and cookware. Most of the staff are kind, but if you approach the fish or meat counter speaking English, they will often have to call to the back for someone to take the order. That is not a bad thing in and of itself, but can make it difficult to get quick and easy service. That being said, it is a welcoming enough place that not speaking one of any of the multitude of languages you can hear there is no impediment to the shopping itself, and if anything, gives the place more personality.
Good Chinese grocery store in the suburbs. Things are much more expensive than Chinatown but the convenience and selections made it work. Good produce and fish section. Nice bakery and decent hot food. The Chinese barbecue meats are good, although the server there can be standoffish sometimes.
Affordable but most of all is offer things that you normally don’t get in normal supermarket. They have food court offer cheap Chinese food for quick meal as well. Fresh fruits, veggie, live lobster, fresh fish, meat pork and poultry, frozen lobster tail to king crab legs, microwave ready to eat meal.
Great selection and super fresh fish and seafood.
One of my favorite Asian supermarkets. They have a variety of foods. Store is very organized. The bakery and food is also nice.
Great variety of rice, fruits and vegetables. A good Asian suoermarketbin the suburbs
Cross Asian cultural food source with a focus on China, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam Japan and Taiwan. Great place for sauces, noodles, tea, frozen dim sum and fresh specialties.
Always stop in for Lunch to go! You can pick 1, 2, or 3 items served over rice, with soup! Have tried several things including their pork w/bean curd, but my favorite is spicy, tender baby eggplant, and string beans! Yum! Dont mind the hanging whole ducks, and stop for a bubble pop drink, too. And, Enjoy the Smiling, friendly faces of the ladies who serve. 🙋😜💝
Trash food court. You order Pepper Lamb. They fill it with Peppers 99% and 1% of lamb for 8 dollars. Dont buy any food from the trays here. Its better to buy it in the vietnamese stall or just buy packaged food.
This is a great Chinese supermarket. It’s not far of a drive yet it’s expensive on some levels. They always have great pastries, lots of new items, and great deals throughout the week. Great store! They have almost everything, if only if they also have dim sum a la carte, would be even better! So I don’t have to travel so far to get dim sum
Kam Man food court Vietnamese section is a disgrace to restaurants across the world and an insult to the culture they supposedly represent. After finding hair mixed into the contents of the spring roll I ordered, they did not bother to apologize. I gave the hairy piece to the chef who said okay and disappeared behind the counter again. The original cashier came out and didnt even bother saying anything and walked away. You are the reason why Asian heritage has a bad name. Garbage food and staff. Plenty of other Asian markets and eateries in the area to go to.
