As a guitar player with a bad back, I came in to ask about a drum throne seat. I walked out with a throne with a back rest attachment. Knowledgeable staff that were a great help! My back thanks you!!
Very welcoming, family owned business. While they dont have the all of the latest and greatest brands, they make up for it with unique and vintage pieces, oddball parts and accessories, and a great staff!
A really good selection of percussion instruments large or small. Way better selection then guitar center. Customer service is over the top. Will be returning for all drum needs
If you have an older kit with hard to find pieces, or just need wisdom in finding what your looking for, this is YOUR PLACE. Its like Rays Music Exchange in The Blues Brothers movie...........but just for drummers. If youre within driving distance, you need to visit. Two thumbs up 👍👍
Outstanding selection of drums, cymbals and hardware, and the best customer service in CT!
Great place to buy drums at. Plenty of accessories and hardwares. This GS drummers never thought it was for sale for a while. Plenty of drum shells and percussion instruments at its best arsenal disposal.
Awesome! Great staff, friendly and knowledgeable. Good stuff, too!
Super friendly staff! Pickup was super quick and easy. Can’t wait for Covid to be over so I can spend some more time in there!
There is no shortage of the great things I can say about Dynamic Percussion! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great products, and a vast range of prices to suit any level of percussionist. Skip the big guys and shop small, it is worth the trip!
The owner is a great drummer and interesting to talk to. Big inventory!
Wonderful place!!!
Staff is great, classes are good length.great for kids and teens.
As a drummer theres no better place I like to be than in a store full of drums and drum equipment. Though, when it came to purchasing drum stuff, for years I would always do my drum shopping online through Amazon or Musicians Friend. The prices on these sites have typically been lower than the local brick and mortar stores, plus you dont have to pay tax. And Amazons delivery has always been really quick in the past so I enjoyed buying from them.Last week, however, I decided to check out Dynamic Percussion for the first time after seeing an ad in Craigs List about a 12% off sale they were having. I had in mind a few things I wanted to buy and thought I would go to the store, try out the things I wanted to buy, check out the price, then likely go on Amazon and buy it. However, as it turned out DPs prices for the items I wanted to buy were competetive with Amazons prices, and in some cases even lower - even factoring in sales tax Dynamic Percussion was lower on some items. The items I was looking at was: LP Mambo and Prestige cowbells, cymbal cleaner and drum cases. I ended up buying over $60 worth of stuff at Dynamic Percussion and plan to go back to buy more stuff that I need there. The service I experienced was excellent and friendly too, not pushy and theyll leave you alone if thats what you want. For an example of the service, I asked the salesman about cymbal cleaner. The last cleaner I bought was Paiste cymbal cleaner and it stripped off the brilliant finish on my cymbals. He recommended Groove Juice and even demonstrated it for me in the store on a dirty cymbal with brilliant finish they had. It cleaned the cymbal but did not strip the finish. This is the kind of service you cannot get if you buy from Amazon. Add to that the fact that if you need to return something for any reason it is a heck of a lot easier to go to the local store that you bought the item from instead of trying to return it back to Amazon. And its definitely a good thing to be supporting local business. Ill be going back there soon!
The best place for drum lessons and equipment
The experience was absolutely wonderful
