Target has a very good selection of products and the prices are very reasonable. In addition to that the staff I have interacted with are very nice. They do their jobs well and treat customers respectfully. I do have a slight criticism however. When I went to pay for the item I planned to buy, I intended to use the self checkouts. However it took me a minute to see where the line for the checkout was. I did eventually find it, but it took a second. In past visits employees would direct people to the lines for the self checkout and regular checkouts. I think it would be a good idea to keep that going. That being said, Targets East Hanover, New Jersey location is very good. I highly recommend it.

A very clean store. I have a young family with two young daughters, and I can find their food, clothes, toys, health/beauty items, back-to-school items, sports, bicycles, snow sleds, etc. in the store. Plus, the store matches prices from its big competitors. Also, it is clear that the store associates adhere to the Target vision and philosophy - which is: hard working, earnestness, and service oriented - customer first. Also, with COVID-19 and variants, a clean store is a MUST and Target has an associate cleaning the shopping carts (as you enter the store). I do not see that at WalMart, Home Depot and most other stores!

I have been Targets customer since 2017, and always come look for what I need.Today, around 2pm, the cashier girl who was originally at stand number 5, then changed to stand # 8 was being impatiently telling me don’t put any staff on the table because she was moving to another stand, I didn’t heard her very clearly at the first, so I asked her what she was saying, she staring at me like I am stupid and rolled her eyes, spoke loudly told me once more. I was very unhappy about it, and I left her work station, and went for self checked out like I always do. ( it’s been 2 years in Target, I barely use cashier check out, but left me that unpleasant experience! )I wanted to speak with her manager and tell them about it, but my husband was waiting for me standing outside so I left!I am very disappointed with this cashier’s attitude, I think Target should pay attention on their employee training before they enter to work!From today, I think If such things happen again, Target will not be my first option anymore!

Every time I go in here, the lines are very long. On my most recent visit, the cashier Jamilla was moving at a snail’s pace, in part because she was writing her name at the bottom of every receipt and instructing each customer to visit the link on the receipt and complete a survey. When she finally got to us, she felt the need to remind me of the price of my towels, as if I did not already know. She said “these are $20” as if I would deem them too expensive and not want them. Very inappropriate and strange.

The girl at the register was very friendly. She asked me if I found everything I was looking for. I said yes. When she gave me the receipt she asked if I could fill out this survey to help her. I said yes. I was very impressed with how nice she was. I do not go to Target that often but when I do the staff have always been friendly, helpful and answer any questions I have. Very good customer service.

Sometimes you may not have items but you do have reasonable prices

You gotta start either A paying people more or B get dedicated Shipt Delivery people on site. The exchange and returns line is just very slow and when the delivery people have frozen items to checkout it aint good to stand on line for 20 30 minutes. I dont see alot of hustling staff. Company is worth hundreds of billions of dollars. Baffles my mind how theres still alot of inefficiency.

The East Hanover Target is newly renovated and has a nice selection of products, toys, and clothes.

Large and well-stocked Target store. It seems that you can find anything here, including groceries, a small Starbucks, electronics, clothes, toys, etc. The associates here have always been very helpful and friendly. They are truly the soul of this store. There is a gigantic parking lot. I wish the sign for the store is a little more obvious from the road but that is my only complaint.

Ive been going here for years and my shopping experience is always pleased. Their carts run so smoothly and are so easy to push and the associates are always friendly.My only gripe is that it tends to get very busy on weekends with very long lines. They should hire more staff.

Erin was super helpful to me today, I was looking for an item in store because pickup wasnt available. The item was marked down on clearance so I couldnt find in the normal section. Erin walked me across the store and located the specific item for me when she noticed it wasnt in the section with markdowns. I would not have found it without her and would have left to find something similar on Amazon.

Was at their other location in Parsippany and came here hoping to find a paw patrol backpack, out of luck again. What if I was shopping for myself and needed one?

This was my worse trip to a Target that Ive ever had. The lack of items in stock and waiting 40 minutes in line to check out (one cashier and 10 people in line) would not make me ever want to go back!

This Target location was okay. I was in need of some travel size items for an upcoming trip. Once I arrived, I saw a long customer service line ( that is never a good thing). CDC guidelines were enforced and social distancing was certainly in place. lOne thing that burns a nerve is rude employees. I pride myself in being unproblematic and if I can help myself, I usually do. I asked a staff member where can I please find your travel items?She said, oh its right there. I said where? Since she was pretty much pointing to a wide range area. I mean if you cant walk me other there cool, but atleast be more specific on directing me. I couldnt have checked out any faster to get out of there!

The only reason I go here is that is a close by. They NEVER have more than one cashier open ever, period and it doesn’t matter how many people are in line. Went today the line was 30 deep the store management simply doesn’t care.Stop by this store once and you’ll understand why people shop online....who has an hour to wait in line

I love target, they have very nice collections of household items, especially my favorite is decor, very simple elegance and rightly priced. I also love to ship for my kid daily wear, the best thing is most of them are cotton. Then the most favorite part is the nick nacks center at the entrance, i have shopped numerous projects for me and my kids over time. Also used them for party favors.

The person by electronics (Melissa) offered the best customer service and thanks to her, my son will have an amazing 4th birthday!

This Target is definitely one of my favorite locations to shop. The staff is very friendly. I feel welcome as soon as I walk through the front entrance. This store offers a wide range of high quality merchandise at very competitive prices. I feel safe shopping in this store. I see employees frequently disinfecting areas of the store, as well as carts and baskets.

The place are large enough, but some of the daily life supplies are out of stock. Some staffs there are nice and responsive. But some just have no idea where their stuffs.

When I went to Target today I had a coupon for $5 off a $20 or more of pet purchases. I spent $23.98 on dog treats The sales associate took the coupon (it expires on 10/3/20) (I was there today 10/1/20) If the sales associate scanned the coupon (who knows if he did) He didnt think it was important to let me know it wasnt accepted. It makes me wonder how many more times I was cheated. I have to strongly rethink shopping at Target and IF I do I will have to very care read the recite before I leave the register

This Target is by far the worst one I have ever been to. And I frequent a few different ones since I do actually love the store. Order for pick up is incredibly convenient, and I have never had an issue with other Targets when I have ordered for pick up. However, this specific store has given me problems every time I have ordered. More than once, I have ordered, received the email that all of my things were ready, then go in to find that multiple items were not available. I understand when an item isnt in stock but every other store that I have ordered from will send me the email that my item isnt in stock and ask me if I want to cancel, ship, or change store. Not with this store. Each time this has happened the employee tells me I have to wait so she can wander around the store looking to see if the item is available, then they come back and tell me they have to cancel it because its not. Why did I get the email that all the items in my order were ready then? On top of this, whenever Ive gone in, the employees look miserable, and they are so incredibly slow - almost as if they are slow on purpose. And most of the time they are young adult aged or else I would understand the lack of speed in older employees. Avoiding this store at all costs in the future.

My order had missing items. Although Target quickly refunded me and sent me a Target Gift Card for the inconvenience, I would have rather had my items!

I love Target. More people should know about the groceries there and the good pricing and sales. I love that I get 5% off everything with my Target card. I also like the free shipping on most items. I wish they had better womans apparel but sometimes I find some very nice clothes. I used to buy toys when my child was young - great deals. There area great deals in electronics and the employees have always been extremely helpful in that department. Check out is fine. I really like Target and hope its around for along time.

I had ordered an item online for store pickup and jetted over during my lunch break to pick it up. The fulfillment of the order was performed very quickly and I was thankful this location had my item in stock, as the location nearest to me was out of stock. I like starting with the positive aspects in my reviews so I will say that the gentleman who helped me was very nice. It did take a little longer than I’d hoped for my item to be retrieved once I arrived for pickup, and although there was another open register, a line of customers formed relatively quickly as I waited. The Guest Services representative who helped me apologized and once I signed for the merchandise and presented my ID, I was on my merry way back to the office. This is only my second time visiting this Target location but if my Guest Services observations are any indication of the way the store is managed as a whole, I wouldn’t place much confidence in a positive shopping experience in the future. I wasn’t too impressed with the presentation of the ladies at Guest Services- they were not poised or professional and the general area seemed to be lacking a good operations system. None of us leap out of bed every morning in cheerful anticipation for the workday ahead but it’s discouraging that in many places, professionalism and true customer service has been rendered all but obsolete, and that it’s become acceptable for employees to carry on without much social grace or propriety. Sorry Target East Hanover...you didn’t wow me today. I believe in second chances so I’ll give it another go the next time I’m in the area.

The associates today were very helpful. I have to prepare my daughter for the change in life. I’m nervous and she gave me so many suggestions. She took time to show me the area and show me several products. Another associate was so nice when I rang out. Her happy spirit helped me not to fill sad at the moment. You never know what a person is going through. Her smile may not do much for others, but it kept me from crying at the moment. Everyone have different struggles they face. A smile kept me from breaking down at the moment. It’s the small things that may count for something bigger.

Ive always loved Target and the great values! However, the customer service needs to improve greatly!!! When the cashier cant seem to acknowledge you and pulls out her cell phone to text while Im standing there, with my money in hand, waiting to pay... it makes me wonder what kind of low level expectations the management holds for its employees?

I filled out an application for a position during these hard times and the supervisor calls me and just says hello hello and pretends not to hear me. Not sure what kind of professionalism this store has?I tried calling back and the phone just rings for over 5 minutes not even a VM set up.I dont think I want to work here after this impression.

Merchandise selection is the best. Also, the in-store customer service is great too. The sales people have a difficult job, but they do it with a smile. Often, the sales people walk me to the aisle and the item attempting to find. Thank you, Staff Members! Between the coupons and staff you can not lose. Target is my go to store.

Quality products and good prices. The store is clean and neat, well-lit.They dont yet carry a wide selection of vegan items, but they have a few things. Ripple milk, some vegan meatless options in frozen. The aisles are starting to become crowded with co-advertising, hoping that this phase doesnt last.

I was looking for a dvd that was of limited availability. As it turned out, there was just one copy and it was in one of two stock rooms. After about ten minutes I was about to give up hope but the sales associate was quite determined and finally found the one copy that the store had. You have to admire that kind of service to make a five dollar sale. Ill happily shop worth them again

I went shopping this early morning at Target. Found exactly what I was looking for. I dont shop at Target often, but was really surprised at how nice everyone was and I even found pretty great swimwear that I havent found elsewhere. Five stars for Target today!

This is a great store and it was nice that they built a new Starbucks inside, but there are two things I dont like about this store:1. Lines are ridiculously long and they need to open more cash registers. This store does get busy enough where there needs to be more lines to dilute the crowd.2. The Starbucks service staff are a bit ghetto and they work way too slow and it takes too long to make your drink.

Love the selections. I almost always find what Im looking for. Im old school: I like to shop in-store so I can see things. Target is my go-to for that.

One of the worst Targets Ive been too. I love Target. A lot. This store is just bad though. I can say this after moving here and shopping here at least once a week for 6 months. Yeah, sadly its the closest to my house. Its constantly filthy. I mean just a total mess. Most employees are rude and unprofessional (one guy told me, unprompted by me, that he couldnt wait to leave so that he could go drink). I assume management is a joke. I contrast this with store where I used to live. Its like a different planet.

I have been a shopper at this store for many years, and have found it to be OK. Ive always used my credit card for shopping everywhere. However, on the day of my recent purchase, I could not find it. I then paid for my Targets purchases with cash. One of them was a sponge mop, costing almost $20. The mop was ineffective and failed to squeeze the water out properly. I tried to return the mop yesterday and was told that I would only be able to get a refund of $3.76. I was extremely upset and disappointed, and needless to say, I wont be shppping there anymore.

I find everything I need at Target. The employees are very helpful, its clean, organized, and easy to get to. Its always a fun experience.

Its your average Target. The shelves are pretty well organized. The store is pretty clean. It has a Starbucks inside. It has a pretty large assortment of fresh produce and Fresh Foods in its refrigerated section. Like most Targets, the ugliest part is the customer service counter, where guests drop off their junk with little care.

Sadly this is my least favorite Target. Multiple issues here ranging from inability to complete a registry (scanners would not work) to staff unaware how to scan a digital gift card (apple wallet version).
